Ack!
The ravens spoke to me last night. They were in my dreams, hounding me, trying to steer me to a new course.
I've thought more about the campaign and the character that I think would be fun to bring in and I've changed Ravens build a bit...to something more roleplaying focused (at least in my mind). I'm excited how this new character will allow me to get involved in some different things in the campaign.
His updated alias is up (and I'll work on formatting it better today) and a new copy has been sent to DM Olondir.

Question on whatever Bregan's gotten himself into...
Are these the Mithril Falcons (from the recruitment thread) or...?
The blond haired one in a breastplate, Lionel, looks at you and Peitros.
"Wit him? This bastard? Saves the boy's life now he gets to be even MORE than a hero?" He carries a longsword and a crested shield only you don't know what house that symbol belongs to.
"Shut up, Lionel." A stern feminine voice perks up at the end of the row of people. A dark red robed, tan-skinned lady with black hair and slightly pointed ears looks to Lionel. "You're only here because of your family's gift for finances." She looks at you.

Peeked at Tiomir while I was hunting for a description of his appearance upon meeting him.
Noticed his longbow was listed at 1d8 and dagger at 1d4 damage - medium sized weapons. Not sure if this was intended, or a mistake?
I'm sure I have mistakes of my own buried away, but figured I'd try to spot errors when I could - while I failed miserably when I peeked at Valeska.

OK, I guess I'll look for the 3 unnamed guys or Melisa... err, the red-robed woman to get to know them better during the reception.
More questions on Tiomir - I noticed you had a bunch of languages with a 14 Int, so was curious how and spotted the gnome racial trait that gives an extra one with every rank invested. Very nice.
I still counted one extra... (seemed you maybe would have 6 not 7?)
I also think Rufus should have better skills? Don't you get to put a rank into 4 of his skills? So there would likely be at least 4 skills at 4+ (1R+3C+ability modifier).
Sorry for poking around your characters, you guys are more than welcome to scrub mine for my mistakes.

Meant to be 7, though.
3 for being a gnome (Common, Gnome, Sylvan)2 from Int modifier (Dwarven, Elven)
2 from linguistics with trait (Celestial, Draconic).

I thought you were Str 16 last night!
I realized in my dream (taunted by ravens) that I couldn't be the wise, sneaky, somewhat-talkative character that I'd like to play if I put so much into strength.
I'd rather have a bit o' brains and charisma rather than thump in combat figuring that you, Vishoon, and the puppy would be plenty.
I think I've developed a solid preference for vocal and motivated characters in PbP rather than not...and I just felt I could do that better with this newer build.
Down the line if we need more combat punch, I'll take weapon finesse and it'll work out. I can't imagine that being necessary.
Ravens the Birdmaster
Oh! I'm happy with the change. Now we can make party decisions by arm-wrestling. I was nervous with that approach, before.
Oh that's a good idea.
Here let me prepare your wine before your next match...
..uh, yeah, it's a new vintage...it *should* have a funny aftertaste, that's normal...yeah, that's it, now drink up...
Ser Bregan Stone
I might be wrong (haven't played a summoner yet, but I always keep my eye on those sneaky types...)
But there is this:
The following skills are class skills for eidolons: Bluff (Cha), Craft (Int), Knowledge (planes) (Int), Perception (Wis), Sense Motive (Wis), and Stealth (Dex). In addition, at 1st level, the summoner can choose 4 additional skills to be class skills for his eidolon.
So I read that as you get all those class skills, pick any 4 you want to add on top of that. Then you get 4 skill ranks to put into them, just like any other character.
It's one of the first things I noticed in a lot of games... eidolons were very skilled.

I waved at you.
Best Wishes, Bregan
Oh, wait! You mean, I'm Garrick Stone?!
Oh yeah! I'll be right over...thanks for the kick in the jimmies.
Edit: A'ight, Ser Bregan, I edited my previous post.

I could use some more details on Bregan's responsibilities...
1. Is the place he's supposed to deal with bandits the Glenborne or the Glenborn? (I saw it was Glenborn Uplands for the 'Wraiths, and the group Bregan's supposed to be in was The Glenborne).
2. What does Bregan know of this area, if anything? What was he told about the area, if anything?
3. Peitros said "rid us of bandits". Is that it then? Just ride around dealing with bandits? Capturing them, and trying them? Or they all just get hung upon capture without a trial?
4. Lionel the red-robed woman and 3 unnamed guys. Is this it -- Does Bregan have discretion to bring along others with talents missing from his group? Does he have the ability to offer them any pay?
5. How long before he's supposed to leave? Is this his last day in town before he sets off, or does he have a few days, a week, several weeks?
I've just assumed he will be leaving anywhere from a day to a few days out, which is why he feels some urgency. And that he may have also identified some weaknesses in his group, which is why he's hunting Ravens down.
(i.e. I'm imagining Mormount heading north of the wall, and wanting a maester to come along to send ravens with letters back that describe his discoveries and actions).

Of course Ser Bregan. I didn't mean to leave you out in the cold. I must admit when I planned this campaign I was going to have none of you start out in the expedition, but your story compelled me to change that. Honestly, everyone, I do overlook things and make mistakes when slowing down my brain and trying to write coherent sentences so forgive me if I miss something critical to tell you.
1.)I'm totally retarded and mixed things up about this part. First, I can't read and it is the Glenebon Uplands that the 'Wraiths are exploring. Second, you are going to the Greenbelt. You're requested to fully explore the Greenbelt, which includes the construction of a detailed map. Simply walking through the wilderness and jotting down a few notes makes a good start toward this goal. You are also tasked to stop banditry and unlawful behavior. You are given permission to kill if necessary.
by the Swordlords of Restov, acting upon the greater good and
authority vested within them by the office of the Regent of the
Dragonscale Throne, has granted the right of exploration and travel
within the wilderness region known as the Greenbelt. Exploration
should be limited to an area no further than thirty-six miles east and
west and sixty miles south of Oleg’s Trading Post. The carrier of
this charter should also strive against banditry and other unlawful
behavior to be encountered. The punishment for unrepentant banditry
remains, as always, execution by sword or rope. So witnessed on this
20th day of Erastus, under watchful eye of the Lordship of Restov
and authority granted by Lord Noleski Surtova, current Regent of
the Dragonscale Throne.
2.) The Stolen Lands and Greenbelt are lands that border Brevoy to the south. In fact, your expedition will be the closest to Brevoy than any other. You know these lands have little oddities, thick forests, rugged hills, ancient ruins, and home to all sorts of creatures. Since you have been traveling you've heard a few folklorish tales about lost loved ones, were-wolves, trolls, vampires, ghosts, and vampire-werewolf-troll ghosts. Most of these are told around campfires to scare children, though. It is mostly just a very rugged land that is well known for its tenacity to avoid pacification.
3.)Answered in question 1, I think.
4.)You are allowed to keep what you find. Brevoy is more interested in getting this place mapped out and pacified than filling their coffers with bandit money. (For now.)
5.)You won't be leaving until the near the very end of Erastus.
If you or anyone have any other questions please please let me know. I'll be happy to answer them. I understand if you need things to go on that I neglected to explain.
Ser Bregan Stone
Yep, no worries. Just pretend very time Bregar said or thought 'Glenborne' that he instead said 'Greenbelt'.
Now that I know it's The Greenbelt, I feel like it's a less alien area, since it coincides what characters should know from the Player's Guide.
Also knowing that he has a week before he sets out is helpful, it takes some of the urgency out, maybe he'll relax at the wedding reception a little more, now.
EDIT - Bruthazmus eh? He should be on Vishoon's list :)
Ravens the Birdmaster
Hahaha! Oh boy! I'd rather let you two figure that out :)
Ack! Don't leave me hanging here! I just poured my heart out to the Master! Give me a bit about the Greenbelt, a little something so when I go crawling back to "Ser" BigButt Stone I'm not a complete failure.
ACK!

Games list... You do not have to play all of them. Also, if you have a good idea for a game that it is not on the list but you'd like to play. let me know.
I hope it's acceptable that that Bregan has chosen as the game he'd like to play --
'Make Ravens run around the reception asking about The Greenbelt'
Although I'd suspect the score is Ravens 2, Bregan 0 at the moment.

Tormenting Ravens is apparently the great Brevish past time...
too bad it seems Syra has the high score though.
Off-topic: The Dwarf Fortress of Bronze Murder. I love this video game and I'm quite entertained by the thoughts of running an all-dwarf flavored Kingmaker game. We'd discuss where you'd settle and build a town and get an economy going and you guys fend off monsters/go on adventures and have fun! Here is the follow comic based around the fort called oilfurnace.

Syra doesn't have the high score. I'm pretty sure Ravens has the high score.

I will be using all of them! Thank you.
I'll go ahead and post up the midday festival stuff and then you can go to the ogre smasher and isnta-win that with another amazing roll, Areanna can flirt/demolish any other would-be competition with her "Make the DM roll bad" cantrip she apparently knows, Valeska and Tiomir can keep having interesting discussions, and Ravens/Ser Bregan drama can continue. :)
This is shaping up to be a very interesting game!

Agreed.
I'm not going to get a chance to get my Harrow read by Valeska, am I? I can wonder off and come back...but did want to meet her & the raven.
Right now, Ravens is waiting outside.
Whatever works best.
Ser Bregan Stone
the crowd favorites are the leaders of each group. Vladimir Wolkov of the Iron Wraiths, Maegar Varn of the Steel Banshees, Fletcher Williams of the Copper Claws, and Lionel Warmont of the Mithral Falcons.
Ack, for some reason I thought Bregan was in charge of the last group. I think I'll go ahead and RP it that Bregan thought this as well, it's more entertaining that way.
Ravens the Birdmaster
Yeah that would work great. You are the last to join the group and the favorite of Peitros but unfortunately not the official leader. The pretty boy who can't shoot worth a damn is the on-paper leader.
Valeska that was an intense reading! I can't wait to see how this all pans out.
Yeah! Great reading.
I'll need a bit of time to respond appropriately as I have work call shortly that should take an hour...but I'll be pondering how to respond in kind.

Actually...after this reading of the damned, I think I'm ready go back to soaking up a 1000 pints and try to forget all about this!
