Taking the liberty here of assuming Sebastian would have told the rest something of what he saw/heard.
Johan calls back over his shoulder to the nightmare, in infernal, Cytheria Rex, use the secret door at the end of this hallway to get behind the attackers. Switching back to common, he says to Grumblejack, Ogre, go with the devil-horse. Open the door for him, because, well, he's a horse and has no hands.

As ordered, Grumblejack moves to the secret door and opens it, allowing the nightmare to pass, carrying Sebastian, and soon after the ogre does the same, closing the door behind him.
Seeing the nightmare and the ogre passing, it’s enough to excite a response from the good doers.

With a swift pray to the Grey Master, Eldred let fly a volley of deadly arrows. The first two misses miserably, but the third one hits the sorceress in her shoulder, causing her quickly spin to look at her assailant, and maybe that was her mistake, for the fourth arrow pierces her eye, craving in her skull, as the woman drops to the ground.
Maybe with his last breath, Cedric curses the half-orc attacking now with reckless abandon. If he were to die, at least one he would take with him. Gripping his sword tightly, the blade shines as is struck her favored enemy. Two swift and brutal strikes.
Blood flows everywhere, and with a surprised look, the half-orc falls as well.
Unaware his allies are being overwhelmed Sebastian moves and cast Sheild of Faith on Eldred.
