"I have no healing left..I spend my magic on getting us down safely at the cliff.."
Thran keeps up his inspiring song
as he moves around the corner stepping between Azar's long legs he slices his falchion in a side swipe, aiming for his targets legs. trying to cut down the green shirt wearing man in one attack.
To hit AC: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (7) + 4 + 1 + 1 = 13
Slicing damage if hit: 2d4 + 6 + 1 ⇒ (3, 4) + 6 + 1 = 14
| Fjuri |
Thran cuts the man down, and it seems the man will not be getting up soon, not without the necessary, exotic spells...
Are you sure you wish to channel Azar? Do you have selective channeling? Two of the mobs close to you went down with 5 damage, 6 damage, using channeling might have me put them back on the map again... ;)

I have selective channeling. Can omit two targets from each channel. Will that allow me to channel without bringing guys back?

In case the dog get's back up from being healed - otherwise just ignore
"Stab the dog while it's still trying to get back up Osborn. It's easier to hit while it's still down on the ground"
Osborn Brushgather

I may be stretching my luck a little here but.., coup de grace on the dog before the channel? I auto hit, it is auto crit, damage rolled below.
Rapier Coup de Grace damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3 to be doubled
sneak attack: 1d6 ⇒ 3
So 9 damage. If that doesn't kill it outright it needs to make a
DC 19 fort save or die
| Fjuri |
The dog was far from getting up again, but Osborn gracefully puts it out of its misery.
The man in the red shirt flees the scene. Its getting too dangerous for him. The man inside the tower sees it and curses, "come back you coward! When I'm finished here I'll find you and you'll regret running away"
He then takes another arrow and shoots it at Thran, who's almost below him.

Getting shot in the shoulder Thran sees the use of Osborn action and moves into the tower as well. Once inside he boosts his own resistance.
Move inside and casting resistance ..since I'm not going to charge up the stairs in my current condition

Andrezi growls low in his throat and moves up the stairwell, ready to cast his spell should he see an enemy.
Move: 30 ft to stairs

I'm sorry. I thought I had posted before..but I guess that was all made up in my head or something
Thran follows Osborn up the stairs, ready to throw a spell once he encounters something
Ready: daze (dc 13 will save) vs the first qualifying enemy

I'm back
Andrezi, Oborn and Thran move up the stairs. Andrezi casts burning hands at the man they find there.
Reflex: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 = 2
Damage: 1d4 ⇒ 3
Thran follows up with trying to daze the man, but ultimately failing.
Will: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (19) + 1 = 20
The man walks up to Andrezi, who was running in front and attacks him with a flail.

He'll have taken 2 more points of damage, one from evoker Su Intense Spells, one from Thran's funky muzak.
Desperation flooding his mind Andrezi calls out to the magic inherent in his wand, letting it fill his mind with bursts of wonderous color. He reaches into his spell component pouch for colored sand and waves his wand while ducking and weaving to avoid getting hit again.
"የቀለም እርጭ!"
Cast Defensively DC 17: 1d20 + 12 ⇒ (2) + 12 = 14
The spell fizzles as Andrezi moves around too much, focused on avoiding being hit.

Osborn will move down(?) one then diagonally down(?) one to get behind the man. He will duck and weave in an attempt to dodge the attacks coming.
Tumble to avoid AoO
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
He will then launch an attack with his rapier
Rapier: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6
Damage: 1d4 + 1 ⇒ (3) + 1 = 4
Sneak Attack Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 1
Azar "Longspear"

I'm perhaps confused... Can Azar get inside from the exterior? It appears there is a hallway. Does that lead to the outside, from which the giant Azar can squeeze in?
Evoker Andrezi Nichols

Azar "Longspear"
|
Having squeezed through the small corridor, Azar stands, gigantic, within the tower room. Having abandoned his unwieldy and too-long longspear outside, he draws his mace as he enters the room.
Can't draw and move with BAB +0, so... here I am. Done.
Evoker Andrezi Nichols

Andrezi steps away from the melee, out of spells and nearly unconscious from what feels like crushed ribs. He pulls out his crossbow and loads it.
Free: 5ft away
Standard: Pull out light crossbow
Move: Load light crossbow
Thran
|
Using the dazed state of his opponent to prevent him from taking a swipe at him when he moves up Thran moves closer and swings his falchion low, trying to cut the opposition off at the knees
to hit AC: 1d20 + 4 + 2 ⇒ (8) + 4 + 2 = 14
Slashing damage if hit: 2d4 + 6 ⇒ (1, 2) + 6 = 9
I suggest that Osborn either delays or readies for when he get's a flank from me because currently Andrezi steps away before Osborn has a flanking buddy and takes his turn..which I will provide a few seconds later
Azar "Longspear"
|
Azar, once he gets inside the (very small, he thinks) room, realizes how injured his fellow Pathfinders are.
He calls on Iomedae to help heal them.
Channel: 1d6 ⇒ 2

You had a flank with Andrezi..but he moved before your initiative came up..then I moved to provide you with a flank ..end result will be the same..but the order is a bit different ;)

Andrezi takes this opportunity to collapse in a pile next to the stairwell. "Someone see if he has that Nethys-d***ed code book on him so we can end this, I'm beat."

The non-exhausted member of the group go through Nessian's stuff, but the book is easy enough to find. After a couple of minutes peering through the book, one of you remembers to bring Yargos in on it.
"Great work my friends... Ah, here it is, the signal to put the attack on hold again is here."
He looks around and find some flares laying about. He gives them to you and points at them.
"first fire that one, than that one, then wait exactly twenty four seconds, then fire that one."

While there is no direct visible effect of the flares, the local mists in the puddles have returned to normal fog. No more wraiths appearing out of them. Yargos thanks you a lot and offers to buy you a drink when you visit him again in the puddles.
At the society they're extremely happy with the book you brought home. It'll be studied and locked away in the dark archives.

Everyone gets a few days rest and some time to catch up with your friends and do some training. On the third day, in the early afternoon, you are called back to Venture-Captain Adril Hestram.
"There’s trouble at the Blakros Museum again, Venture-Captain Adril Hestram growled when you first entered the meeting room in the Grand Lodge earlier this afternoon. "The museum’s curator, Nigel Aldain, came to me this morning asking for help. Apparently, a wayward daughter of his illustrious patrons, the powerful Blakros family, has disappeared, along with a few of the museum’s watchmen who went looking for her. The Society, has helped him in the past, and he wants us to find her, before he loses his job, or worse. He knows you all, so he'll be glad to see you again. Now Nigel’s an old friend, and a former Pathfinder as you know, but this kind of missing person case isn’t really our bailiwick. Normally I’d tell him to find the district guard and leave the Society out of it.
"But then he made me an offer that was too good to pass up. Not only will he allow the Society access to the Blakros Museum’s extensive and very private library, but apparently this same missing daughter just returned to Absalom with a pack full of ancient relics collected throughout Osirion and northern Garund. And Nigel promised the Society first pick of any of those pieces that catch our fancy. I don’t need to tell you what those kinds of things might be worth, so it looks like you’re heading to the Blakros Museum tonight.
"The missing daughter is named Imrizade Blakros—half-Osirian herself and a pretty successful adventurer and fortunehunter by all accounts. She just arrived in Absalom out of the blue a few days ago, after a couple of years’ worth of tomb-raiding in the Osirian deserts, and carrying an odd metal cylinder covered in hieroglyphs, like nothing Nigel has ever seen before. Nigel says she went straight to the basement of the museum to do some research in the family’s library, muttering something about ‘whispers in the dark’ and ‘old tapestries,’ or something.
"He didn’t hear from her for a couple of days, which isn’t unusual when someone is deep into their research in the archives, but he got worried when strange noises started coming from the basement. He sent a watchman down there to investigate, and when he didn’t return, Nigel sent a few more. That was last night, and they haven’t come back up either.
"Go to the museum and find out what happened to Imrizade Blakros and the watchmen. Nigel would prefer them alive, of course, especially the Blakros woman, but the Society is more interested in what she brought back with her. I’ve got a hunch it wasn’t just grave goods and pretty jewelry. Whatever she found, the Society wants it, or at the very least some information about it.
Any questions? I assume you still know the way? Korvan is back with you on this mission, replacing Larksong who went MIA when you investigated the Silent Tide."

Knowledge local for information about the Blackros museum including it's location: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5
No clue about the DC ... but I guess that won't give me very much ;)
" Yeah..I sort of remember where it is, but maybe you can remind me?"
If/when Thran is given directions he will move to the museum and start to figure out what happened to Imrizade Blakros and the watchmen.
| Fjuri |
You can use knowledge history for more information about the museum. You can use knowledge local or diplomacy for more information about the Blackros Family.
Despite Thran's early confusion, as soon as Adril Hestram starts explaining where the museum is located it gets quickly back to him. By the time the Venture Captain is done explaining, Thran wonders how he could have forgotten it in the first place.

Inspired by what he's being told Thran's brain fires on all cylinders once more
Knowledge (history) = bardic knowledge: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 = 11
Once outside Thran decides to ask around to hear what the latest gossip about the place is
Diplomacy (Gather information): 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
But it seems that poking someone in the gut and asking him what he knows isn't the way to go about this information gathering.

Andrezi goes back to all of the time he spent in the library at the Grand Lodge and thinks of what he's learned of both the museum and the Blackros Family.
