Sorry, mates. I have been in a real chaos duing the holidays. I'm back again!

I mailed Branding for a status update and he wrote back:

Sorry for the long delay. I am still here but am under a tight deadline for Paizo, which has kept me off the boards. I'm actually writing one of the later Pathfinder Scenarios for season 2 (#2-21, The Dalsine Affair). The good news, however, is that I should be finishing it tomorrow.
I promise to finish off our scenario as soon as I get this one squared away.

PFS always has an open call for scenarios. Pitch one and you too could be sweating a deadline! ;)

From what I know Branding Op is a reliable pbp DM, as he's been on Enworld for ages playing and running them. I doubt he'll leave you guys in the lurch. If for some reason he is unable to continue due to RL issues, I'll finish out (or better, keep it active until he is able to resume) the scenario for you since it is an official PFS table. So don't give up on your thread.

So first of all, a sincere apology for my super-long absence. There's really no excuse for it. I've been busy over the holidays trying to finish my first PFS mod. But it's done! I've written one called "The Dalsine Affair" which will be number 2-21, and come out later this year (in May I believe).

So first of all I want to check if everyone is still around and interested. If my prolonged absence has soured you on our adventure, I completely understand and I won't hold it against you. You can leave and there will be no negative PFS repercussions.

So who is still on board?

OK, the first results of your skill checks have been posted. You have succeeded on a total of 4 rolls, which means that you need six more rolls. I didn't complete all of your attempts you had posted, as I wanted to let you know the consequences on performing poorly. As you have already discovered, the Survival checks are the easiest, as you are simply trying to follow the morlocks' and minotaur's tracks.

You were actually the first person I thought of when I saw the new character class. Feel free to change Takuma to the beta test class, just be aware that it means you have to stay up-to-date on all the latest official updates on the Paizo messageboards, and adhere to any changes that are posted there. Finally, when the hardcover of Ultimate Combat is released ... whenever it is released later this year ... you have to change it to the final version.

Just send me a copy of the new character sheet when you are done please.

EDIT: Also, just want to make you aware of this note on the samurai on the PFS "Additional Resources" page:

A samurai may only choose from the listed animals for his mount. All samurais belonging to the Ronin order treat the three tenets of the Pathfinder Society (explore, report, and cooperate) as their edicts as outlined in Seekers of Secrets.

Nope, since you do not carry your weapons you don't have to do anything. However, if you fail the save, you will feel much friendlier toward him.

You're not out of combat, it's just that no one is physically attacking you right at this moment ... if that helps :)

That is pretty much what I thought. So are there any limits as to what actions we can take given the hypnotism state?

Not liking the look of the catwalk Montesquieu will move as far as he can towards the Minotaur while snarling savagely and deftly snapping the whip back and forth in Abysiel's general direction. (Intimidate: (17) + 12 = 29, success! Abysiel is now frightened for one more round, after which he will be shaken for 3 more rounds, unless frightened some more)

Intimidate doesn't stack with itself, so he's only shaken (for a lot of rounds! Very good intimade roll!). (see this thread)

I move to J10 and grab Marcus shoulder (not to immobilize him, just to attract his attention to me.

I think Farouk and Marcus are out of your reach as they are 20 feet up.

Furthermore the actions of the enemy don't indicate he wants to surrender. He commands us to stop, but he still attacks!

What Takuma see is this:
"if someone is hitting me, I have to deffend myself even if I'm begging for forgiveness"

I know Takuma could be totally wrong. But that's what HE believes according to his code of honor. This is roleplaying man ^_^
