Daren, Gweenth, Freja, Finn:
all of you come up to several tables two of which are taken by Daren, and gweenth. shapes and a box in them. choosing one you see its a puzzle that you need to place them in correctly to move on. Gweenth appears to be having trouble as well as Daren.

pass- DC 15 intelligence or DC 17 wisdom check.
fail- nothing, cant continue.

Gweenth Wis Chk: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14

Freja if you use heal (cure light wounds) you lose your action for the round. looking doesn't however. you notice that Daren appears hurt fairly badly.

Mor, Virid:

you run up after crossing the pole bridge to a long pathway, you see three posts in the air all three with spines running along the length. the first one is tall, the second one short and the third one is tall again. as your running you hear Brock yell "I'm glad you didn't bet me, hahahah!!!"

pass- DC 10, 10, 10 to go, under, then over, then under again.

fail- take d3 dmg for each fail. no rerolls or lose place in competition for fails, everyone makes it through even if take dmg.

Pole bridge, Brock, Oalin:

As you hop over the wall you see a path leading to a pole with water underneath, bridging in-between. you need to balance on it to pass, the pole is 30 ft long. Oalin Brock is seeming to start to having a smile on his face. "WE prolly arnt going to win eh, Oalin." he says as he tries again.

to pass-
DC 14 acrobatics, to move across the pole.

if failed-
less than 5, you need to spend next round swimming back to the beginning, dc 10, if failed swim check, need to retry swim next round.
by more than 5, you are close enough to the edge of the water to try the pole again next round. (because your balance sucks that bad.)

Brock acrobatics: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (14) + 2 = 16

Brock, strength.: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (6) + 4 = 10

Brock appears to make it, almost gets to the other side, and stops. "come on," he says as he reaches down to help Oalin up. gritting he tries to lift you up only to fall into the water. he comes up and starts laughing as he tries to swim back to the shore.

Feeling slightly winded, Virid considered pausing to rest a moment, but changes his mind when he sees Mor slipping right past the next obstacles.

Virid is heartened to see that he’s caught up to the rest of the group.

Virid gazes in admiration at her departing form before shaking himself free and focusing on the task at hand.
It’s...a puzzle. These things usually start with...well, Gweenth’s is already done...

Daren's frustration reaches a new high as the woman next to him finishes the puzzle and rushes off. He goes to grab the puzzle to see how to do it, but decides to not do so when he notices everyone's staring at it. Relenting to just staring at the item, Daren failingly tries to copy it from the awkward angle.

up ahead you see Gweenth come to a swinging rope with water underneath. apparently you have to jump when the rope is swinging towards you, hold on then let go on the other side. Gweenth runs up to it as if she wont even stop, jumping with all her strength she hits the rope swings to the other side before letting go...`

Looking ahead from the rope swing you see that there is a uphill track towards a Finish line with red ribbons. one final footrace to the end....

pass-
first you need a Dex chk DC 15, then a strength check DC 8 to hold on.

Fail- retry, the water is not deep enough to swim back you can immediately retry on next turn.

As both Freya and Finn run off after figuring out the puzzle way too fast, Daren grabs up one of their puzzles and blatantly puts it next to his to try and copy it. However, it seems their puzzles aren't quite the same, and Daren fails to see how it was put together at all.

Int: 1d20 ⇒ 20

At his limit, Daren slams the puzzle on the table and goes to skip the stupid thing and head after the others, only to notice that the pieces bounce up from the force of the slam and fall right into place. Not one to miss an opportunity, Daren rushes off.

"Take that!" His collected attitude has definitely been lost back there.

I find that electronics tend to work after a slam or two. Also apparently puzzles.

A moment of thoughtfulness crosses Virid’s face. Without even trying, he places the puzzle back down and lopes off down the path.
The dwarf never said anything about actually doing puzzles. Just that we needed to reach the end first. Hopefully he appreciates some clever thinking.

Daren tries again, but as the rope comes at him, he fails to snatch it as he leaps for it. Landing in the water on his back, Daren lies there a moment, surprised to find his frustration starting to ease rather than grow. I guess I just don't care anymore.

You see several puzzles completed on tables in fort of you, others are not completed apparently you have to complete a puzzle to move forward. Brock tries to complete it but slams the puzzle on the ground.

this uphill run starts easy then gets progressively tougher the further up you go. Gweenth is still catching her breath she must be exhausted.
pass- Single DC 10 con chk.
fail- cant move forward to try the next check. (there are three)

Gweenth con: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7

daren:

you see up ahead apparently you have to jump when the rope is swinging towards you, hold on then let go on the other side. Looking ahead from the rope swing you see that there is a uphill track towards a Finish line with red ribbons. one final footrace to the end....

pass-
first you need a Dex chk DC 15, then a strength check DC 8 to hold on.
Fail- retry, the water is not deep enough to swim back you can immediately retry on next turn.

You see several puzzles completed on tables in fort of you, others are not completed apparently you have to complete a puzzle to move forward. Brock tries to complete it but slams the puzzle on the ground. picking them up brock happen to put them together correctly. "haha"

perception chk DC 15 to get a +2 bonus on the Int or wisdom roll;
pass- DC 15 intelligence or DC 17 wisdom check.
fail- nothing, cant continue.
