So here are the three colonists outside the Louis Wu . I'm posting their stats, so those who've stayed behind on the vessel can play them, rather than just doing nothing (though, in Traveller terms, they're pretty sad characters).
Brellin is a medical clinician, while Buhre is a veterinary tech. They're both off-worlders. Gart is an Engarno native, and an outdoorsman, of sorts.
Their motivation is getting the precious serum back to their friends and loved ones, suffering from the disease back in their small village, some 55 km. away.

Sorry for the extended absence without notice, folks. The family member that had congestive heart failure has been moved to a permanent care facility and I am one of the ones tasked with emptying her apartment and sorting through her things. I've been spending every day working from 8 AM to about 8 PM at that, then coming home and doing work for the convention that I am helping put on in a month. We have to get this done as soon as possible, because they want to rent out the apartment. I don't know how long this is going to take, but it shouldn't be more than another week, tops. I don't blame anyone for dropping me, or dropping out of my game, but I hope you will stick with it.

I just underwent further eye surgery and will not be able to make large posts, or may be slow in posting (I can only use my ipad). So please either bot me, or I will try to post. I am also move to a new job in a few weeks, so that is playing merry havoc with things here as well. Moving far north into the Northwest Territories. Should have internet on arrival. Thanks ans sorry for the delays

[Con Mode] I have a convention in less than two weeks (March 4-6) at which I am the Game Operations Director (presiding over the game room). I will try to keep a regular pace, but if I fall behind, that's why. These last two weeks are the most hectic. Just letting everyone know.

Wow, 3 years and some 1400+ posts later.
You guys must really be masochistic!
That really didn't follow the track I expected; I figured like most amoral murder-hobos as soon as you heard about their being a treasure on Engarno (the emeralds) you would be off mixing it up with the terrorists and rebels.
I commend you on staying scrupulously in character, and steadfastly holding to your humanitarian mission.
So, do you want to end it here, with our trio winging off to a well-earned rest?
Are their loose ends you want to see tied up? You want to go to the next episode in the these character's career.
I thank you for bearing with me, I realize that pace was a little slow; but I think a somewhat interesting story unfolded.

I'm in for a penny or a pound. Aurora still has plenty of adventure left in her. This was an enjoyable outing, and I applaud our GM!
| Anson Fineline |
Indeed, thanks to you and to everyone for getting this far!
And the treasure would have been nice, but on Anson's end, the fact that we were getting assaulted at all sides meant we probably wouldn't have an escape route even if we did find the treasure. Also, we'd probably die. And there was the humanitarian mission to think about which had a lot of plot ramifications.
I'd be up for continuing if everyone is! For loose ends, it's mostly what happened to our mission, what kind of impact we had on the whole mess on the Schaler Trivarium, and what happened to Georg.

Posting this in all my games:
Some of you may or may not be aware, but my wife has glaucoma which has already claimed the sight in her right eye and is eating away at the vision in her left. To further complicate matters, she had a cataract removed from her left eye, but during the operation, there was some minor temporary damage to the optic nerve. Long story short, it should heal in two to three months, but until then, I am her official reader. She can make out blurred images of people and if they speak, she is pretty good at recognizing voices, but she can't read anything.
Further, I am the only one of us who drives, since her vision started getting worse last year, so I have to take her to any and all doctor's appointments. About once every two weeks, she has to go to Tulane in New Orleans, about 90 miles away (and that's not to mention local appointments, errands, shopping trips, etc.). So if I seem slow to respond or post, please bear with me. If I am a player, bot me as needed. If I am your GM, rest assured that I have not forgotten you. I may just have had a hella busy day.

Just so everyone is aware; convention season is upon us again! I serve as the Game Operations Director (that is, the Director of the Game Room) at CoastCon, a local convention in 1.5 months, and this takes up a lot of my already pressed time. So if I am slow to update or respond, please bear with me and bot me as needed.

We're one week out from the convention. As such, my time is getting crunched pretty badly. I'll try to check in as much as possible until Wednesday, after that, don't expect to hear from me until Monday. Please bot me as necessary. If I'm running your game, I ask for your patience. We will continue!
