Rhuul offers the cats a scratch behind their ears as he goes past before asking "What is it called when a cat wins a dog show?"

As the others discuss plans he nods.

"I agree. We are inside, so let us deal with these things first."

He peers through the windows. "And if it starts to rain, being inside is much better than outside."

After a pause he adds

"A cat-has-trophy!"

The dweomercats instantly attack the dwarf :p

On the second floor gears, glass, and chunks of wax litter the polished wood floor under a sign that proclaims “Scars of the Lich.”
The corpse of a Kellid warrior lies in a pool of blood, her furs soaked through. A constant ticking and whirring sound echoes in this area, emanating from a pair of strange constructs that seem far less willing to negotiate than the strange tigers.

Knowledge (arcana) DC 18:
These are Constructs (Clockwork) known as Clockwork Guardians. Clockwork guardians are dedicated to the art of defense. They work best when they operate in small groups, under orders to defend specific locations from intruders. Their standard operating procedure is to force foes out of their respective holdings by use of overwhelming force.
For every 5 that you beat the DC, you may ask for one piece of information from this list.

Rhuul, they're immune to the normal things that constructs are immune to.

Construct Immunities:
Death effects, disease, mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects), necromancy effects, paralysis, poison, sleep, stun, and any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless). Constructs are not subject to nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, or energy drain.

And with that, Lissa surges forward, a small wave of water giving her a boost of speed. She goes to dive past the wall and construct, before ducking back against the wall, with water building about her at a slower pace then before. Instead of grasping at the Orb, however, she instead reaches into it, to draw out a watery handle from within, and stretches the flow almost to the length of a whip, still with an thick orb at the end. She pauses for a moment before snapping the weapon at the first construct, hoping to clock it alongside the head with the orb.
