This is always tough. I'm pretty sure that picking up a new bard is a good idea with this AP and because it is Westcrown. There is a fair amount of magical power already in the group, so I'm almost leaning more toward the monk for both combat and more skills, but there is a part of me that wants to see what the rapier using bloodrager is about, plus the bloodrager angle would mean everyone has some magic, and that's just interesting. Any last thoughts?

I was thinking along those lines too, and that's what I'm going to do.
Timeline for this week - I will be working up the new member's invitations, handling any downtime that anyone needs to accomplish, and prepping the next book's first section. NOTE: The first half is...unusual. It should begin no sooner than Wednesday, and no later than Friday.

Wednesday the 23rd to Sunday the 27th US time i'll have limited posting.. away on holiday.
Tanrov Shadow-Graxt |
Yeah..I'm keeping it, I don't need anyone else to have it to get the benefit, but I do have it so you could get the benefit.

Just a quick update, I have been taking my time knowing that some folks were going to be away, then dealing with family/holiday stuff and school. I'm going to be writing up the new team mate's invitations from the leadership tonight so will have those out either later tonight or sometime tomorrow afternoon.

Hi! Hope your Eastern holidays were good. I was able to relax around small towns in the center of Spain, with barely access to the Internet :)
I was just writing to ask if we should come up with some entry for our PCs or you were planning something special when I saw your update!

So after three weeks, Garidan gains 2 hit points and is about 75% done crafting his mw dark leaf leather lamellar.

I think you need to read the crafting rules.. what your doing seems off.

Unchained.. well I have no idea about that.. the url I posted must be the old rules.

So there is an interesting question about how we might want to run the play itself for PbP. It isn't exceptionally long (the first act probably has the most dialogue since it sets up the story), but it could be a bit unwieldy waiting for those with speaking roles to post their character delivering their lines, but continuity wise, it would make for a cool read that way. Anyone have any thoughts?
The play itself is pretty well-written, and worth the read, even if we do gloss over the dialogue some. This link will take you to a PDF copy of the script.
Eidi |
We can give it a try. If we see it is cumbersome, we can always think on another idea, or just deliver long parts of the speech all together.
If it is very scripted encounter we can try to look for a moment we are all connected and deliver all the thing in just a short while :)
DM Dickie |
I was thinking about that. I think there is something interesting in the idea that some of the actors could ad lib the lines, and I was also considering the idea of an Intelligence check previewed before posting the lines to see how well they remember the lines...In any case, I'm in the process of prepping the next bits and should have some fresh posts later today.

Robhal is beginning to wonder if Beorn should be directing :P
Is Garridan just going to ignore the other roles?
Anyone want to vote on best insults? Many of the roles are pretty clear from what I've seen, that's the only one that doesn't have a real dice roll associated with it.
Garidan would prefer not to be a performer on stage and rather work in the background.
