Shu, I like you. You seem sensible.

Shu glares at Bizzle, then looks to Mu and snaps off some words in Tien.

"他只是叫我老疯狂?"

"You aah senile. But he call you strawberry", Mu twists his forefinger into his ear digging for a morsel.

"Ahhh.. ok." Shu's scowl fades and he nods respectfully to Bizzle.

What is a strawberry? Surely something powerful.

Meanwhile, a battle rages just ahead...

I love these interactions.

Ennoia fires an arrow at the leader up above but her arrow misses him. He responds by shaking up a small vial and tossing it down at Ennoia.

Once the fighting starts he grins and adds

Once he reaches the doorway he fires his arrow at the already wounded goblin arrow: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (2) + 8 = 10 for damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6

"Okay - I go!", Mu takes a deep hollow breath and takes off like a lizard on fire around the three goblins and up the steps, "wwooooooYAAAHHHHH!!!".

Al runs into the room but his arrow misses. Mu runs into the room past the lab-assistant goblins and up the stairs to the head goblin. They're still FF, you won't provoke.

Shu readies and activates his wand of true strike.

Makena enters a trance-like state, rolling her eyes back, and starts moving her upper body rythmically. Suddenly, all her body seems synchronized to some beating in her mind, and she moves gracefully past her allies and into the goblin's chamber, her scimitar in, ready to strike.

Standard Action = Start bardic performance (battle dance)
Move action = enter the room

Shu activates a wand while Makena dances into the room. The goblin lab assistants grab vials from the nearby lab benches and toss them at the party.

#1 ranged touch against Al: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12
fire damage: 1d6 + 1d4 ⇒ (1) + (2) = 3

#2 ranged touch against Makena: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Well, its not like they really missed completely, they did get us with splashes of damage. Give your minions a little credit.

Ennoia steps forward and tries to shoot the goblin's leader:
Attack (point-blank shot): 1d20 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (14) + 6 + 1 = 211d8 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 2 + 1 = 9

Frunobulax makes his way into the fray. With his greataxe already in hand, he swings at the closest goblin.

Attack: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

Sorry - I cannot see the map at this time, but I think there was a goblin directly. to the west that I could move to and attack.

Ennoia puts an arrow in the goblin up top. Fruno moves into the room and swings at a goblin but his leather smock is able to absorb the blow.

Yarak backs away from the edge (people down below lose line-of-sight) and tosses another alchemical remedy at Mu!

Al moves to the square to his NW and attacks goblin one with his glaive attack: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (17) + 8 = 25 and damage: 1d10 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10

Makena crosses the room spinning and somersaulting, and yet she manages to wield the scimitar gracefully. She advances towards Yarak and stops by his side, swinging her blade against the goblin.

Shu steps to the doorway and looks upon the goblins with disdain. "Pshaw. Not going to waste too much of great magic here."

Almost casually he raises his small crossbow and shoots between his companions legs at the goblin straight ahead.

Crossbow, Point Blank Shot, True Strike, cover penalties: 1d20 + 5 + 20 - 8 ⇒ (14) + 5 + 20 - 8 = 31
Damage: 1d6 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

Great shot! Woohoo! Bizzle cheers on his fellow gnome. You must teach me that trick if you can!

Bizzle fires his crossbow at Goblin #1. Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (9) + 2 = 11
Bolt: 1d6 ⇒ 4

Ref vs splash: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (13) + 5 = 18

"floorlicking gobrlins!", Mu closes in.

Std Atk, sansetsukon: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (15) + 5 = 20, damage: 1d10 + 4 ⇒ (8) + 4 = 12

The first goblin assistant falls to Al's blade. Makena makes her way up the stairs but misses the head goblin. Shu pulls off a nice shot through everyone's legs, just barely missing Fruno's. . . well. . . he takes down the goblin, that's the important point. Bizzle's shot is less successful, although it is safely clear of anyone's. . .well. . .

Mu hits the leader hard enough to bring him down and the final goblin throws down his weapon and puts his hands to the air.

Out of combat!

Ennoia stands watch at the entrance while the rest of the group heals, searches the goblins and the room.

Fruno becomes aware of a slight breeze between his legs as a bolt sinks into the goblin. "Little close for comfort, there!" However, he smiles as he sees the goblins fall.

When he notices the surrendering goblin, he approaches, brandishing his axe.

"I'm only going to ask you one time, and I want a straight answer. I swear, if you babble on in some kind of goblin gobbledigook, I'll cut that tongue out. Anyway, make this easy for yourself. How many more of your friends are there?"

As Fruno interrogates the little whelp, he rotates his greataxe in his hands.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (1) + 7 = 8

The goblin merely giggles as it notices that Fruno now has a hole in his pants where the bolt went through.

Yarak has drawn his “strategic blueprint” in charcoal upon the east wall of the upper level. It’s an extremely rudimentary pictorial map of Magnimar with fire and smoke pouring from the buildings, as well as numerous dead dogs, horses, and humanoids.

Yarak carried 2 acid flasks, 2 flash powders, 2 sneezing powders, 2 smokesticks, an alchemist's kit, a dagger, and a formula book.

Each of the three apprentices had 3 alchemist fires, leather armor, dogslicers, and lab aprons.

Unless anyone stops her Ekkie tries to grab a few vials of alchemist's fire before climbing back into Al's backpack.

Now Ekkie!, don't be running off like that! If we feel you need things like that we'll be happy to provide them. Now, go back into the backpack before you get yourself in trouble with the toothy one.

"Hey, I think you handy haversack showing." Shu says as he steps past Frunobulax and locks another bolt in his crossbow, then aims it casually at the goblin, as if thinking about target practice.

Intimidate: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (10) + 6 = 16

"You think this funny too? He ask you question. Talk or else.."

Al picks up the the flash powders and the smoke sticks and places them in his belt pouch.

"Anybody want or need any of this other stuff?" not waiting for an answer he continues "Anybody need some healing?"

He offers his wand of cure light to Ennoia again "If you would be so kind, noble lady"

Enoia nods and uses the wand on the wounded, matching each use with a gentle caress on their forehead.
Falayna, the mother, loves you and soothes your wounds.

Who else? Could people have their current hp/total hp below their names please? It would make healing much easier.

Frunobulax came away unscathed. He looks down and see the hole from the arrow. "Huh, thought I felt a breeze."

He waits to see if Shu's efforts have loosened the tongue of the captive goblin.

"Trespassers!" the goblin responds. He then begins to say something in Goblin that doesn't sound too pleasant. Ekkie certainly seems offended, if that is possible for a goblin.

Correct, I took 2 splash damage I believe so I am at 12/14 presently.

Its ok Ekkie! You are with us. This fella is just angry he is on the wrong side.

At the goblin's outburst, Frunobulax loses his patience. He brings his greataxe up and tries to bring the butt of the hilt down on the goblin's head to knock him out.

NL Greataxe Attack: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (9) + 3 - 4 = 8

NL Damage: 1d12 + 4 ⇒ (9) + 4 = 13

But, this is just not the half-orc's day.

Fruno's greataxe catches on his torn pants and rips an even bigger hole in the trousers.

"C'mon guys, don't look! Gimme a minute to fix this before it gets worse. Stupid goblin (grumble, grumble)..."

Frunobulax opens his Pathfinder kit and uses the thread and needle to make a makeshift patch to his trousers.

Makena covers her mouth with her hand and giggles at the situation. She then looks to the side, giving the half-orc some much deserved privacy. "Sure, go ahead and fix that..."

His head just about waist high, Shu recoils from Frunobulax's strip tease. "Hey, how about you make warning before releasing kraken!"

Assuming Shu was also unsuccessful at intimidation?

"This goblin waste of time. Someone tie him up, or hang him."

Shu offers a length of silk rope for either purpose.

Suddenly, Mu is looming behind the small goblin. With a quick rap to the side of the green head, hopefully the little cretin goes out like a lamp. ::bonk::

OK, well, ummm, I guess we're done in here? Errr, if the seamstress is finished we should be moving on.

"Seamstress, heh! Guess that make me tailor. Anyone else want hole in pants?"

Nooo, thank you! I'll leave that to the oafs among us. Us short folk can't afford to lose any thread.

Frunobulax puts his sewing kit a way, giving Bizzle a half-hearted glare at the seamstress comment. He puts his pack back on.

"I just hope I don't swing this axe too wide," sideways glance at Bizzle, "or too low." Wink!

Fruno steps into the hallway and looks back, "Shall we?"
