I'm making the best of what I have, and frankly, this is better than whacking 'em with a big stick.

Agrimar hits creature 2! It too explodes in a splash of glowing green ectoplasm, spattering everyone around it.

Surrounding the last slimer, you stab, slash, whack, disrupt and hex the last one to explosive dissolution, leaving you all spattered with green glowing ectoplasm.

The battle is over. This section is clear.


KENDRA:

Kendra leaned against Ereviss, trembling.
"That was so... so... disgusting!" She said, looking at her clothing.
"Does this usually happen in your adventures?"

Xiuj cackles happily as he scrapes ectoplasmic goo off of everyone who allows it, putting it into a couple of test tubes and capping them off with a snap.


Kendra's dismay is muted as, about a minute later, the ectoplasm spatter evanesces away, leaving no trace. (Except in Xiuj's bottles).


Do you all need time to rest? Xiuj and Kendra are capable of going forward.

When the party has taken enough of a breather, Agrimar led them through the narrow passage to the west.

Emerging on the other side, you see yourselves emerge from the eastern wall of a large chamber, rougly fifty feet square.
Four dark hallways exit from this empty chamber, each striking out in one of the four directions of the compass, and each decorated with a soot-caked brass nameplate affixed to the ceiling just above the entrance. A rubble-choked stairway leads up in the middle of the room, while eight skeletons dressed in scorched prisoners’ robes lie on the ground.

Detect Evil:
Yes, the Evil in this place is strongest on this level. Focusing, you sense some evil here in the skeletons, but stronger North, West and South.

Detect Undeath:
The skeletons on the floor are suffused with undeath.

"Wonderful," Ysabot mutters, glacing warily at the skeletons in question. Wrapped about her shoulders, Persimmon growls warningly. "After you, brother."

Ereviss places his rapier in its sheath, a sword cane, and gives the cane to the paladin. 1d6 blunt weapon
"This makes an effective weapon, I will use my bow or my touch of healing on them."

Ereviss hugs Kendra tight. "The ride with me is never boring my lady. But the tales you can tell at the tavern at night are amazing."

He looks at her as he gets serious. "Your ray of undead blasting will come in handy."

He looks at the alchemist. "Bombs or holy water should do handily here. You will be the difference here. Place the first shot where it splashes the most and keep firing. I'll fire an arrow when the first one gets up."

With int bonus to bombs and splash damage, without a cleric, Xiuj is the man here. He can open up the proceedings.

As Agriman stepped forward, there is a rattling sound here in a place that has not heard sound in fifty years. The skeletons lurch off the ground and stagger upright. There is a faint echo of maddened screaming as their eye sockets start to turn in your direction...
There is no Surprise Round.

Beginning that shrill, chilling laugh, Ysabot decides to continue making Ereviss' job a little easier - Agrimar seemed to have the three well under control, after all. She turns her eye on the other skeleton attacking the elf, again aiming to suffuse its bones with brittleness.

Evil eye hex on Red 4, also targeting AC. DC14 will save reduces duration to 1 round. Cackling as a move action to extend the hex on Red 6.

Ereviss steps back and fires at the skeleton on him after infusing an arcane arrow. He hits Red 6 again, doing more damage but he’s still rattling around.

Agrimar_______________________
Growling in frustration, Agrimar attempts to club the skellington again. He connected, and crushed another skeleton.

Ysabot______________________
She turns her eye on the other skeleton attacking the elf, again aiming to suffuse its bones with brittleness.
Evil eye hex on Red 4, also targeting AC. DC14 will save reduces duration to 1 round.

Xiuj disdains throwing another bomb and instead slashes at Red 3 with his staff.

Backing into the passageway to give Ereviss room, Kendra points at Red 6 and again casts Disrupt Undead.
Ranged touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15 for 1d6 ⇒ 5 positive energy damage. The skeleton evaporates.

Ysabot hisses through clenched teeth as the skeleton's claw swipes across her arm. She grips her quarterstaff tightly, attempting to use it as a buffer between her and the enemy, but continues her shrill laugh.

Standard action to take total defense; AC is now 17. Move action to cackle, extending all hexes, so Ereviss can hopefully kill this thing and I can get back to debuffing.

Ereviss uses his wand to make healing energy. Part of Red 4 blackens and turns to ash under the positive energy attack, but it is still up and fighting.

Kendra points at Red 4 and again casts Disrupt Undead.
Ranged touch: 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (8) + 5 = 13 Hit! for 1d6 ⇒ 4 positive energy damage. That skeleton evaporates too.
