Let's sell Drosil's shortbow, and Anton can have the 20 arrows. If anyone would like to redistribute any of the consumables on Drosil's sheet, feel free.

As far as Drosil's 1000 gold, I'm tempted to either invest in +1 studded leather armor, or copy Anton.

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

I think Janos will save his cash for upgrading his armor later.

Edit: Actually Janos is still suffering from drained Con. That'd be 280gp to find a 7th level cleric to cast the Restoration spell. But is there a 7th level cleric here?

The local high priest of Pharasma can do it.

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

Excellent. Then that's what Janos and Kendra go and do while the rest of them are shopping.

So 280gp for the spellcasting service + 100gp for the materials = 380gp spent.

If I have time later I'll put up a post on it, but otherwise I'm ready to go.

Female Human (Chelaxian) Bard (Diva) 8 | HP 51 | AC 19 FF 17 T13 | Saves +3/+8/+6 | Init + 8 | Percep +11

I just double checked, B'yelka's Mithy BP will run 4200gold! lol Can I take back my previous generosity as I begin saving up? I also would like some Muleback Cords (to enhance B'yelka's "Ultimate Warrior" Persona ;) ) and eventually move up to Mithy Full Plate :p

Jelani, how do you want to handle finding so rare and wonderful an item as a Mithy BP? Is there even one available in Lepistadt, or will we have to go on to Caliphas first?

Mithral BP: 1d100 ⇒ 49

There is one available in Lepidstadt.

Female Human (Chelaxian) Bard (Diva) 8 | HP 51 | AC 19 FF 17 T13 | Saves +3/+8/+6 | Init + 8 | Percep +11

lol Now yer just bein' spiteful! Unless the boys all wanna pitch in (a lot) to get it for me... I have just less than 2k gold... Can I put it on hold? Maybe a lay-away plan?

Or go delve the wealth ridden castle then come back.

Male Fetchling (World Walker) Swashbuckler (Inspired Blade) 8 [ HP 65/76 | AC 29/18T/22FF | Fort +6, Ref +13, Will +3 | Init +7 (+2 with panache) | Perception +10 | Panache: 4/4 ]

...did someone say 'wealth'? Drosil is mightily interested. Just make sure nobody buys that mithral BP before we get back, okay, DMJ? *wink*

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

I believe we just got approval to loot the castle! Don't mind us, Aaron, we're just taking this bed and paintings. BTW, know any of your father's secret stashes?

Male Human Paladin 8 | HP 36/53 (68)| AC 18 FF 15 T13 | Saves +11/+10/+10 | Init + 4 | Percep + 2 | Dip +14 | SM +10 | KR +6 | Heal +3 | HA +7 | HePo =0

At the risk of being all paladin-like again, I don't think we can go in to the castle and rob the place :/

Unless whoever is there tries to kill us of course

Well, this is an adventure, so the chances of that are like...90%+

I'll roll the standard 75% chance for something worth less than 6000 GP to be available again when we get back to town. Most likely it will be. If not, it might be again after a week.

Male Human Witch 7 | HP 44 | AC 14 (18 w/ Mage Armor) FF 12 T 14 | Saves F+3/R+5/W+4 | Init + 5 | Percep +7

Tibideau needs to start saving for his Headband of Vast Intelligence. So he can be smarter than Dantrian once and for all!

I'll be moving back to the States on Friday and over the course of next week be catching up with family. Expect me to be gone completely over the weekend and intermittent at best until the 8th.

Hey guys, I'll be away on an annual camping trip this weekend. I'll be leaving mid afternoon on Thursday and won't be back until Sunday night, though work and life have been frustrating enough of late that I may decide to stay an extra day.

Anyway, there's no cell reception or internet or anything at the mountain top cabin we'll be staying at, so I'll be offline for the duration of the trip.

And less you think me an outdoorsman or somesuch, it's me and 5 buddies from college who get together to play an ongoing campaign that started back in ye olde days of D&D 3.0. =D

Female Human (Chelaxian) Bard (Diva) 8 | HP 51 | AC 19 FF 17 T13 | Saves +3/+8/+6 | Init + 8 | Percep +11

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

But also allows only a move action to get any of the book out of the bag. For when your GM says you only have 10 seconds to find your argument or he'll rule how he sees fit.

Female Human (Chelaxian) Bard (Diva) 8 | HP 51 | AC 19 FF 17 T13 | Saves +3/+8/+6 | Init + 8 | Percep +11

But the Haversack puts in your hand exactly what you need! So, even better than a PH! :D

So the ongoing campaign I've been running for my group has been The Wrath of the Righteous. We started last year with two guys missing, so I ran their own little solo intro for them over Roll20 a couple of weeks ago.

We picked up with both groups joining up together as they just so happened to both return to Kenabres at the same time.

We were only able to play one single day (all of Friday) and the group managed to get up to the assault on the Grey Garrison. Four real-world hours after starting their assault on the place and they still weren't able to get through the front door!

They had tried to get in through the only other entry way, alerted the denizens of the adjoining room of their presence (thereby alerting the entire complex), then retreated and spent 10 in-game minutes trying to open the front door again. By the time it opened, a hearty welcoming committee had been gathered and kept them from getting inside pretty effectively. I have managed to instill in my players a deep and abiding hatred of dretches and stinking cloud. =P

I had hoped to wrap up the first book of the AP, but we ran out of time.

Oh my! My Wrath PBP group is still under Kenabres.

Having lost two table top PCs in the past month, this question is on my mind.

How are we going to handle Character Death? That is, assuming Raise, et al is not possible.

Raise should be within the party grasp at this point, if a bit expensive. Otherwise, a new PC will be brought in as soon as possible.

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

We've really reached the point where everyone's so invested in not only their own characters but everyone else's that it's a shame if anyone dies. I would see us doing everything we can to raise the person.

Yeah well, it would suck, but in a way it would drive home how dangerous what you're doing is. We had a death in a Age of Worms group that's pretty tight, and we ended up reincarnating that character because we weren't high enough level to raise her and the player didn't want to make a new character.

Half-Elf Spirit Ranger 8 (HP 33/68; F+8, R+8, W+4 (+1 vs. Arcane); AC 25/12/23; Perception +18, Sense Motive +2, Initiative +2)

There's an opening in my Mummy's Mask game if anyone is interested. It's GM'ed by Lucendar, a regular on the boards, though it has been slow through the first part. We're only starting the second tomb, so you haven't missed much. We're really looking for a fighter-type. Currently I'm a melee Ancestors Oracle and I'm the best we have.

Let me know if you're interested and I'll give you the link.

Here's the gameplay thread, B'yelka. Currently, we have a melee Oracle (me), Archaeologist Bard, Cleric, and an Arcanist. Our Magus dropped. Like I said, someone with some tanky-ness would be appreciated.

Let me know if you have any questions.

Background:
--------------------
Maybe it was bad luck, or maybe it was fate. Pharasma teaches that everything that happens to us is by fate; there are no coincidences. So it is that I came into The Lady of Graves service. Some would say I was sold, some would be so kind as to say 'traded'. The truth is that the Lady called and fate delivered me to her. Since I was young I was trained to hunt and destroy the things that denied her judgment, or things that were simple hollow shells of what they were. My first real task was to expose and slay a necromancer that near where I was raised. Frightened, but resolute, I sought out this heretic and eventually slew him. The fight itself was heartbreaking. I could not believe the man that I was sent to slay was my own blood. My own brother. Once I had his head and the corpse had been burned I returned to the Grand Cathedral in Almas I also offered my resignation. I stood before the three high priests and demanded to be released from my thralldom. Birth and Death scoffed, 'as if I were allowed to deny the will of The Lady!' But, Prophecy's dry whisper broke through the noise, "She will serve. But she is needed elsewhere-and soon." He ignored the other two Priest's and their objections, turned to me and stared into my eyes. I tried not to flinch, but I saw reflected in his eyes what he was seeing. A land of shambling corpses, empty graves and unhallowed undeath. He whispered again, "Yes, go there and bring Pharasma's grace, or die yourself. I cannot see which is your fate. The Lady has turned away from me now."

Rationale:

The Ranger Level seems misplaced, except that I wanted her to use a Scythe. Inq's aren't naturally proficient, so... I went ranger because it did not exacerbate any MAD issues. Plus, the Favored Enemy (Undead) is pretty nice :)

Intimidating Performance

Your performance strikes fear in the hearts of foes.

Prerequisites: Ability to start a performance (or raging song) as a move action, bardic performance or raging song class feature.

Benefit: When you start a performance (or a raging song) as a move or swift action, you can use a standard action to demoralize a foe (Core Rulebook 99), attempting a Perform check appropriate to your performance in place of the Intimidate check. Your performance must be one with an audible component.

If you can start a performance as a swift action and you have the Dazzling Display feat, you can gain the benefit of Dazzling Display by succeeding at a Perform check in place of an Intimidate check.
