Bron is severely less powerful if he can't recover his spells. His arcane pool is also empty, and if he can't prepare spells, he can't refill the pool.

He's basically a rogue without sneak attack dice and fewer skills at this point... oh but at least he has cantrips, so he can do two-weapon fighting if he makes a concentration check.

I understand both arguments but I feel for the spell casters. I believe we really should have them close to %100.

I think we are moving towards resting during the day to prepare for he night battle once again. During the rest spellcaster will need to memorize/pray for spells that will aid us fight fatigue.

As for strategy, Moira will need to be with a melee fighter so she can take advantage of her flanking/sneak attack abilities. the last battle I could not use it as se was fighting 1 on 1.

Sorry everyone, last week was busy. Got back late friday night, slept through the weekend, and then got hammered Monday at work because nobody could do anything without me last week. *sigh* I'll be caught back up by this weekend and normal posting will resume.

ALso, it appears I didn't post this in this thread either, I thought I got all of them, but it appears I missed a couple. My father fell again and broke his back (again) the thursday before last. I had to drive to Louisiana to deal with a bunch of stuff because of it.

Justified stay the course taking another level of fighter. He gains +1 BAB and average hp. Saves stay the same.

HP: 1d10 ⇒ 6

He get a new feat and takes Greater Trip. Now when he trips all his allies that threaten get AOOs.

And he gets 5 skill points. He spends them:
Acrobatics +2
Perception +1
Spellcraft +2
Survival +1

And that's it. Fighters are easy to level. :)

Who says the GM won't be shaping some treasure? A lot of APs say 'insert item appropriate for characters' into treasure hoards.


Up Krilla to level 7, you probably just missed a level up somewhere.

The PC's won't have access to a major commercial hub for a long time, so I will definitely have to customize treasure here and there. To facilitate that, it would be helpful if you could add little item wish lists to your profiles.

Wishlist added. I didn't bother to put things like magic weapons, armor, or cloaks of resistance or rings of protection in, as in my experience AP's toss those around like candy starting about level 6 and 7.

I suspect that everyone will shortly be happy that Krila has Survival skills. :)

Happy New Year everyone.

Sorry for my iffy posting, holidays were mostly preparing to get my father moved from Louisiana to Texas, then 3 days in an RV moving him.

Monday Night : No sleep due to Anxiety over moving him.
Tuesday : Pick up RV, Drive 11 hours from TX to LA
Tuesday Night : Sleep 6 hours
Wednesday : Pack up everything he owns into RV, Take him to visit brothers one last time, go by VA to get prescriptions (2.5 hours), eat Po-boys for lunch. 6PM Take off in RV.
Thursday : Arrive at Assisted Living Facility at 6AM. Get 1 hour nap, get up, start unloading RV. 9AM Get father into new facility. 11AM leave facility to take RV back to rental facility. Clean RV. 2PM Get home with lunch (first food since 4AM). 4PM Collapse.

So been a bit busy. Will get posts up later today.

Question to the GM, do you allow Familiar Archetypes?

Was just noticing this one, and I think it might come in handy, especially since Krila doesn't really use her familiar to deliver touch spells.

Per the rules, standing up is a move action unless you have a feat or class ability or racial ability.

Personally, I always house rule that things with four or more legs can stand up as a swift action. Still provokes, but it's significantly easier for my cat to stand up from prone than it is for me to stand up from prone. :)

Before I act, I need to know if we are using any house rules for environmental effects on spells.

For example, if someone cast, oh say, ball lightning in a pool of water where a big nasty was, would it increase/decrease saves or have any other effects?


I have no house rules regarding that. So go by RAW.

Sorry everyone, new contract, and I have to drive 4 hours to reach it Monday and 4 hours to get home Friday. Was sick Thursday, so all in all, sucky week. Should get better next week, and the week after. Got a hotel room for the whole month now, so I can drive in on Sunday nights and back on Saturday mornings, meaning I'll get more rest and not have any more 14 hour days. Had 33 hours Wednesday evening before getting sick.
