I am sure this has been answered but I could not find it. In the APG the pre-reqs for Tripping Strike are Imp. Trip and BAB +9 in the table and Int 13, Combat Expertise, imp. Trip and BAB +9 in the description. Which one is correct.
Thank you.
Both. A feats prerequisites include all prerequisites for feats beneath it. Int 13 is needed for Combat Expertise, which is needed for Imp. Trip, which is a prerequisite. They simplify things for the table.

You need Combat Expertise for Imp. Trip, and a 13 Int for Combat Expertise so... both are right? The feat just follows out the whole train of logic.

The two are not equivalent, because monks can get Improved Trip as a bonus feat without meeting the prereqs.
If you do not meet the prerequisites for a feat, you do not get the bennefit, unless you have something that waves the prerequisites. Therefore, if you do not have something like Monk or Ranger who ignore prerequs, if your int drops you lose everything in the combat expertise chain.
I believe even if you have improved trip from something like the monk you still need to have combat expertise to get later feats in the chain, but do not think you would need the int 13 (if you also got combat expertise from monk). I'm clicking the faq though, since I have no idea. I do not think waving 1 feats prerequs allows you to wave more though.

That's not the statement that I have issue with. The one I quoted is the one I was asking for your rules support for:
A feats prerequisites include all prerequisites for feats beneath it.
Can you back up this claim with anything? Because this would certainly change a few things.

There was some discussion of the issue when the Core Rulebook came out, with regards to monks not qualifying for Greater Trip even though they have Improved Trip (e.g.).
I think the response at the time was "sorry, your monk needs Combat Expertise".
