"The hell is going on?"
"And Auron, would you mind patching me up before something else happens?"
Garren Emeraldeyes
"Damn Sun, you trip over some knives or what?" Garren says with a chuckle.
"Any ideas on what to do next Auron?"
Sun Xiao
"I fought with the Mantis Assassin who killed my parents. Or at least, an apparition that looked like him. Still not sure which."
Garren Emeraldeyes
"Deep s$+#. I was back at one of my first jobs back in Waterdeep... Except there were dragons instead of guards. You wanna grab a drink after this?" Garren offers.
"Still I wonder what the purpose of all that was..."
Sun Xiao
"Yeah. A drink does sound nice."
"I've got some right here if you want it." Sun takes one of his flasks out of his bandolier and holds it out to Garren.
"Firebrand whiskey. Burns like the Abyss but it's got a good flavor."
Garren Emeraldeyes
"Abyss? Nah, probably bad luck for me to drink that...ah what the Hells." Garren takes the flask and takes a swig.
"Hoo. There we go. Bad memories suppressed." Garren says after shaking his head quickly and handing the flask back to Sun.
Auron Luckstride
"I just ignored it... Somehow, it seemed unlikely that any of things shown to me would be in this place... Your sudden disappearance, the complete blackness and the all-around overwhelming magic auras didn't make it any more convincing either..." rants Auron as he pulls a healing wand from his bag.
CLW: 13d8 + 10 ⇒ (3, 1, 1, 7, 5, 3, 1, 7, 8, 3, 6, 7, 2) + 10 = 64
Sun Xiao
"Thanks." Sun says as most of his wounds close up.
"So. What do you say we all move forward before whatever that was happens again?"
DM.
"I just ignored it... Somehow, it seemed unlikely that any of things shown to me would be in this place... Your sudden disappearance, the complete blackness and the all-around overwhelming magic auras didn't make it any more convincing either..."
Sun's injuries are very real however. You can clearly see a footprint in Sun's chest, right where he have a broken rib.
A red mist becomes slowly visible
To disregard the pieceeeeeees of space-time you experience here could leaaaaaad you to your deaaaaaaaaaaath or worse - It says while slowly moving around you.

"We're not really trying to get out. We're trying to find the guy who came in here before us."
DM.
I can show you a wayyyyy to get out, and if you are triumphant you will appear somewhere else in the multiverseeeee...with no memory of anything related to how and whyyyyyyyyy you are here...You will lost that time forever, and everything related to it...Do note that the other exist is to reach the coreeee...not adviced indeed
DM.
"We're not really trying to get out. We're trying to find the guy who came in here before us."
There are many beings trapped heeeeeeere...Most of them end accepting my deaaal...those that don't, wander until they lost their sanityyyy...or until they erase themselves out of existence at some point in their personal past
Garren Emeraldeyes
"...Well. You must be hella bored here what with being here for ages. Why not help us out and watch us lay the smack down on the ass who might know where our friend's soul is being kept. Afterwards we can negotiate terms based on how entertaining it was eh?"
Sun Xiao
"What happens if you erase yourself, exactly? Is it truly as if you'd never existed? As in, everything you've ever done never happens, which ripples into the future?"
Sun Xiao
"Unacceptable. As we are here for information, that would defeat the purpose of being here at all."
DM.
it's... complicated to explaiiiiiin to beings like yourselve that are trapped in the flow alonside with time...but in that caseeee, you would have never exixted and the multiverseee reorganize itself as to minimizeeee the impact of the changeeeee
Ah, a momentary lapsus. There are actually two possibilities, to never exist (like killing your mom, or making her never meet your father), or do something that end with he death of you past "you" (Like Sun killing his young self in the last scene). Either way, the multiverseee reorganize itself as to minimizeeee the impact of the changeeeee.

The previous post was more a commentary on "I'll take all of your memories from being here". If he does so, that means we'll neither remember killing Amman, nor remember what he might tell us about Tandall's soul. It would make us coming here pointless, we might as well have let him go.
Auron Luckstride
Ah...! My bad! For some reason it wasn't showing the "X new posts" notification.
"Let's move on"
:P
DM.
As you wisshhhh,....there comes another dreaaaaam,....lets see whats you opinion after it... - The mist swirls and disappear. Your environment start changing and you are now in the middle of a familiar forest.
Tandall:And what the ladies are waiting for? we have a job to do - THe man in his Full plate and with his bastard sword draw.
You remember that, your last job together, If your memory serves well you were attacked by a strange beast just a couple of seconds later.
Rynjin
Quick question, is this going to be one of those things where we're supposed to just be slammed into memories until we agree to the guy's idea, or not? Just want to see if I'm missing something important.
Also, what do we remember about this encounter?
DM.
Quick question, is this going to be one of those things where we're supposed to just be slammed into memories until we agree to the guy's idea, or not?
Actually not, if you agree with him the campaign would be over basically since you forget about everything. Note that he did say there was a second option.
Sun Xiao
Gotcha. Just wanted to make sure I hadn't overlooked something important that made the deal better than it sounded.
"Tandall. Trouble's coming, I can feel it." Sun says.
Auron Luckstride
Auron groans with disinterest...
"Ugh... This again? I'm really not in the mood to stroll memory lane... There is nothing to be learned here..."
Garren Emeraldeyes
"Think of it as roleplaying mate. Go with the flow."
"Aye aye Tandall. Suns right though, something feels off."
DM.
A huge gibberish mass of ever changing "stuffs"** Erupts from the forest, bringing down a couple of trees in his way toward you
**And by this I mean, a lot of things comes and goes every second: mouths, eyes, beaks, dirt, etc.
attack Vs Auron: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 292d6 + 20 ⇒ (1, 6) + 20 = 27
attack Vs Garren: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (19) + 20 = 392d6 + 20 ⇒ (1, 2) + 20 = 23
attack Vs Tandall: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (4) + 20 = 242d6 + 20 ⇒ (6, 6) + 20 = 32
attack Vs Sun: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (9) + 20 = 292d6 + 20 ⇒ (4, 1) + 20 = 25
If you get hit, then Fort DC 21, or Roll a 1d10 and suffer one of the following
1. Blindness
2. Nauseated
3. Staggered
4. Confused
5. Dazzled
6. Exhausted
7. Fatigued
8. Frightened
9. Nothing

Creature miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 46
Snake Style: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (19) + 26 = 45
Snake Fang: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (20) + 22 = 42
Confirm?: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (18) + 22 = 40
Damage: 4d8 + 68 ⇒ (5, 8, 5, 5) + 68 = 91
Sun sinuously moves out of the way and retaliates against the disgusting creature.
On his turn:
"Does anyone remember what this thing is?" he says as he pounds on it.
Swap to Pummeling Style, then back to Snake at the end of the attack sequence.
Attack 1: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (2) + 20 = 22
Damage?: 2d8 + 30 ⇒ (2, 4) + 30 = 36
Attack 2: 1d20 + 20 ⇒ (12) + 20 = 32
Damage?: 2d8 + 30 ⇒ (3, 8) + 30 = 41
Attack 3: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (12) + 15 = 27
Damage?: 2d8 + 30 ⇒ (8, 6) + 30 = 44
Attack 4: 1d20 + 15 ⇒ (17) + 15 = 32
Damage?: 2d8 + 30 ⇒ (5, 3) + 30 = 38
Attack 5: 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (3) + 10 = 13
Damage?: 2d8 + 30 ⇒ (3, 6) + 30 = 39
If for some reason I can't use Snake Style, I'd like to take that 19, 20, and 18 as my Attack 1, Attack 2, and Confirmation for obvious reasons. =)
