The small hamlet of Perdition's Point has always been haunted by the shadowy spirits that dwell in the forest of Cadaverwood. Locals from towns bordering the woods share terrifying tales of this haunted town, but the citizens of Perdition's Point would have you believe it's not so bad. But with the recent disappearance of two of the local children, the town is on edge. Who will step up and debunk the chilling mystery? And who was responsible for such heinous crimes?

Get rid of a know-it-all cat, replace it with a know-it-all inquisitor. Just what Trusk needs to get his blood boiling. Maybe I should have made him a barbarian instead?
TRAVEL NOTICE: I'll be on the road on the 18th (maybe connection at night), making an important exam on the 19th (no connection), and back on the road for the 20th (connection at night, maybe), so please DMPC me if needed. Please try not to get me killed.
Well I had a post composed to post to ask the group, though I didn't get it up between the up and down of the site. If everyone is okay with it, I'd like to suggest one of the players that applied for the other games opening. Take a look at the applicants and let me know what you think. I'll hold my thoughts to myself for now.
I'll pick someone and let you all know. I have to take care of some things that just came up here at work before I can do anything like that.
Post your readied actions, and I'll hopefully process it by sometime tonight. I did say, that if I had things wrong for you to go ahead and post what it should have been.
Sorry guys. Don't expect something from me tonight. I worked 2 hours unplanned overtime today, to get home and eat only to get a work call. RL decided to not be nice today.

RL isn't playing nice with me either. I got hit with that snowstorm early yesterday morning and it dumped about 8 inches of snow over the course of 3 or 4 hours. Plow trucks didn't really do anything until about 3 hours after it stopped snowing, by which time I had already tried to drive home and gotten stuck. Putting chains on my tires didn't really help either, because my little econobox sits so low that I was pushing snow.
It's now been 16 hours since the snow first started and, aside from the interstates, the roads still look like they haven't been touched. A couple weeks ago, when we got warnings for 3-4 inches of snow, the plows were out two days beforehand, throwing salt. This time, when we got warnings for 6"+, they had a single truck out for the entire county and it didn't even come out until almost 3 hours after the snow started.
Sometimes, I really hate my state and how bass-ackwards it can be.
That probably finished it off Wylliam, but, if Luthor pins it, you might as well do a Coup de Gras on it, automatic crit as a full round action. Make sure it's dead, and no attack roll to fail (which is good considering how the die roller's been doing us lately). :)
Well, you can roll of course, but it's impossible to do less damage on an autocrit than what you rolled.
Your static multiplier is +3. That means you do a minimum of 8 on a crit. 6 + 1 per die. So, (1, 1) + 6 = 8. Since you rolled 6 the first time, it's impossible to do less damage than the normal roll you made.
Actually, since your max roll on a normal hit is 6+3 = 9, and the minimum on the crit is 8...
Something entirely different, some GM make their own maps, some use the standards from the pdf. What is the easiest and moderately good looking tool for creating battlemaps?
Google drawings always worked for me. You can create something entirely new, can use the scanned map if you have it (download it from the net) as background, everyone can move their tokens, so, I would say take the image pieces you want from the net and throw them at the google drawings.

You know, I really don't understand why Disrupt Undead isn't on the cleric spell list. It's just about the only damage dealing cantrip that really fits as a cleric spell, but we don't get it. Instead, we get a lot of cantrips that really don't help much in combat.
Maybe because clerics deal with energies, as positive and negative, and to do that he would need to summon positive energy, which he can as a 1st level spell or channel.
But arcane casters disrupt the flesh with necromantic energies... Envy me!
(just kidding I too get bored by the fact)
For maps, depends on if its an in person game or over the internet. I tend to draw my in person maps on graph paper, but for my internet ones, I've used Maptools to make some. Others, if they have maps provided, I've ripped from the pdf. (Acrobat 8 is my friend! The newer versions don't let you do this.) Paizo's nice and lets me pull .Tiff versions out of their books. I then change them to .jpegs to put them up in google docs and not have to worry about size issues. Or... roll20 if it's my every other week WoTR game.
I'm considering getting Fractal Mapper 8, but I need to make sure I can run it properly in Wine since the laptop I use at home is a mac.
I had a look at the selective "dungeon painter". Not all too complicated, although with google drawing, the grid doesn't always fall in place with the grid from dungeon painter.
But it's easy enough for starters

Kinda figured there was a reason. But I've had players disappear from other games that I'm in when posting just barely lagged for a week, and even had a GM disappear without warning before.
So i figured I'd check in and make sure it was known that I'm sticking with it.

Well, that's both interesting and kinda disappointing. I didn't know Paizo had a profanity filter. While I can see why they do, since they try to be family-friendly and all that, I kinda wish it was an option that you could enable or disable in your account settings or something.
