The next day, Remaio meets you at the lodge again. "If you're up for the next adventure, let me know and I'll coordinate the transport. You fine gentlemen are heading to near Almas next. That's in Andoran, by the way." clarifies Remaio to those of you who appear to have a question mark above their head at the mention of Almas.

Remaio asks you to visit his distant cousin, Vereena Alcasti, and investigate her trove of family heirloom for evidence of Honaria’s accomplishments. He tells you that she lives in the rural Carpenden region of Andoran (northeast of Almas).

Remaio provides you all with a map of Andoran’s countryside and pays for your transportation costs. After traveling by boat to Almas, Andoran’s capital, you journey via west carriage across the Carpenden Plains, along increasingly narrow roads. Along the way, you pass dozens of small farming villages. Vereena’s homestead is isolated, several miles from the nearest village. The final stretch of the journey takes you all on footpaths that are barely wide enough for a single horse, let alone a carriage.

Then you finally see fields of overgrown crops surround a squat, shingle-roofed farmhouse. A pair of clay pots filled with cheerful yellow marigolds stands to either side of the house’s front door. Broken boards covered in graffiti are nailed over the door and windows.

The painted words across the boards are written in a strange language...

A rusty tin bell hangs from a bit of twine near the door. Ringing the bell produces no response from within. Both exterior doors are secured with rusty old locks.

Once she grasps Soldiers Glory she feels, well, more. Strapping her own longsword to her backpack, she now uses Soldier's Glory as her main weapon.

"Is it just me, or do the flowers seem out of place? I mean, the place is all boarded up, and looks almost abandoned. But then these flowers are here, all cheery like."

Actually for skills that need training its capped 10 is maxed. Like knowledge skills. If you are untrained max is 10 + skill modfier. For skills that can be done untrained it is your roll + skill modifier (example Survival).

Throwing the coil down the hole he steps along the fence while holding the grapple hook end of the rope. Ready to us his own body against the fence as an anchor if required. "Here, see to Beilsi!"

Umberto rushes to the pit to try to help Bielsi. Move action to get to the pits ledge. Can I climb down safely with the rope? If so, i'll do that and heal next turn.

The sword flares to life as if the call of battle finally opens all of her senses at once! "I can see again! I can seeee!! Kim, take me to the hole and hand me over to Umberto! Umberto: grasp me carefully by the pommel, not the blade, then tap Bielsi's shoulder gently!"

Assuming Kim complies and moves to the hole and takes a move action to hand over the blade to Umberto (tapping by Umberto is a free action), the healing power is transferred to Bielsi in the amount of:

Bielsi has only a moment to yelp in surprise before the sickening moment when he is in freefall disappears. The pain he feels when he hits the bottom is so intense that it blessedly lasts just an instant.

Zarisha appears before him a jealous expression on her face before a wave of warmth washes over him. A smug look comes to her and she disappears back into his consciousness.
