He escorts the man as an honored guest, though he assumes Simon will know how to cover his visage as so many of his Clan do...
Then, once ensconced in his private study with paper and ink to write upon, they work ... while he hopes to win the man's vote, he truly hopes to do well by the music, to make a hymn that uplifts the spirit and glorifies God. Simon and he are united in that much.

You wake to the sounds of the camp being broken down. However, the sight of it confounds you. The knights remove all of their armor and their weapons, indeed any semblance of the Tabards they wore overnight and place them near the campfire in a neat pile.
Once again Claudio and Sergei are having a discussion away from the rest of the men.
Brice, the man who seemed to be a servant or henchman of Sergei approaches you with some bread and cheese to break your fast. ”We let you sleep in a bit as you seemed tired. Here is some food. Most of the men are headed into the city. I would suggest getting your horses prepared and joining them”.

During the day you sleep fitfully. The sound of hammering disturbs your dreams, perhaps this is a dream about woodworking something you may never do again as part of this life though your “Sire” seemed to be interested in your skills.
As you stir for the first full night of your new existence you find that Adria is not with you. Stepping into your kitchen you see her sitting at the table with a glass of wine looking at it longingly. On the table next to her is an envelope. She turns to you, ”Someone left this under your front door I guess during the day”.

The dark covers that shade you from the window and also those that cover your sleeping form become darker and darker until gradually, you sense the light that prevents you from consciousness dissipate.
A new night full of new possibilities. Will this night change all future nights and your fortunes, time will tell. You know that you will need to head to Court and observe the formalities but what gnaws at you is whether you will act tonight or tomorrow night…
Petradon is downstairs speaking with another Cainite in the common room of the Inn that “belongs” to the Nosferatu, at least until this Conclave draws to a close. He flags you down, ”Onfroi, come, sit down. You know Violetta”. She turns and you of course recognize her know, as beautiful as you are ugly. For the first time in centuries you are her equal, or at least you are now both Cainites. She smiles at you, ”Well met my old friend”.
