Jokum just bellows in laughter as the babaus' claws bounce off his glowing skin. "Looks like you've bitten off more than you can chew, fiends!" The few minor scratches they were able to inflict close up even as he swings again.

Attacking Red 3! Do their claws count as unholy damage? I'm assuming no.

Attack!: 1d20 + 9 + 2 + 4 ⇒ (4) + 9 + 2 + 4 = 19

The next demon to attack tries to do the same. Again, only a tiny scratch is the result. 1 damage in total!

The third babau's attacks prove to be absolutely useless. Neither one of its' claws do any damage. No damage from either!

Voren is surprised that he had manage to resist all of that. He also feels the small scratches stitching back together. He then decides to take the offensive!

I'll say that Voren is still holding the wand and the mace.

He takes the mace and swings it at the first babau!

DM Camris Two questions - Do I need to roll for the acid when the Blackblade is immune to the Broken condition so long as its pool is full? Also the blackblade being a +1 weapon it also has the hardness of a Steel weapon (10), which the 1d8 will not break through hence the questions. Granted I don't mind just trying to save on empty rolls. But if you want me to roll them please ignore the Critical haha. :)

But Karthak puts too much force into the blow, missing widely and spinning himself all the way around.

An excellent question, Karthak! Though I'd need to push him to get him to attack the demons, and if it doesn't he'd get slaughtered...if it does, then by all means he'll be joining in!

Jokum continues to laugh as the demons' claws bounce off his flesh. Seeing the acid covering their skin, he shrugs and tosses down his sword. Okay. That's 19 damage. With Regeneration, that reduces to 14.

Voren grunts as he takes all of the claws. However, while it does some damage, the damage is significantly weaker. He looks at the babaus surrounding him. He shouts to the others, "They're trying to surround us so they get a better shot at us!" He glares at the demon on his right and his eyes glow green. The babau begins to feel drowsy.

Round 3 Actions
Standard Action: Use Slumber Hex on babau A. If successful, the demon is asleep for 4 rounds. Will Save DC 15 negates this.

I figure that if this work, it removes one of the demons that's at the center of several flanks.

Jokum blinks as one of the babau's claws actually wounds him, but the wound--as well as the damage he took from the acid--disappears too quickly for him to bother pausing. He grins at the demon facing him, but when he sees Voren grappled nearby his face darkens.

"Beast it is, then." And as he focuses on his rage, Jokum grows larger, his face elongating and his muscles bulging, as he becomes an ursine terror. He lets out a bellow and strides toward Voren.

Round 6_________________________________

Danua______
She pressed her attack but was staggered when her criticallyinjured demon slammed her with a pair of fierce strikes. Blood splattered to the ground by her clawed feet and to the demons anger her injuries started to close just as quickly as they were made.
Danua smiled broadly, despite her first strike being lost. Ever fluid her momentum wasn't lost, she casted once more. Calling on her magic to fuel her strikes as she unleashed another strong attack.
And her second strike obliterated the already wounded R6. It burned away like flash paper without even time to scream.

Karthak Ironbreaker______
Karthak suffers some minor injuries and counterattacks, his axe slashing towards Babau R8.
He hit, critically wounding it.

Arthas Sword of Ragathiel______
Arthas QuickDraw shield shifts into position. Whereupon he delivers holy whoopass with a devistating sword and shield combo.
"Your judgement is at hand! Prepare for obliteration in HIS mercy!"
With R6 down, Arthas quickly switched his attacks to R4. And indeed as promised, R4 is obliterated in Radiance’s golden fire.

Jokum of the Breakbones______
Jokum scowls. "Face me, you fiends!" Lunging forward, he tears at the nearest babau.
Jokum takes a 5' step to close with Babau #2 and then full-attacks!
He missed wide with his first attack, but hit with his second for moderate damage.

Voren the Outsider______
Voren sees that Karthak is starting to get worn down. He decides to take a risk. He steps over the sleeping babau and moves to Karthak.
R2 lashed out at Voren, tagging him for 1d6 + 5 ⇒ (1) + 5 = 6 slashing damage.
He ignores the attacks of opportunity from the demons and touches his friend with the wand. [ooc]Healing him for 9.

I am assuming it is okay for a Paladin of Ragathiel to dispatch the sleeping demon, but I will await the DM's ruling before I strike it's head from its shoulders.

Karthak guillotine's Red-A's head from his shoulders as he tried to scrabble away from him. It derezzes in a shower of golden sparks.

From scripture:
As long as the Paladin in question is conscientious about checking for deceptions (like illusions or trickery), Ragathiel gives two thumbs up to slaying sleeping demons any way you can.
The Paladin gift of Detect-Evil-at-a-glance is helpful in such cases.

Detecting transcendent Evil of the power appropriate to a demon of it's class, Arthas beheads the sleeping demon with Radiance just as Voren's power dissipated. It derezzed in a shower of golden sparks, leaving the room clean of enemies.

You all sag back, suddenly exhausted by the effort of destroying more than a score of vicious demons that would normally have been able to cut to pieces a regiment of trained soldiers.

The glow coming off of all of you slowly fades as you feel the holy power drain out of you.
Yet... Not completely.

You feel sleepy...
