The rat stuck her neck out. Big mistake. Ulfr's club comes crashing down hard and fast!
Foxy retreats to under Ulfr's feet and growls at the foe.
The Wererat snarls at Ulfr after he thumps her with his greatclub, her flesh not caving in from the force that he put into the swing like his body's instinct and training may have been expecting.
You want it again? Ulfr threatens.
Ada raises an eyebrow, "She probably does. Doesn't seem interested in giving up." She give her the evil eye again, and laughs.
Ryn runs across the intervening distance, driving her silver shod fist into the wererat woman's back.

The Wererat lets out a scream as Ryn delivers a cracking punch to her back, all but ignoring Ada in the scuffle. The Gladiatrix could swore she heard a sizzling sound right when her fist connected.
Sarsha waited for her new friend to approach her and get clear of the fighting. When the charmed woman reached her, and seeing that her companions had the rat thing well in hand, Saersha reached out to stroke the tower girl's cheek and said, "What's your name pet? What brought you to serving such a b+!$& as that rat over there?"
"E-Embyr," the girl meekly says, flustered. "They were hiring. It was jobs I'm good at, or I think I'm good at." she quickly adds.
Saersha smiled at Embyr and asked, "And what kind of job was that pet?"
"Um, sneaking, scouting, nabbing."
Azura simply continues to send her inspirational song echoing through the old hallways, with her rapier held close in case someone hostile manages to break through the front lines (though that seems unlikely at this juncture).
"F$~+ this!" the wererat screeches as she turns and flees down the hallway.
Saersha was pleased at how well the spell worked and looked at her new friend. She leaned in close as she stroke the woman's cheek and said, "Well then Embyr, you do those things for me now, and I promise I will be," she pressed closer, "much," her faced moved closer still so her lips were just shy of Embyr's, "more pleasant to work with." She didn't press her lips to her new friend but her manner invited Embyr to cross the distance.
Azura wavers on whether to stay and guard Saersha in case of a mishap, or follow the rest of the team - she pauses to see if they give chase after the wererat.
"F~#% this!" the wererat screeches as she turns and flees down the hallway.
As thier opponent breaks and flees, Ryn spins, building momentum for the throw that sends her shield hurtling through the air at the tower girl's back. "Nope, just you."

"Nice shot!"
Azura clears her throat and resumes her chanting.
Even in the heat of combat, Ryn can't help beaming at Azura's praise.
Embyr stares wide eyed at the Lust Mage, completely fascinated. ”O-Oka-“ she started before the movement and mutual heat enrapturing her made her lips close what sliver of a distance there was left.
Though a spectacular display the shield throw doesn’t make the wererat topple forward, it doesn’t even make her break her stride as she runs.

"Dammit! Lycanthropes are #$%! tough. Ryn mutters as her shield practically bounces off her target's back.
Saersha was pleased at the results of her combination charm and diplomacy as she turned Embyr to their side and wrapped her fingers in the hair at the back of the rogue's head as she deepened the kiss and claimed Embyr's mouth as her own. When she broke the kiss she firmly pulled the woman's head back by her grip, firmly, but not painfully, and smiled as she said, "You are mine now Pet, behave and you will be rewarded, don't and you will be punished." She leaned in again, tilting Embyr's head to one side as she whispered into the woman's ear, "Understand?" To encourage a proper response she began to kiss Embyr's neck teasingly.
Ulfr charges after the rat. I'll get her!
”Uh-huh,” Embyr replied drunkenly to Saersha’s ministrations. ”I mean, uh, yes.”
Grabbing up her shield, Ryn turns, her eyes going from Azura to Saersha and her new girl-toy."Zev, keep them safe." she says to the stalwart Nidalese warrior. "Coming Ada?" she asks with a grin before racing off after Ulfr
The wererat lets out a snarl as Ulfr manages to keep pace and thwack her.
Zev nods to Ryn.
Pleased with the answer she had gotten Saersha ceased kissing Embyr's neck and said, "Good." She let go of the woman's hair and asked, "So what traps are my friends going to run into chasing that rat thing and how many more 'tower girls' are in there?"
"Uh, there's just the shaft ahead, and I don't know how many of us... them they are... a bunch?"
Stroking Embyr's cheek Saersha asked, "Are any more of them rat creatures like that one?" She pointed in the direction the wererat ran off in.
"Like Sasha? Including Ayala, there's Karisa and recently Ulandia."
Saersha looked up to where her friends had gone and called out, "There are at least three more of those rat creatures in there, be careful!" She let her fingers slide through Embyr's hair and purred, "You're doing well Pet. Keep this up and you will be rewarded." She looked at Zev and said, "We had better follow the others, best to keep up in case there are some that get around behind us." With that she began to walk behind the others and gestured for Embyr to come with her.
Both Zev and Embyr nodded, for different reasons and with different levels of energy. Zev started to moved forward, and when Saersha did so and motioned for the Tower Girl she hoped and quickly moved up behind the Lust Mage.
Further back Natalya shrugs before moving with them as well.
Ada shakes her head at Shasha's sheer charisma, and follows the others into the room after the wererat. "Be careful. I don't want to patch up holes in friends.
Charging after the wererat into the next room and past a fire where... two somethings are roasting and giving off an unpleasant smell Ulfr does not have a problem keeping up as she heads into a hallway to the right. But once she’s in the room she immediately shifts left.
The hallway opens into a massive, and empty, room. The murals in this room are scratched and faded. Several portions of the wall and floor show signs of past chipping. An empty plinth where a statue once stood rests by a small alcove.
Following to the left is the shaft that overlooks where you all first entered the Crow.
A ledge festooned with old bird nests looks out over a shaft dropping nearly two hundred feet to sea level below. A large coil of rope sits on the ground near the shaft, one end anchored to a large piton driven into a crack near the wall. Opposite the shaft is another ledge with a window looking out over Magnimar's harbor. The ceiling is a mere ten feet above, and crisscrossed by a complex tangle of stone arches that support the roof. Between the two ledges, a five-foot-square wooden platform hangs from four thick ropes that hang from the stone arches. The platform is further anchored by two thick ropes to spikes hammered into the walls near the edge of the western ledge, while another pair of ropes hang from the ceiling above, anchored to a hook driven into the wall near the same ledge.
One of the ropes swing back and forth as the wererat steadies herself on the platform, apparently having jumped.
Since Saersha has the charmed tower girl in hand, so to speak, Azura stops her chanting and rushes to catch up with the rest of the group.
Ada comes to a halt at the edge. "I'm not jumping onto that thing." She waits to see if anyone makes the leap or she can see anyone on the platform.
Azura reaches the rear of the group and skids to a halt. "Whoa," she says. "I could probably make that jump but I'm not getting on a swordfight on that beam! Uh, Ulfr, maybe just upend the beam from this side so she falls into the water?"
"I'll go first." Ryn says, taking a few steps back.Taking aa deep breath she runs forward, launching herself into an absolutely spectacular leap that sends her sailing effortlessly across the intervening distance, landing with barely a sound on the platform as she continues to give chase.
Turning just in time to see the Gladiatrix soaring from the ledge to the platform the Wererat hops back reflexively to avoid the armored woman, inadvertently putting put her over the edge.
Swinging her arms there's a slight delay before a scream escapes her mouth as she disappears underneath the platform. A few seconds later there's a loud smacking sound mixed with a slosh.
Saersha and company reached the others just in time for the rat to fall off the platform and go splat. She paused a moment and looked thoughtfully at the platform and then said, "Well, that's one less to deal with now." She turned to her newest plaything and said, "What do you think? Would that fall have killed her?" She looked down slightly towards wherever the bottom likely was, " Oh, and what's down there anyway?"
Emby winces as she hears Sasha hit the water below. "Um, we're almost at the top without going outside. And down below is the entrance we're we keep our boats docked."
Noticing Embyr's wince at Sasha's fate Saersha turned to her latest minion and reached out to cup the woman's face, "Was she a friend of yours this, Sasha? She didn't seem to treat you very well before but I understand if this is hard for you." She leaned in closer as she said, "Just remember the rewards I promise are," she pressed her lips against Embyr's again and gave her a gentle teasing kiss before finishing, "very pleasant."
”No, but that probably hur-“ Embyr’s reply is cut off, literally, by Saersha, leaving the nervous Tower Girl with a dazed look. ”Okay.”
