Govannon considers Aleksander’s suggestion, but shakes his head. ”Even if we could, there’s no more room out there either, and it could push us off the ledge. Let’s fight it here.”
He moves up, giving room for others to join in, and attacks, using another precious point from his arcane pool to improve his weapon for the fight.

Naught charges the girallon but her claws cannot penetrate its flesh.
Govannon likewise swoops on the flesh golem and manages to catch it off guard with his attack, but he finds that his scimitar hardly is able to cut through the creature's thick hide.
Zelda slips in next to Naught but is unable to hit the golem.
The garillon flesh golem begins furiously rending Govannon with its four claws (48 hp damage).

”It requires adamantine to damage it fully, and has a number of attacks - clearly!”
Govannon knows another blow will kill him, and he’s at peace with that. This castle has been just too much for him! He chews his lip, having no tobacco to call his own at the moment, and strikes back as best he can before Pharasma comes to claim his soul…
He 5' steps (if possible - not sure on the map) to flank with Zelda. If he is able to step there, +2 to both attacks from flank, and Zelda gets flank for her swings.

Also, good grief that's a lot of 7s. What are the odds?
| Naught |
”Whelp. Don't got any of that.” Naught lets out as she stares up at the beast before just shrugging. What else do invulnerable monsters not like? Fire? Fire would be nice.
Stretching her arms forward and interlocking her fingers with her palms she loudly cracks her knuckles. Freeing them sparks appears as her claws scrape against each other before her fingers are enveloped in baleful green flame. Not seeming to notice the development she begins to claw at the four-armed monster attacking Govannon.

Aliseya's haggish gaze lowers to the ground, where the torn body of Govannon lies. Her mannequin absently drops to the ground. As the red glow diminishes from her eyes, she slowly walks forward towards the body as if dragging a heavy burden. Sorrow grows upon her face as her normal self returns.
By the time she reaches him, she drops to her knees, tears streaming down her cheeks. She is inconsolable at the loss of such a noble and good friend.
After some time, Ali will help heal everyone with her wand of clw. Feel free to roll your own hp (1d8+5 per use).

Aleks cleans and sheathes his blades almost in a trance, on autopilot, barely aware of his actions. Govannon... He shakes his head, still not quite able to process. He has crossed the threshold, as all life must. It is the Goddess's way. After a while, he steps forward, scooping Ali's doll from he ground as he goes. Kneeling beside her, he puts one arm around her shoulders, and presses the doll back into her hand with the other, trying gently to bring her back to her feet and steer her away from the grisly sight. Even as he does so, a few tears of his own mix with hers on the floor.

Zelda finds the faint outlines where chalk markings were erased from one of the walls. She finds that with the assistance of the others, she can faintly read the markings.
A crude chalk diagram depicts the iron spire atop of the
tower, and two strange apparatuses at its pinnacle. An
arrow points to the larger of the two devices, next to the
words “The Storm Caller must be activated to energize

"Like, what's a Bondslave Thrall?" she asks the mouthless creature. "Sounds kinky."
"Oh. Wait... 'summon the Beast?' You mean, like, we can magically make Mr. Golem instantly be here?" Ali asks hopefully of the homunculus. "That would be awesome, because they're going to kill him soon..."
She finally looks at the faded chalk on the wall, and wonders aloud, "What does that say...?"
