Erd
"I agree," Erd says, floating off towards that area.
Auron Luckstride
"No need to float on your own, Erd... I can take you guys there."
Saying these words, Auron reaches for Erd's arm and pulls her back. The Cleric then uses Wind Walk to transport the group to a relatively safe area on the surface of the giant fetus.
Garren Emeraldeyes
"Righto then! I'll see what I can find." Garren then picks a random direction to scout in on the...giant fetus.
Taking 10 on Stealth for a 53. Taking 10 on Perception for a 30.
Auron Luckstride
"Don't stray too far, Gar... And do not engage anyone or anything either. Just observe. We don't know what the hell lives in this place... Well, other than the two races engaged inbattle and giant monsters with dead-magic eyes..."
DM.
Near the fetus-planetoid there is objetive gravity. It is a little stronger than in our moon but it does not extend too much into space. So falling is way reduced and you have +15 to any jump check. However as there is gravity is somewhat harder to scape from it. either you jump high enough (DC 35), or concentrate really hard in making your own gravity (DC 25, character level plus highest mental stat)
Ok, so scouts ahead. The city reflects a militaristic and well ordered mindset, and proud. Ominous structures with flying buttresses and protruding wrought-iron spikes, but with enough decor to make them more than cold assemblages of stone and iron. Porticos are often adorned with sculptures and frescoes depicting githyanki champions riding dragons, while beautifully carved statues of prominent githyanki dominate city squares. Buildings are densely packed, multistory affairs joined by stone bridges on the upper levels. Skillfully wrought carvings of githyanki champions and battle scenes adorn the outer walls of most public and civic buildings. Inner and outer walls are of superior masonry. Ground fl oors are made of smooth stone, sometimes covered with wooden planks, while upper stories consist of wooden tiles or planks set atop thick wooden beams. Ceilings inside buildings are usually 15 feet tall.
By listening some conversation you lear that the city is called Iolouth, and it is one of the most open and cosmopolitan city of the Githyanki due to its merchantile nature. There merchant district host a wide variety of other races.
It is still a githianki city however. So there are strict rules for the non-giths. Outsiders are closely watched at everytime. In short, any wrong infl icted
upon a githyanki—from the most violent murder to a hateful glare is punishable by death. Particularly heinous criminals are brought before the Commissar so that he may have the honor of killing the perpetrators personally. When a crime is committed against a nongithyanki, both
the accused and the accuser are dragged before the Commissar and given one chance to plead for justice. In most instances, the accused is presumed guilty and killed. In some instances, particularly when no githyanki are involved in the crime, both the accused and the accuser are deemed at fault and summarily slain, which helps to discourage criminal acts and the willingness to report them.
The city have recently been attacked by the gith's eternal enemies, the Illithids, so the outsiders are even more vigilated, specially the newcomers, like AMMAN. He and his Daemoninc crew and a a litle goblin seems to be almost prisioners in the Merchant district and being publically interrogated.
What do you do?
Erd
Hm . . . here's where an arcane caster would've been convenient. If we had some polymorphs we could get the special treatment. Anyway, should we go and try to give evidence against Amman? I feel like that could end up with us on the block as well.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Garren reports back to his compatriots and tells them of what he's learned.
"We're in a good spot to denounce Amman here and get the Githyanki involved. I can disguise myself as one of them and have you all as my attendees/slaves where I can then call him out on attacking me. Non-githyanki are treated like refuse here so it shouldn't be hard to get the crowd on my side. Once things heat up, we shouldn't have too much trouble putting them down on the spot."
Garren takes a breath.
"How's that for a plan?"
Erd
Erd nods. "Good plan, Garren. I can pretend to be a guard."
Auron Luckstride
"Hmmm... It could go wrong if they see through us... But it's as good plan as any... We should probably try to find out more about Amman's locations and plans, though. Give me 15 minutes to prepare..."
I use those 15 min to prepare plane shift with one of my open slots.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Pretend? Nonsense. Garren is intense.
Garren whips out a scroll of Alter Self(BMC: 1150 Gold Remaining) and invokes it upon himself after preparing a few other objects to assist in his disguise. (A Cane, a nicer looking outfit befitting a Middle class Githyanki(50 gp) via BMC: 1075 Gold Remaining)
Use Magic Doohickey: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23
Skill Mastery: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (2) + 21 = 23
He then puts the finishing touches on his new persona by interrogating his two more knowledgeable compatriots on Githyanki speech habits and mannerisms.
Disguise: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (9) + 22 = 31
Skill Mastery: 1d20 + 22 ⇒ (4) + 22 = 26
Magic that alters your form gives you a +10 to Disguise Checks
Once ready, he leads the party to the place where he saw Amman and approaches the nearest guard.
"That human tried to lay hands on my property! Get that filth off the streets!" Garren proclaims loudly.
Bluff: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (20) + 21 = 41
Skill Mastery: 1d20 + 21 ⇒ (16) + 21 = 37
Awww yes! Natural 20!
Auron Luckstride
3 rolls and Skill Mastery didn't help him in any single one of them... I feel like I should apologize to Scavion for giving him a faulty product. XD
EDIT: Well... Actually it did kinda of help, but in a really bizarre way... Without Skill Mastery, he would have rolled each skill check only once, so his results would be 2, 2 and 9, instead of 2, 9 and 20. M Revised Rogue is so good that he even cheats the game! :D

You people came just when the Giths were finishin the talk to Amman (apparently he was clear), but then Garren interrupts and put everyone present on the defensive, Weapons are unsheated and spellcaster ready their spell pouchs.
Amman: Bah! What silliness is that?!
The Giths look at Garren, apparently his outfit just not fit (to be specific the cane), but in the heat of the moment do not Garren speech had more weight (AKA, the cane gave a circumtance penalty, but the rolls where high enough to pass)
Gith Captain:Flithy thieves, take them all! (Amman group he means)
A fight start, The giths use their magic, swords and physic powers while The daemons rushes to protect amman an the Little goblind. Amman start with his tactic of imediate casting fire shield and and mirror image. THe goblin answer with a Mass hold person that left out of combat half of the gith troop.
The gith captain sounds the Alarm and call for reinforcement. Flying Giths aproach from the distance. Althought Amman and his crew are clearly stronger individually, it seems they will be heavily outnumbered soon (perhaps 4 or 5 rounds)
To be specific, Amman crew is composed of 12 Ceustodaemons, 5 Leukodaemons, 2 Thanadaemons, and at least 2 dozens of tiny cacodaemons. 3 Ceustos and half of the cacodaemons falls in the first seconds of the fight
Erd
Well . . . he might escape, but we can just follow him from there. I don't want to get caught like he did! You guys alright letting the githyankis handle this?
Sun Xiao
Sun Xiao awaits orders from his "master", not wanting to blow his cover by taking action on his own initiative.
Auron Luckstride
let the gith things take care of him... Let's leave while Garren's disguise is still up.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Garren motions for his "slaves" to follow as he makes his exit. Once properly away, he'll double back in stealth to examine the situation unfold.
"The authorities should handle things for now, but I'll stay close and see what happens. If anything DOES happen, I'll figure a way out to send for you all." Garren says before flickering away into nothingness.
Taking 10 on Stealth for a 53.
My apologies, didn't know exactly when holiday break would be over.
Erd
"Let us go where we landed," Erd says, ponderously. She's still getting used to having gravity again.
Erd
Erd drinks one of her potions, then stores Bili in her banner. She follows Sun away as best she is able.
Take 10 while invisible for a 24 as well. Becomes a 4 once the 3-minute potion wears off.
Auron Luckstride
for some reason, this thread doesn't have the "new messages" count. I dunno... I Wind Walk away, I guess.
DM.
@ Garren.
The tide of the fight is on Amman and his crew thanks to the special abilities of the daemon. However in a (un)lucky strike Amman get hurted by heavily on the neck by a bastard sword.
@ The rest
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (1) + 11 = 12
Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (3) + 11 = 14

Perception: 1d20 + 11 ⇒ (4) + 11 = 15
A group of 6 flying githyankis that were flying in the direction of Ammand fight stop when passing near you.
Who hides there?..You, the human (Sun) Identify yourself now! - the leader of the group say and points to you with his bastard swrod.
Erd
Are they wearing armor or carrying weapons?
Sun Xiao
"I am but a servant, my master bade me flee the scene of the fight."
"I am unarmed, see?" he says, holding his hands up.
Auron Luckstride
I think I can use Wind Walk to spirit Sun Xiao away... That wouldn't make them any more trusting of us, though. :P
DM.
Using Auron's magic (wind wall I think it was) you evades the Gith squadron. You are able to hide while the commotion passes. Using his almost unmatched hiding techniques Garren enter the city again and discover that Amman was heavily wounded, almost killed, but he survived. He fled to the planet-fetus head and entered in his mouth. The Gith were scared to pursue him, nobody that enter there comes out.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Almost unmatched hiding skills? I beg your pardon? =P
"Sounds like a plan but this big fetus thingy is freakin me out hardcore. I feel like we're going to awaken some unholy abomination at the end of this." Garren scratches his head.
Sun Xiao
"Nothing we haven't handled before." Sun says with a slight smile.
Referring to the mission in the backstory. Not sure if you read it or not.
Garren Emeraldeyes
Well almost only counts in horseshoes and fireballs.
"Tandall took one for the team, let's hope no one has to make any brave sacrifices again."
