Leila is right. While technically you can't really shoot until you know what the final positioning of everything is (so you can tell what guns if any are even relevant) in this case you guys won initiative and you're on a turret so you can go ahead and fire the turret if you want. In fact it'd speed things along so go ahead!

I think winning initiative is most important. We have a pretty maneuverable ship, so it's easy to guide (almost) wherever I want (as long as I know where the enemy will end movement)

Alright so the enemy pilot rolled a 1 on their attempt to do a Flyby which means, one free attack from any direct fire weapon on the enemy aft as they moved through your space.

I looked around and I didn't see anything about shields actually being capped, so I moved a bit extra just in case. If there is a cap and it was just good at hiding Leila will only move 8sp instead :-)

I was actually planning to take glide minor crew action (to do engineering instead), but wasn't sure if that would be possible since Prospero's pilot skill was already used for initiative. I assume since P-4 was placed in pilot role, he should then take an pilot action.

Hrm... Rolling the Captain's action is working out clunkier than I want. Astrianna, if you're going to be doing a Captain thing for Round 5 please go ahead and roll that as well as your Round 4 roll (mark it as Round 5 Captain act.

We'll go with encouraging pilot initative as a default unless you call out something different.

This way I can take it into account if need be for my rolling and you can RP the result at the appropriate time.

If you want to change what you're doing for round 5 then just call it out before I do the initial rolls for it. otherwise I'll assume you're encouraging initiative, just to speed things along.

Instead I'd suggest we take a quick look at basic supplies and stuff. Healing potions and a few utility ones? Survival gear? Actual supplies maybe :-P

If we've got 1000 credits each, and we're adding credits to the pot, wouldn't the total group loot be 4000+ credits?

What are UPBs?

What is noqual? HSC?

Regarding money, Cueta's got some left over from character creation. I figured, given her backstory, that it didn't make sense for her to come into things geared up, since she was literally plucked out of space, adrift.

So, at some point, she's going to visit a bank, and be pleasantly surprised that the high-risk 1795k that her boss gave his workers as a benifit has accrued a significant amount over the last 75 years.

One of the few perks of working for a warlord is that the benefits are pretty good. The flipside is most workers won't live to retire, but without a body, Cueta's boss was not able to recapture its investment. Thus, Cueta is significantly richer than when she got blown up.

I'd like to purchase a decent gun and a decent melee weapon, but I've got money to do so. Regarding group loot, healing is always good, imo.

The group-loot doesn't include our individual benefits. So everyone has 1k each and we have some extra funds in the group loot pile if we need something.

Like a really cool X that costs 1200 or something :-)

Edit: Noqual is lumps of valuable ore. Iirc it has semi magical properties, it's one of the starmetals in Pathfinder.

HSC is the acronym for a/the miners guild, the ones that operated the ship that found the drift rock.

I'm not 100% on upb - but I think that's paper/physical money or scrip as opposed to more intangible credits. But I'm not sure!


UBP is Universal Polymer Base a substance that can be used to make anything and is traded at a 1:1 ratio with the credit system. It is used in the Crafting system. Basically all you need is
a lab
an amount of UBPs equal to the cost of the item you're making
the appropriate skill
time
and you can make anything. I believe you can only make items of a tier up to your character level.

Year, Prospero can take the spindle stone. So If he gets shipwrecked the online things that kill him in vacuum are boredom and old age :)

You can add Autotarget Rifle and Arc Emitter to the group loot. I don’t have any particular wish to claim them for Prospero.

BTW, what level of gear could we buy? Is it character level +1, or is there some availability check?
