An inquisitor would be an OK class. As for why you're in Pashin, you're with a group of dwarves hired by the mayor of Pashin to investigate the sewers and evaluate the integrity of the construction. It was crafted centuries ago back in old Ishtar by dwarf laborers and there as and there has been some concerns of structural weaknesses developing. So basically you're a part of the survey crew to check out the sewers and advise on what kind of reconstruction is required. I have an idea of when the party will show up and meet you so be patient.

Perfect! Thanks!

Checking in. Hope all are well!

As do I.

Yea its been pretty quiet over the past few days.

I posted what I was going to do several days ago. Nada from anyone else but that might be due to the website being down.

Do we know how to find the mayor? I assume we have to get past the dark knights at the gate first?

Also, apologies for not knowing the Dragonlance setting too well but what's the relation between the mayor of Pashin and the dark knights?

(In character, I don't think Clara would be the one to speak up here, but I'd like to help keep things moving.)

Is the afflicted kender still in the group?

Can we go ahead and introduce the dwarf yet, DM?

It would take a knowledge local check or some actual RP info gathering to know in depth details about the mayor. Officially he is accommodating to the dark knights as they have a superior military force and offending them would risk full occupation.

Not cool Drake, I was trying to recruit him to the Wizards of High Sorcery. That is almost underhanded. If this is what the rest of the campaign is going to be about...

Male Anthrosian Human Warder/Psion 3

Nothing saying he cant do both. He can be a Red Robed Steel Legionnaire. :P

But if you feel that strongly about it bro, I will back off. ;)

The conclave actually has some issues with the legion of steel. They not only embrace sorcery in their ranks, they also train people in sorcery. The legion sees sorcery as an asset to their cause and have outright refused to convert to wizard magic. This puts the wizards on poor terms with the legion.

The problem is that for two weeks I have been writing about trying to get the resources to be able to help him become a wizard and then all of a sudden, from now where, it's, I am going to take him to be a Steel Legionarre, even if I am a knight of Solamania and they are our competition. If I hadn't said anything at all then it could be different,

I'm still here, and have been following along, just Datura didn't have much to add. He was searching for food during the questioning, and let the speakers handle the gate guards.

I kind of imagine your plant like the plant on Little Shop of Horrors.

Yeah, Clara should probably never be the party face...

Can we introduce the dwarf?

I have a plan to introduce him but the PC's have to leave the Inn for the "Event" to actually happen.

No problem. Waiting patiently.

Where is everyone? Its been hella quiet on posts for days!

At what point does a DM consider a player that has not responded in weeks gone?

Yea that is the question of the hour. Ok well it looks like we've lost our skulldugger in the party. We'll say that during the pursuit Semus broke off from the party and vanished into the night using his sneaky Kender Ranger skills. He may show up as an NPC later or if the player decides to come back. This does open another slot though for a new PC as we don't have a trapfinder in the party.

Sometimes it depends on their activity. I often will scroll through their aliases and posts to see when the last time they posted was. If it was recent in another game or thread, I PM them. If they haven't been active on anything, I give more leeway, because it often indicates life happened and they had to deal with it.

Speaking of, Shalafi, it is Elrawien's turn again.

Is Chaucer from the other DL game in this game already? If not, I would ask him if he would like to roll a trap finder. He is a great RPer. If he wants to do something else, I will reroll a Kender rogue. I love rogues and Kender. I can roll a rogue tonight if he wants to be something else.

Afflicted or true kender? Will he live in the sewer too?

Whatever helps the group. I will have to do some research. I definitely do not want to be grim in personality! I will wait and see if Chaucer is interested and what roll he want to play! I think he likes melee guys.

I sent Chaucer a PM with the link here in case he is interested.

Chaucer said he was too busy to add another game.

Can't inquistors be sneaky. I thought the kender was actually a ranger and not a rouge?

He was the ranger that had the rogue ability to find traps. He took the trapper build.

And Clarabibulus has very good stealth, so a trap finder was enough to fill the party out nicely.

Clarabibulus is NOT the one to speak for the group, but I think the fact that we have a reward from the mayor in hand is a good bit of evidence of bring up and up, if we need it... and if we don't think the knights would steal it.

M Silvanesti Elf Wizard (Necromancer) 6/5 Renegade Hunter Int +2 AC 22, touch 22, flat-footed 10 (+2 Dex) hp 44 (9d6+9) Fort +5, Ref +6, Will +7; +2 vs. enchantments Defensive Abilities resistance; Immune sleep;

The knights are still far away from us? If I need to I can try to slow them up by putting them to sleep.

Is this game caput?

It seems we've lost a lot of players. A common trend for AP's I've seen on the boards it seems. Had the same problem the last time I ran the game.

Yeah, I hate to say it but I think things have petered out here.

HGOK, thanks for the time you put into this. I enjoyed creating Claribulus and playing with y'all, and am sorry this didn't go further.

Yea sad to see things fall apart. Still I'm giving this game another shot on Roll20 so hopefully things go better over there. To everyone thanks for coming out and the best of luck in your future gaming endeavors.

This was a lot of fun! Thanks HGOK.

Male Anthrosian Human Warder/Psion 3

Anyway we could get this game started back up again? It was a lot of fun and a pretty great party.
