As I read the rules you can do movement OR a stunt: "Instead of ordinary movement, pilots can attempt stunts with their starships (see Stunt on page 324), pushing them beyond their design specifications to enact daring moves." - page 319 CRB.
I guess Evade And Flyby let you do normal moves and get a benefit but the enemy ship was too far for flyby so I suppose Evade?

GM-Bot for Jaxom's Action, Scanning: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (16) + 10 = 26
Jaxom decides to scan the enemy ship as the Hippocampus heaves around to line up its firing arcs.
Both ships blasts are off-the-mark, resulting only in space dust.
Round 4 - Engineering Phase!
Telion, if you're available, give me your action this round!
Jaxom "Exo-G" Sandstrom |
”I can confirm, there is only one life form aboard that ship. And they only have weapons in their forward arc!”
Jaxom directs the ship’s sensors in an effort to zero in on their enemy’s weapons...
Computers: 1d20 + 10 + 2 ⇒ (12) + 10 + 2 = 24
”Now hit their weapons!”
That’s a “Target System” Action. If successful our weapons Crit on 19/20and the Crit damage goes right to the systems targeted, or something like that.

GM Dinketry |
GM roll: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (13) + 8 = 21
The enemy ship, previously moving erratically, seems to have straightened out its flying vectors.

August, please give me your initial Piloting roll, followed by your action and subsequent Piloting roll.
Glancing back and forth between their monitors and the visors projecting the external space quadrant, the crew can see the floating flashing perimeter lights surrounding the quarantined area around the Acreon in near-proximity. A non-urgent beep, drowned out by the attack klaxons, signals their pending arrival to their programmed location.

A few stray lasers get absorbed by the Hippocampus fore shields.
Idar, hit me with your best shot!
Idar the Houseless |
Gunnery, Captain, Computer: 1d20 + 5 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 5 + 4 + 1 = 28

Idar makes the most of August's close pass of the necroglider, and the boosted projectile velocity.

Round 5 - Helm Phase!
The engines of the Hippocampus hum a bit more vibrantly, suggesting an amassment of kinetic energy.
GM roll: 1d20 + 14 + 1 ⇒ (8) + 14 + 1 = 23
August, give me your first and second Piloting checks and your action for this round, please. Jaxom, you may give me a Science Officer roll as well.
Jaxom "Exo-G" Sandstrom |
”It looks like their engines are up again huh?”
Jaxom directs the ship’s sensors in an effort to zero in on their enemy’s engines again...
