With two of the team having emerged, the guards focus their attention.

Cyan moves across the walls, and takes a shot at Brallenera.

Which lands way off course....skewering a passing bunny.

Orange drops his bow, and moves towards the stairs, drawing his sword.
Where he takes a defensive stance.
Purple and Yellow move west, preparing actions.

With a quiet word, Mylvwara send her companion, Cariad, scurrying behind the nearby tree. With a slightly louder word, she reminds Carr, "Don't forget, Angel, call out if you want rid of the mist."

Then she quietly casts a spell and disappears (not that anyone can see her anyway, what with the fog...).

The very alert might realise that she has moved along behind her racing allies.

I'm not going to wait for Brallenera's action before I post, but be aware that it comes after.

Mylvwara relies on her allies' combat skills and decides to make sure there aren't any surprises ahead. She moves around the central structure and has a peek inside.

Carr finishes his spell of enlargement, doubling in size. He steps closer to the foe at the top of the wall. Trying to determine if I can swing at him.

Certainly can, but they have cover.

Carr swings at the nearest foe, his extremely forceful blade moving with preternatural speed granted by Foxy.

It's tricky to immediately spot Mylvwara like this. I like that option for the icon. :)

Mylvwara sees the tips of some of the inner walls' decorations.
They are old, but still recognizable as bald headed men, some with prayer beads around their necks.

Cyan's panicking is cut short, as Carr hews horizontally upwards, finishing this conflict.

'Well I hope none of theses guys is the fella we were supposed to talk to.' Ting quickly gathers his chakrams, then inspects the bodies, to see if any were alive. "Do you's t'ink we's should try an' speak's ta any of 'em?" Also taking a moment to got through there pockets.

ting will take 10(21) on perception searching the bodies. And roll heal checks to see if any are alive.

Ting determines purple and Cyan are still alive, the latter though is halfway to the grave. He is alive, but pretty wounded.

Coming down from the parapet, Mylvwara rejoins the group and then cancels her invisibility.
"Experience suggest that this is the kind of place where the boss is going to have all of the finest equipment. And give a lot of orders. He'll stand out, I expect."

She then reports to the group, "The inner chamber is empty except for many statues, of which I am suspicious, and stairwells heading down. One might surmise that the true lair lies beneath the ground?"

Mylvwara heads to the castle wall and signals Cariad to return to her, then continues her monologue, "I will probe for signs of enchantment before we enter. How well are we equipped for exploration and combat underground?"

How do we feel about 15 minutes to prepare some more spells now?

Ting points to purple and cyan, "Ease two's are alive, if'n barely. Do's we's want ta rouse 'em, An' ask a few questions?"

"Oh, yes, by all means: we should know as much as we can." She looks at her bag, remembers that its mostly just books, "Does anyone have any rope?"

What will it be, ye brave adventurers?

Ting looks at his golden friend, "Carr you's be tha medically bloke, does ya want ta save either o' 'ease buggers, so's we's can question 'em, er shall we's let 'em die?"

Carr heaves an overdramatic sigh, hustling around the barrier, and lays hands on... whichever one he runs into first.

Carr goes with the one most likely to pull through, and revives purple.

The man's eyes slowly open, and he peers up into the skies, before looking around to see you four.

He is smart enough to not make sudden moves.
"Err...so, what do you want. You've kept me alive for a reason."
