Ha! Jarrek talks a lot of smack. He doesn't have any craft skill and no Int mod to speak of but I'll say he went ahead and took a shot at it.

Precise bombs to exclude Jarrek and Trianne and the boat from the blast. If the explosive bomb hits, the target is on fire, taking 1d6 fire damage each round until extinguished with a full round action and a reflex save DC 16. Rolling on the ground provides a +2, dousing with at least 2 gallons of water extinguishes the flames.

She kept her casting wits about her though, even as her eyes traveled the back trail of the arrow’s flight to the tall, slender human woman with longish brown hair. Her! Trianne thought she would find the woman wearing a chain shirt as well, fitting the descriptor of their stowaway spy.

She completed the spell and laid fingers on Haftor, already moving away from the dwarf now doubling in size. She immediately went into another casting, the power coursing through her. With a hiss of words, she dissolved from sight completely and then began making her way inland.

As the orcs rushed past to engage, Trianne curved back around in their wake. She flicked her gaze back and forth between the melee and her target for only a moment before darting into the underbrush, dagger coming to hand. She didn’t want to leave them in the lurch, but they had to take this chance. Trianne didn’t think the spy would lurk around much longer, especially if the orcs kept dropping.

Giant Haftor can't help but smile through his beard as he enjoys his increased size. He completes the massive swing of his stone hammer, pivots his hips a bit, then swings back in the other direction, focusing first on the enemy to his right, then following through to attack the next in the row.

That's a hit, Haftor. Did you want to go with a Cleave, since your AoO with Cleave was last round and the orcs are all bunched up? Also, I think the hammer is normally a d8 weapon, and a Medium d8 weapon becomes a 2d6 weapon when Large.

Badly injured, the gnome tosses a bomb at the last unwounded orc, then drops prone in the boat.

Bomb vs. blue orc, keeping Haftor out of the blast: 1d20 + 1 + 10 + 1 ⇒ (17) + 1 + 10 + 1 = 29
Bomb damage: 2d6 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (6, 4) + 4 + 1 = 15

Incidentally, Seamus, you have your bomb damage written two different ways (3d6 and 2d6), and I'm not sure how you get 3d6 at 4th level.

The two wounded orcs expire from the splash damage, and the blue orc is wounded to the point of running on rage. It staggers forward, on fire, and chops at Haftor, missing badly.

Then the woman acts. This time, she doesn't advance, but instead looses three arrows at the dwarf with blinding speed. The first one finds a narrow gap in the armor protecting his torso and punctures a lung; as Haftor folds up, the other two arrows go over his head. Haftor, take 40 HP. She's rolled two nat 20s and confirmed them both (though the second one was only because Haftor was big, and had just used Cleave).

As Haftor falls, she shouts in exultation, "THAT'S TWO FOR SKREED, YOU BASTARDS!"

Seeing the last archer still standing, Seamus stays crouched in the bottom of the boat, reaching into his pouch and holding a bead in his hand. Focusing a moment, the bead's magic refills the extract he'd just used on Jarrek and crawls over to Haftor, preparing to heal the dwarf.

Use boro bead to refill his cure light wounds infusion. For the bomb damage it is 2d6+ for the regular bomb, +1d6 for explosive bomb which transfers the damage to being all fire.

Rise of the Runelords Pt2|RotRL Pt 3| Giantslayer|Emerald Spire| CORE Emerald Spire

My understanding is that the d6 fire damage starts accruing at the target's next action, like the burn special ability, but if you have a reference that contradicts that I'll accept it.

Skreed. So much became clear when Trianne heard the woman shriek her defiance. So many thoughts raced through the transmuter's head in possibility. Foremost among them was if the woman had used Skreed's locket to track them.

Trianne shunted all the speculation aside with cold force and retained her original plan as she closed on their attacker. Somehow the magic she chose seemed even more fitting now. Bringing the dark energies to bear, she could feel the draining force of it and reached out to empower the woman's anguish.

If I have the timing issues correct, Trianne would use her upcoming round Swift action slot to cast Windy Escape as an Immediate Action now for DR 10/magic against the attack. So she would take 3 HP instead…unless the arrow is magical.

Trianne hopped back from the woman, trying to clear the field of fire for Svarog as best she was able. Words of power were again spilling from her mouth as she moved, but this time the energy coalesced into a snaking rope between the two women as Trianne tried to suck the very breath from her enemy’s lungs.

As they struggled with the magics, the transmuter reached back and fished a potion from the ever-ready pack hanging on her back in anticipation of her next attack.

5’ Step N’ w/ Nimble. Cast Steal Breath. Move action to draw an Alchemist’s Fire to hand.

I'm going to be out of town this weekend, so I'll post now for my turn later. I don't want to hold things up.

Haftor sits up and spits blood over the side of the boat. "That stung a mite." He grunts, grabbing the nearby bench and heaving himself up onto his feet. "Right then, let's wrap this up."

He places a hand over the oozing wound in his chest and casts a quick spell.

CLW 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (5) + 4 = 9

OK - Haftor is now at 17 HP

Trianne reflexively ducked as Svarog’s arrows sailed by, missing her chance to identify what spell had been cast by her opponent. As she rose, she hurled the liquid fire at their assailant before withdrawing a little further and reloading from her pack.

Don't forget the penalty for moving.

The woman starts with attacking Trianne. The wizard falls to her first arrow (it looks like 17 damage will take you to -1, and you don't want her to continue attacking you), so she turns her attention to the ranger. Her first arrow misses completely, but her second arrow is terrifyingly on target. Svarog, take 31 HP, and you're up.

An arrow to the throat was more trouble than Svarog had been expecting from the stranger. Unable even to let out a dying roar as was the way of his people, he let out a strangled, gurgling hiss instead. Dropping his bow in the boat, he charged toward this unexpected nemesis, drawing his sword in a skirl of steel, teeth stained red in a vicious snarl of defiance.

If it looks like Haftor was about to charge to where I moved Svarog, he'll just veer to the side, even if he doesn't get close enough to attack - I doubt this hits anyway. And he can't die without a blade in hand! Tres declassé.
