We haven't finished splitting the loot, I don't think. We'll be keeping the ring, the morningstar and the breastplate and selling everything else, yeah? (aside from the pots and scrolls) Was Lucon keeping that Morningstar, by the way? Who was taking the breastplate?
Did we get those precious stones from the boots appraised?
Also, could we get 750gp from selling the shortsword, or was that its retail price? (With us selling it for half)?
Once I've got the answers to these, we'll be able to figure out how much each of us get in gold.
Lucon
I feel like it's a little brutal for Lucon, really. We'll sell that too, unless anyone else wants to claim it, and I'm sure I'll settle on a weapon by... at least the third module. :P
Admittedly I am waiting for someone more proficient in basic maths (or less cracked out on caffiene and 50 odd pages too many of textbook) to crunch the numbers before I sort out my equipment. Thanks again for being our excel wizard, Ava.
Sabinus
That all sounds right to me. I don't know that there much within immediate financial reach that Sabinus wants, so he'll probably save up his share, preferably in gems.
GM Mug
The precious stones from the boots you can sell for 1000gp. The jeweled sword can be sold for 750gp. Looks like you're selling the Morningstar and Caladius is taking the breastplate. Thank you Ava.
EDIT: If it wasn't clear, Amon will not be keeping his share, preferring to donate it to the ones going out to risk their lives on the missions.
**ALSO**
Thank you very much You-know-who-you-are. That was an extremely generous and kind gesture and while you probably had selfish motives as it will be used to your benefit (j/k), I very much appreciate the gesture.

Alrighty. Here we go:
Selling off the loot at half-price, we get 2738gp.
Add on the trade-goods, gold and platinum (Worth a total of 2940gp) we get 5678gp.
Split six ways that is 946gp, with 0.33 gp going into the torchbearer coffers each (20 silver).
Caladius gains an extra 175gp for selling his mwk breastplate.
Tables have been updated with new gold totals.
Please list any purchases or additional sales you make during this downtime here in the discussion thread, as you make them in the gameplay thread.
Don't forget that the tables can be reached at the bottom of Ava's profile page.
Sabinus
Thanks so much for figuring it out. I assume that means I can go ahead and add 946 GP to Sabinus' sheet, since I don't think he is going to be spending much of his share at this point...
Sabinus
That sounds about right, but I'll have to check the hero lab file at home. For some reason I didn't write it on my online profile.
Are you keeping track of each individual's gold? Does that mean I should keep you informed of his spending?
In any event, thanks so much for taking on the loot organizer role.
Ava Wavesdotter
I am indeed, Sabinus. It's all in the tables. As a long-time GM I know how much easier it is to keep track of all of that stuff in one place. So yeah, it'd be good to list any spending in this thread.
Ava'll be taking that 9-charge CLW wand, as Sabinus already has a fully charged one. It's always good to have a backup healer, even if she can only do it out of combat.

Selling his breastplate, longsword, light hammer, lantern, leather armour and heavy shield nets Lucon 1647gp in cash and 250 in trade goods, +9gp after his profession check. With the funds I'll buy a masterwork fullplate and a heavy pick for 200 in trade goods and 50gp in coins. Let's bin that oil for neatness's sake, because yow. Lucon's gear is a mess.
I've updated it here: clawed warhammer (as heavy pick), sap, mwk. fullplate, tower shield, potion of cure light wounds (2), masterwork carpenter's tools (chisel, plane, drill, saw), pouch of nails (as caltrops), artisans outfit, belt pouch (2), whetstone, heel of bread, flask (w/ cheap wine), torch, 10ft. rope, 50 gold crowns(with an additional 200 in storage/trade goods)
I'll let you know if I make any more changes.
Twigs
Mug, I'd be interested in having Lucon's wife become a Torchbearer. Would you be willing to introduce her and play her about the hideout, or would you rather I handle her? Or leave her in the background? I have plans for his sons as well. How much would you think tuition at a fine college in Kintargo would cost? I'm sure it will be chump change for a few adventurers by the end of this module.
Sabinus
Sabinus is totally good with that, and you'd definitely run into him at the hideout. Although Sabiinus makes it clear there are things he'd like one day, he clearly isn't in it for the money.
Lucon
I think the idea is to do it here or in both threads, but its probably easiest we handle oit in this thread for bookkeeping purposes.
GM Mug
I'd like to track it both... you don't know it yet but the enchanter you're going to visit is going to require a favor before offering his services. But in general I'd like to handle the shopping/enchanting here for sure, but both would be best for redundancy.
Stupid busy at work today and no internet at home still, thus the quiet weekend. Fingers crossed for tonight! But I'm not gonna hold my breath. Just wanted to let everyone know I'm still alive. :)
Sabinus
I don't think Sabinus has any significant purchases to make at this time (although I'm open to suggestions). I think he is going to save up to try to buy a headband of vast intelligence down the road (4000 gp). So please bank his share, and if someone needs to borrow some amount to be repaid later that is fine.
Enko Laberan
And the graves keep growing. Tavia, Jaiyana, Amon--er, I mean Amon is still alive. Still alive! Keep feeding him brains! Not to mention that reclusive AC Visurrian.
Lucon
Ava, I've updated the final draft of Lucon's gear, so let's go fitted for that armour in character.
...and welcome back, Mug! I hope your internet frustration is nearing its end.
Mug would you be interested in playing Lucon's wife as an NPC? My sons can remain relatively voiceless but I'd rather she took a more active role. I'll crunch the numbers on a rough cost for sending my sons away once I get on the train. Which I should very well be catching by now but I can't seem to tear myself away from the thread help augh
Twigs
But Mug, you must be my wife! How will I go on without you? :p
That's excellent. I'll have to get a feel for her myself, but the gyst is that she's a cleric oF shelyn and way out of his league. The Shelynites supposedly practiced freely in Westcrown without worrying about reprisal. Thanks.

You find a note at the wash basin.
Caladius--you have left your dishes in the basin for three days and we are drawing flies. It's your week for dishes; I have on sweeping and mopping duty, if you recall.
-May the Light of the Upper Reach illumine you,
Enko.
Enko Laberan
Mug, et al: I had an idea to take Enko into Clerical duties after 7 levels of Monk. We can't expect to have Amon GMPC'ing along for everything (or can we?), and Monks, well, you know, they rise to a certain level of mediocrity. Not that I don't mind flavor over optimization; pretty sure that's what every monk is.
Anyhoo, let me know what you think of Enko taking a little Iomedae for Good, but also allowing Repose--because doing a Bad Touch Cleric fits nicely in my idea of a monk being a 'melee combat debuffer'. This does go outside the Inheritor's domains...darn lack of Good-aligned touch debuffs. If so, then I just have to figure out when he would start doing that. I think the AP goes to 12 (one more than, 11, Spinal Tap!), so it would be Monk 7/Cleric 5, but how to mix that up, not sure yet.
GM Mug
That sounds fine from my end, I don't intend on bringing Amon along to much else for the foreseeable future.
EDIT: Sorry for the slowness these last few days, between no internet at home (thankfully fixed now), and a COO breathing down my neck time has been... a little tight. Just keeping ye faithful in the loop.
Caladius Rend
Only 12? I thought all the APs went to 14 or 15.
Not sure how into Prestige Classes you are, but if they're something you'd be interested in looking at there's this PrC if you'd like to play up Enko's pursuit of the Inheritor. It's a really short one though.
I thought this one sounded like it'd also suit a multi-classed Enko well and it wouldn't be hard to paint it in Iomedae's colors so to speak.
Enko Laberan
I've tried not to even look at the names of the various modules, but I just peeked again, and it goes to 13. I think I had just figured out feats for Enko up to 12, since 13th Level doesn't give anything. Looking at them and going, "hmm...'saving up' for Vicious Stomp or Improved Reposition...yeah, not super thrilling" was part of the thought process of not going straight monk.
I do like PrC's at times, but it looks like Inheritor's Crusader would require a pally dip to meet requirements AND a cleric dip (to get both longsword and channelling requirements). Champion of Enlightenment is more interesting...I'm still thinking Cleric. Buffs and debuffs will be useful, possibly some magicks that Sabinus and the Viscount don't have access to.
Caladius Rend
No need to dip for longsword if you're willing to spend a feat on it instead. Monks are feat-starved enough as it is though, so I understand any reticence to consider doing so.
An alternative would be to forsake cleric levels entirely and take 4 levels of paladin until the Paladin gains channel energy. I think it's at level 4? That's a big investment though, and not as buff/debuff focused as you've been describing. Plus, it'd take considerably longer before you got access to spells.
Regardless of the mechanics involved, I think that cleric sounds like a fantastically thematic fit for Enko. He's possessed of a gentleness that I don't really see in the paladin class and I think cleric could be a fun direction for you.
/bows
/points to stain on Enko's shirt
/flicks Enko's nose when he glances down to see a stain that isn't actually there
/walks away chuckling
Sabinus
You know, I should clarify. Witches have a lot of debuffing, but the mechanics are special and odd, and there aren't many buffing hexes, and the spell list certainly lacks the buffing versatility of the cleric spell list...
Caladius Rend
Enko finds a note when he wakes in the morning.
Enko--Did the dishes but had nothing to dry them with. Used a dart board to pick what I'd use. Hit the square for your purse. It's probably still soggy. Hope you don't mind.
--May that High Reach place you're always talking about lighten your load,
Caladius
P.S. I'm thinking about getting a pet soon. You're cool with that, right?
Lucon
Hrm, I have a speech to write for today, but let's just say I'm not sure Lucon's wife would approve if he went to the theatre with Ermolos the blacksmith on his arm, so I think I'll take her instead, by Mug's leave. I'll give her the needed fleshing out ASAP
SurplusRaine
Ava will purchase a set of Masterwork Chelaxian Parade Armour (Identical to Mwk Studded; +2 diplomacy/intimidate vs people from that country; Adventurer's Armoury/Ultimate Equipment) for 175gp.
She will purchase a Noble's Outfit for 75gp, and a signet ring for 5gp.
She will sell her Mwk Studded Leather Armour for 85.5gp.
She will convert 200gp of her wealth into tight-fitting silver and opal jewellery such as rings, chokers and bracelets. She'll leave her ear studs as they are.
Total spending: -255gp; +85.5gp; 200 converted.
Net: -169.5gp
Sabinus
How many GP does Sabinus have at this point? Did Lucon borrow some in the end? Sabinus would also convert most of his GP into gems (but he'd secret them away; not anything he'd wear).
