I don't think so. I believe that Wellard/Watcher just gets busy. His retirement in a few weeks could effect the pace a bit in a positive direction.

When you say 'large' do you mean in the mechanical sense (horse sized)?

man that -4 kills me. And i just realized i didn't grab point blank as one of my level 1 feats. DM, will i be able to retrain the feat when we get back to town so i can at least precise shot at lv. 3. According to the retraining rules it takes about 5 days and a trainer who has the feat i want to learn. and gp to pay the trainer, though that amount is up to you.

Why the -4 Lori? I don't think anyone has been in melee with it yet.

When I got zapped, I stepped back until I was off the platform (where the sarcophagus was). I think Cerastes did likewise.

Even if I don't get the -4, I don't think the 9 is much better, even against touch

If it is flat footed and large sized, 9 should be enough.

I don't want to seem like a dick, but if DM has left us, I guess i could try to take over if you all want. I can easily get a copy of the pdfs for the books from a friend. If he hasn't, me taking over is always a possibility should he need to step down.

edit: actually, let me cut the crap. I run this for my personal group and I've been roleplaying Lori as best as i can while keeping ooc info out of her posts. I already have all the books and my personal group is ahead of where we are so i already know how to play out some stuff from that.

Hmmmm, I hope everything is ok for Wellard. Was giving Wellard a little more time before I responded to you Lori. He's disappeared abruptly from not just here but all of his games and, take it from me, he has been around for a looooong time. I'd hate to lose Miss Lori as a fellow adventurer but it is looking more and more as if our DM is out of commission for the moment at the very least. Would you prefer to run this game or play? We could look for a replacement DM.

P.S. Lori, I was originally planning on running this AP also. No worries about owning it or running it since it is just expected in a PBP that you'll do your best to keep player and character knowledge separate. I generally only skim my copies anymore before putting them on the shelf which leaves me with very little player knowledge. Heh, and at the glacial pace of a PBP by the time you reach any particular chapter you've probably long forgotten what the heck is going on anyway if you don't refresh your memory.

EDIT: You know, after another moments reflection on this, I think Lori should run it (and her gunslinger) while we are waiting to see if Wellard makes a reappearance. Thanks for offering Lori :) Let's do it!

Completely understandable, I personally was going to wait until monday at the earliest to start just pming you guys about it or something. Believe me, I felt kinda like an ass when I suggested it.

As for if I rather run or play... If only because I know gunslingers aren't that popular of a class I rather run. Also I realized just how much RAW my home group ignores when it comes to gunslingers to make them more viable. I could be stuck later down the line. If everyone wants me to run I'll continue this dungeon and DMPC Lori, then retire her afterwards and discuss if we want to continue with, preferably, 4 or recruit 2 more. I personally don't like parties of 5.

edit: this is of coarse assuming Wellard doesn't come back. Also keep in mind if i don't retire Lori, expect a lot of slack from me with her :I Essentially expect me to never keep track of her ammo and I'll probably never bother keeping track with anyone else ammo. it's paperwork I've never like doing nor making others do.

I'm afraid my ISP deprived me of days worth of online time again..what is worse I'm off tomorrow on Holiday (ironically to play at Paizocon UK this weekend) and will have no internet access for a week...never fear I have not left you..but I do need to recharge my batteries.

I am here. If Lori still wants to take the helm I say we move forward that way. Otherwise I have a feeling this game is going to die on the vine. Wellard has not been seen in a month on any of his games as far as I can tell.

I'm technically still here. I assumed this game had already died, though I'm not opposed to necromancy.

I can't say that I hadn't written it off as well. Like Max, I am also still here if someone wishes to revive it.

I can take over, but know that my work schedule changed with a new job so I can mostly only post on nights and maybe during my lunch breaks if I remember my laptop... which i didn't today.

lol. I was running this path before I joined. I joined because I wanted to play as well. So long as you don't spoil things for the other and keep your OOC knowledge to a minimum I don't care.

P.S. I'm not real sure how many of us are actually going to survive this current encounter which may effect where this game is going...we could play it out and see what happens.
