He takes a pair of ear plugs. Secures them and moves away to find a good spot to send a fireball down upon the threats besides the trolls.

Artemis would nod, taking them and putting them in, "Thanks but I'd still recommend you don't get in front of me when firing..." he says, trying to take down any targets not covered by the rocks.

Round 2-4 Redo/New

After finding nothing and feeling a bit impatient, Artemis would just sigh before turning to Delman, "Well, I can't get a good shot from in retrospect so... I will be back..." he says before flying off towards a perch that will allow him to not only engage the trolls along the South Wall, but also give him a better position to shoot at the trolls hiding behind the boulders.

ETA on the map? Its a bit figurative trying to figure out where I am in relationship to everything.


Everyone needs to update their stats line as we fight or keep a running tally of your HP for Jellena. Otherwise she doesn't know and she should know.

I know it is figurative and it is hard to make a map that is 600 feet long! Now that you are moving it might make a difference. Do you want to stay on the South side or move to the North side. As you fly there are many perches you could use. Though it might take a while to get to an ideal perch... Say 3 or 4 rounds depending if you want to be on the South or North side.

Serill based on your actions you would be at least 30 feet behind Joe. So no cones of fire would hit you... that said you are now the sole target of the huge troll that looks HUNGRY! You may choose to change your Round 3 actions.

Round 3

The second initial fire troll is brought low by Joe as the others swarm upon him and John. The huge fire troll turns its attention towards the caster, Serill. The huge troll moved up to Serill and is ready to swipe for a quick bite!

The Huge monstrous troll in the back with a wide mouth in its belly, gives up on Serill and moves up towards the fight. Then he unleashes a 30 foot cone of fire hitting everyone but green troll.

30-ft. cone, 3d6 ⇒ (2, 5, 4) = 11,Reflex DC 18, 1d4 ⇒ 3 round.

The blue and purple trolls take steps back to optimize their attacks though they miss Joe. Orange on the other hand hits once, tearing flesh and metal. John gets hit by a tearing claw too. The flames heal the trolls as those who don't save burn.

The two trolls on the ground begin to move again but they don't get up yet.

Artemis can't hear John, as you are likely 80+ feet high. Though you likely have cycled through the damages and realize that cold does do the most damage to them. Artemis you do know you are dangerously low on ammunition, down to just your special ammo.

Jellena moves around to have the trolls swing at her then casts a spell upon Joe. Joe double moves away with fire breath on his heels. The fire barely touches Jellena.

Witnessing Jellena's escape, Joe speaks to the assembled Serills. "I'll see if I can bring them west, giving Artemis better target and clear the field for you to go crazy with any area magic you got!!" Joe moves 40 feet.

King Joseph makes a declaration. "Leaders of The Red Horde! I, King Joseph of Camelot here by pronounce the sentence of death upon you all! For you crimes against Avalon and it's people!! By the power invested in me by The Mistress and Avalon itself, you will DIE!!"

Round 8
Hoping at least the big guy is blind, Serill incants again, "Lae Aboleth!" and then runs forward to touch the giant troll.

(Using Potent Magic to boost DC) Will DC 20 to avoid suffocation from Aboleth’s Lung. Big guy has -1 to ALL rolls if he hasn't been using a move action to itch himself.
This plan of Serill's is based on the Suffocation rules. 4 hours of duration is 2,400 round of holding breath. Regeneration also does not help against suffocation.

Serill retreats with the others. "Some of them may be blind. I have no more powerful spells but can keep their regeneration shut down with acid. The big one may suffocate and die if we're lucky... after a while."

Remember Joe, Jellena cast fire resistance 10 on you. So you would take no damage from the breath weapon after you saved or the d6 fire damage from their attacks.

Joe misses his Retribution strike as his blade grazes the thick hide of the troll, also Joe if they have reach and you don't, then you can't do this strike, such as in this scenario.

Jellena runs back... John runs back last round... John then takes a double move to get behind the wizard...

Each round you hear more shots echo off the wall's of the pass. The Orange troll that Joe targeted appears to be the target... In this time several fire breaths have been shot by the blinded trolls in your general direction, the huge one is not looking so well and is holding its breath now...

There is a flash of light heading towards the current fight. The arrow at its front barely visible. Then it sinks into the flesh of the purple troll. A moment later only the flames are left of it. Then those are gone as well.

300 feet away you see the two figures standing, then one begins to run towards the fight.

You all hear, except for John, Niversal, Markas, or Ryada, Delman's voice as if he was talking next to you, "So what is going on? We have these rings to communicate and either no one is using them or talking. As these are fire trolls we decided fireball would only help them and hurt our group. I will keep my distance and Markas is going to move in. Though if you want another troll disintegrated just tell Markas which one."
