My one critique about Grosse Point Blank is I am not a fan of Dan Aykroyd dying.
The John Cusack trio is this, Say Anything, and High Fidelity. (The latter is based on a book that gave me the chills when I was 30, 31 or so -- it was like the author had been reading my mind.)
I'm probably not going to get to read this, would you like to share further?

My one critique about Grosse Point Blank is I am not a fan of Dan Aykroyd dying.
On the other hand, crazed killer Dan Aykroyd was pretty fun while he lasted.
The ending was very pat, but OTOH Cusack trying to have The Relationship Discussion while in the middle of a firefight with a squad of hitmen was amusing. "But I think if you look past that, you can find a man worth loving."

Thirtysomething guy who can't commit. The book does a good job getting inside his head, and manages to walk a fine line between "this guy is a sympathetic character whose issues make sense" and "this guy is a self-centered jackass".

I may have to read this book to get perspective.

Edmin, Xen should I try to chase down ice creature or help with Cujo the seal?
Edmin looks like he could use the help.
I'm leaning towards 70/30 - ice creature/seal monster right now unless you want me to come down and help with the seal.
Xenfal
nah kill the ice critter. edmin will hit this round, or next round and if he doesnt then he dies:)

I just realized DM tries to make our life challenging, miserable and outright wants us to no longer draw breath at the same time tells us what movies were good back in the day.
DM obviously has levels in New York Times movie critic unprestige class.

Only time will tell if we are truly traveling the highway to hell. But the nice thing with having a bard is that a few levels of Perform(percussion) and we will have hell's bells in every battle.

Well I say don't fear the reaper, fear us. As for songs remember, sad songs say so much when it's a kind of magic that backs it up. Just remember that a tiny dancer can really be a thriller when built like a brick house.
Just saying.

Judge how much did you put in? My count is 75 before judge. Also I am assuming that we divided the seal gold evenly.
everyone gets 12.5 gold, if edmin needed to borrow he will have to work it out.
Note this money has been distributed now

Found it.
For now please add to Cуровую's inventory -
Scroll of See Invisibility
If Edmin has 25 gp, a scroll of Mount
Scroll of Mount, Communal for the group.
Possibly a scroll of True Strike if I have enough gold and for use with Bref's head, which I would give to whomever does carry Bref's head.
And 40 gp for iron supplies investment.
Lastly a fair amount of good rum and brandy from the supplies available to us from the house. Enough for a few men and an ogre. I will request Grumblejack to carry this for me, but store it discreetly with the iron supplies.
And look I do have a good amount of good rum and brandy stashed with the iron supplies! It was hidden with our iron supplies. That can help with taking the captian to the shoreline.
Posthumous 10 gp iron supplies investment for Bref because I owed him on a side bet and he can't technically collect.
Jax on another post I offered to give you 10 gp on a side bet that I technically lost, or invest it for you but did not see a response.
So for the investment, Cуровую 50 gp plus possibly another 10 gp if Jax authorized it.
Judge Tohram Quasangi
I kicked in 100gp to the total for iron goods. - Post 5068
Glad to hear that we also purchased some booze.
Jax Naismith
Hm..thought we had all pitched in only 20. Ah well.
That's: Xen 20, Jax 20, Cimu 60, Judge 100+ 360 from the selling of Bref's hat. And possibly (I had thought) another 20 from Edmin. Edmin didn't end up buying that greatsword, remember? Due to him getting his axe back a few posts later.
..wow that's actually a fair bit of metal: 560 gp?
Xenfal
oops read gameplay first ignore my gameplay post
could we give them a single case of weapons as well?

Yeah...that seems a terrible idea :P
Perhaps we could try bluffing him into thinking its worth less than it is?
Judge Tohram Quasangi
The thing is, we are getting 3x our money for any metal items. If we are only getting 3x on the tusk, then is it really worth anything extra? Unless someone takes craft wand or craft staff?
Judge Tohram Quasangi
Edmin - did you sell anything? You have 3 suits of armor, and about a dozen weapons listed on your character sheet. Just trying to figure if anything might be sellable. Same for the rest of you. Check your characters. If there is nothing, then lets bargain. We get 3x either way and are going to be spending a lot of time on the trail, so I think that getting rid of useless stuff could be useful.
Edmin Al'Roth
Seems I kept my chainmail to give the squire but since that did not happen it should have been sold. 75 gold there. Do we have horses? I have one on my sheet.
Jax Naismith
Jax has a couple of bear traps that he's yet to use? That's only like 10gp each though, if they're interested in such things.
Xenfal
I still say if we want the horn we give them a small case of weapons. we have an entire boat filled with them.
Dm how many do we have? 50?
I don't think a single unit of poorly armed bug bears will make a difference and once we kill a talingarde unit with our well armed bug bears, suddenly the poorly armed unit is well armed.
Jax Naismith
Xen, keep in mind we are dropping the crates off to another knot--not directly to the bugbears. So a group will know that a case is missing.
Douglas Muir 406
You don't have any horses (unless you spent money to buy one at some point).
As noted, the Yutak have no interest in armor. Right now they're just asking for metal tools and weapons that they can use -- spearheads and knives. If you can think of something else they might like, go for it.
Bear traps -- hey, good idea. The Yutak have their own methods for dealing with bears but they are intrigued by these odd devices. They'll buy them at 2 for 1, or 20 gp each.

Even better is the kid fixing to shoot the guy in flip flops. Classic Middle Eastern fighting technique. They must have a school for that.

As a bonus during this interlude, a video of my friend Casey that she just did that I wanted to share with you players and readers.
She's also Russian and a year older. No she does not role play.
