There is a curious silence these days.
Honestly, I am not exactly sure what's going on. I could use some manner of re-cap before I charge into the fray again.
You, Fate, and Marcello are at the Keep (it's probably around midnight, so I imagine Fate is either close to or in bed). I dare not guess where Sarcon is or what he's doing. Marcello has just arrived quite late from his guard duty of Crystal for her evening out, and he has not brought Crystal with him. He also smells of ash.
Sorry. Between midterms and getting ready for my trip, I've been swamped.

The heroes are a bit tied up at the moment, so no rush. I imagine they'll be... late to dinner.
I'm back now, but I caught con crud, so I've spent most of the day sleeping and coughing (or some combination of the two).
Con crud seems like the most disgustingly vile condition in this existence, my own experiences with cons tells me that anything linked to such events can only be spawned from the deepest levels of hell.

I understand the jump forward... Nobody could write anything... I was completely drained at the moment, which I apologize for...
Nothing more annoying than having to deal with that and try to respond to something like that.
So now that the small jump has happened... Have the heroes even responded to the dinner invite or do we not know that, due to the messenger being sent to Crystal's humble abode?
I'm basically better now. Between being sick and sleeping all day and trying to keep up with school this week, I've been spread thin. I'm ready to get going again now :)

Alive is a possibility, but definitely a slave to your guy's decision-making. Pursue, plan dinner, etc., but get busy! :)
Hmm...Fate will have her clockwork doppelgangers assist in the search as well. More eyes spread out throughout the city should help.
Sarcon, did you want to join Victor and Marcello? I believe they suggested fetching you.

Now We just need to determine who runs after Sarcon, possibly bump into Melaphi, comes back with Sarcon and then we can continue our search.
I vote Victor, as he runs faster... But if he doesn't write something, then Sarcon can follow us from the keep... And just pop out or something?

Why, exactly, would you tell them I was kidnapped by a vampire? I was going to expend a great deal of effort to keep that secret, vampires having glaring weaknesses and all. Victooooooorrrrrrr!
For the same reason I do everything else. To either amuse myself or manipulate them into doing something for me.
In this case it is the latter.
Besides, there is a glaring difference between you having been kidnapped and by a vampire actually been turned into one yourself.
Just random citizens. Play it however you like.

Depending on their own actions, we will have a range of possible benefits but also a minor range of possible disastrous events. Due to my blatant disregard of the negatives, I will be concentrating primarily on the positive rewards.
First of all, no what they do, they will be wasting time on discussing their course of action. With their slower posting rate, we will be provided extra time to locate Crystal.
In a best case scenario, they will fight the fight for us and Crystal will be bought into our custody.
In a slightly less good, but still quite brilliant level, they will fight for us and then we take Crystal from them.
And the only thing we lost was the fact that Crystal had been kidnapped, they have no way of knowing if she has been turned. Heck, our group doesn't even know that yet.
Fate approves of this course of action.

I approve of the fact that you just hired us Mercenaries without them knowing and without us paying them.
The only part I dislike is this: They know that Crystal was taken by a Vampire.
The fact that they now know that is pretty crucial. We could have said it was a group of culprits, the same ones you had taken out earlier who had come for revenge. It could have been a drunk wizard for all we know.
Now, there will always be the small nagging voice in their heads, right next to the one asking if they put on clean underwear, asking "Could Crystal have been turned?"
And I know it is quite the jump to go from "Princess saved from monster" to "Ex-Princess, slay her she might be a monster!". They don'e strike me as that type of players that go in and slay an entire village because they spotted 1 vampire in it, but...
Honestly, other than that, I don't mind of what you did Victor. I approve your courage and at the same time I fear that open mouth of yours... But we will still beat them.

Have to agree with Marcello here. The whole Vampire thing was SUPER dependent on them NOT knowing I was, or might be, a vampire. Otherwise, they can just pull out the garlic, holy water, and disastrous sun spells and completely take me out of the fight or destroy me.
What's done is done...but I think that this plan lacked foresight of any kind.
