Yeah Janiya should probably be the face with her +10 Diplomacy bonus. Bards are good for that. Kargen is probably a decent backup

I think the same, Janiya as partyface and kargen as backup.
Probably i have the highest perception and next level the highest sense motive too. We can nearly always give the acting people aid another to help them, which we should i think.

Actually Hawkwren has +11(+13 vs Human) Perception. BTW Kargen did you want any of the weapons I picked up?

The bow would be a backup weapon. Arrows would be useful replacements.

According to the Society rules, you would have to buy it at the end of the Scenario. You can't keep salvaged items after the scenario is over.

And at the end, we both can buy it. So it's all good.

when the scenario is over if you have enough gold you can buy a composite longbow that matches your strength score. Or a MW Composite bow, or a +1 composite bow, if you have the gold

No, I have the correct mission. I was just acting in the assumption that Dalard didn't know I was a Pathfinder. Janiya looks to have it under control though.

YES, especially older scenarios. They added some factions later

Yeah, but I had a GM who wouldn't give me faction credit for a scenario because the other guy in my faction dealt the killing blow to our assassination target.

Some DMs are complete idiots... thankfully they are a minority. The same minority that think the game is Us Vs Them and that the GM's goal is to beat the player.

in the early PSF there were only 5 factions, so it is possible for 2 different factions to get the same mission.

Unless your faction mission specifically says that it is to remain secret from the other player characters I allow the entire party to help complete them.

I bet this is pretty much all we can get at the moment. Most PFS scenarios have the missions develop as the scenario progresses, though usually there is a 'moment'. This is pretty early for that moment to be here. I'm actually surprised you guys have uncovered as much as you have.

If all else fails, I'll save a charm person. Not something to go around casting in public though, if you ask me. But I fully intend to utilize charm person for my faction mission, so why not just mind-control the whole town? Makes things easy.

Did a quick run down on Nestor's profile. He seems to have vanished from all his games, both GM and player. It could be some extended Thanksgiving break, I suppose.

I'm willing to let it wait a little longer mostly because the alternative is probably to just drop the game. Unless someone wants to take it up or knows of a GM willing to come in and take it over, that is.

I can honestly say I am not without sin in this issue - running two PbP PFS games atm and needed some time for international/business travel for a week but at least I warned my players and touched base with them on occasion.

I'll give it a few days more then just ignore the fact I ever started. No chronicle = this never happened.

Lets sit for a few days, give the GM a chance but if worse comes to worse we can either go to ask one of the other PFS GMs to take over or if worse comes to DEAD SET worse, I *may* remove my character and take over where the GM left off. I am not sure how legal that is though.

I might consider GMing this too. I've been interested in GMing in the past, but this would be my first attempt.

Tomorrow I will be on travel for a business trip - posts may be delayed. Please feel free to NPC bot me if the GM returns if I don't post in a timely manner so as to not lose momentum.

That said, want to visit the town healer, shaman, herb woman etc to a) get the dog bite seen to, b) double check the herb I've been pointed to is what I am looking for as "Crones Tongue" as I've been told on one hand Vintiers use it to season wine barrels but the local barmaid told me it was good for compresses. Its possible its both but want to make sure.
