Lannior Llarm
|
Seeing Ranor readying by the door. Lannior looks around to see if there are any prying eyes.
Perception: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (11) + 7 = 18
Lannior draws his bow, notches an arrow and gets ready to rush into the warehouse when everyone is ready.
Let the others casually know that the street has eyes. Gets ready to move on and come back a few minutes later when no one is around.
| GM Rutseg |
Ranor starts pushing the door helped by Lionel. Unsure of breaking through with a burst the paladin sets himself against the door with care, and looking carefully for the different hinges, braces against the doorstep to slowly break the door. The wood starts cracking.
15d20 ⇒ (13, 12, 4, 17, 5, 12, 12, 7, 18, 16, 13, 13, 14, 10, 7) = 173
5d20 ⇒ (18, 5, 12, 7, 6) = 48
Lionel: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 2 = 5
Ranor: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (6) + 1 = 7
After one minute pushing and cracking, the door finally collapses in front of the combined strength of the couple.
What you see inside is a dimly lighted storehouse. Hundreds of boxes and crates conform small corridors within the structure, some of the piles up to 20 feet high.
Even after the dust from the broken door settles down, there is no trace of any inhabitant. At least from your current position.
Lannior draws his bow and moving closer to the door couple, notches an arrow in his elven weapon.
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Eveline wanders about the roof, taking careful steps not to alert anyone below the ceiling. She is looking for a possible skylight, or any opening that would give her a lookout to the warehouse below.
Stealth: 1d20 + 13 - 1 ⇒ (2) + 13 - 1 = 14
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (14) + 8 = 22 (My stat line had an old modifier)
| GM Rutseg |
Eveline seems unable to find any hole from where to see inside the construction.
Green stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Red stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (13) + 6 = 19
Lannior (may only see red): 1d20 + 7 - 7 ⇒ (3) + 7 - 7 = 3
Lionel: 1d20 + 2 - 1 ⇒ (15) + 2 - 1 = 16
Numair (may only see red): 1d20 + 11 - 9 ⇒ (11) + 11 - 9 = 13
Ranor: 1d20 + 1 - 1 ⇒ (10) + 1 - 1 = 10
Eveline: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11
Lannior: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (2) + 3 = 5
Lionel: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (4) + 6 = 10
Numair: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Ranor: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15
Foes: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Lionel listens how one crate is moving above Ranor's head. Regretfully, the sound distracts him from someone hiding behind the boxes in front of him that suddenly hurls an object behind him.
Throw thunderstone (cover): 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (19) + 2 = 21
The stone explodes on striking the hard surface with a deafening bang!
Ranor For DC 15 (sonic): 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (9) + 7 = 16
Lionel For DC 15 (sonic): 1d20 + 5 ⇒ (14) + 5 = 19
Although both pathfinders have a painful whistle in their ears, they somehow recover fast and are able to hear with some difficulty.
Warned by the crate moving over Ranor's head, Lionel is fast to react.
You can climb to the crates with a DC 5 (two checks for top), or jump over with a DC 15 acrobatics (two checks for top), or leap directly to the top DC 30
Surprise round:
Foes, Lionel
Round 1:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Bold can act, Lionel in the surprise round with a single standard action.
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
|
Can I attack over the crates? I'll assume I can't, but in case I can, I'll attack.
Attack, if possible: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
Lionel shouts, "Aw, hell! An' there someon' over ya head, Ranor! Ya betta move 'fore there's a crate fallin' on ya head." and swings towards the man with the red bandana. Unfortunately, the many crates in the way prevent the cleric from getting a decent swing.
Lionel waves his hand. A beam of light shines on his spear as he sets it against the man. Casting True Strike
| GM Rutseg |
Lionel is unable to see the man pushing behind the crate, and thus, he casts a true strike spell.
The crate finally loses balance and fells over Ranor's head!
Ref DC 14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
But the human dodges it just to see another crate falling from the northern pile.
Ref DC 14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (12) + 4 = 16
He demonstrates real skill jumping to the side again avoiding the wooden box that breaks on the floor making it difficult to walk through.
This square is now difficult terrain
Ranor can see now a thug over the northern crates standing with amused face. The one to the west, disappears within the crates after pushing his one.
Meanwhile, the man hiding behind the corner next to Lionel shouts in Common "Yes! You were right! Assailants!". He holds a treated wooden stick and making a movement he makes it to burn. There is an instant burst that creates a thick layer of opaque smoke that fills great part of the corridor.
You see how the man moves deeper in the smoke losing his sight.
Cannot see anything farther away than 5 feet through the smoke
Round 1:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Everybody can act.
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Eveline is at a loss since she didn't find any sort of opening, and is a bit disappointed. When she hears the commotion downstairs, she shakes her head a bit. A bit too soon.
Unsure how to aid her comrades, she walks around aimlessly on the roof, trying to find some sort of a trapdoor or a weak spot in the roof to get herself down. If all else fails, she heads to the back of the warehouse in case anyone inside decides to escape.
Perception: 1d20 + 8 ⇒ (15) + 8 = 23 (to find a secret door, or a weak spot)
Strength: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (4) + 1 = 5 (if a weak spot is found, intending to break it open)
| GM Rutseg |
Eveline sees no sign of openings. The structure seems to be a store room and there is no chimney or similar things usually found in halfling houses. The most she finds is a patch near the center where the boards are specially worn away and the nails have suffered considerable ageing.
She delivers a hit with her bow but the wood does not suffer any visible damage.
You hear sounds of hits on the roof of the building, like if someone is trying to break through.
Numair gets inside the structure.
Round 1:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Ranor
|
After them. Ranor yells as the boxes fall all around him. The large splinters bounce off of his thick shield.
As the smoke begins to fill the area Ranor looks about frantically as he does not want to strike any of his comrades.
Ranor begins to try to climb the crates but has little luck.
Climb: 1d20 + 3 - 4 ⇒ (5) + 3 - 4 = 4
Seeing little chaince of the large man climbing a crate he turns and leaves out the side door.
I am going to circle around to the back.
Numair Salmalin
|
Ummm...Ranor, there's a gap over near where Numair is, which may go around the crates. The only other entrance looked like it is much better constructed then the side one, so it might be a tad difficult to go through it...
Lannior Llarm
|
Can I see at least part of the green outlined man?
Lannior steps into the warehouse looking around.
Lannior takes a shot at the man.
Long Bow w_Point Blank Shot: 1d20 + 4 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 = 6
damage: 1d8 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
GM not sure what to apply as far as cover and concealment, please adjust accordingly.
Edit: nevermind!
Lannior continues to move toward Ranor.
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
|
Could I roll perception to hear which square in the fog the man is? If so, Perception: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
Lionel takes a step towards the fog and grins. "Tha sting guides ma hand!", as he closes his eyes and swings towards the square where he perceives the man to be.
True Strike lets me ignore concealment miss chance.
Attack: 1d20 + 26 ⇒ (10) + 26 = 36
Damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
| GM Rutseg |
Ranor@ the smoke would not let you see the corridor the thug used, but your companions can tell you one enemy took that direction.
Lionel attempts to strike through the smoke, but the thick cloud does not allow him to see the enemy.
Understanding the thug has flight away, Ranor follows Numair within the smoke reaching a corner where the corridor follows behind the crates.
Lannior steps into the warehouse and fires at the man standing over the crates (yellow), but the poor light and the position makes him to fail aiming.
I have changed this to yellow because I had wrongly placed 2 greens.
Feel free to apply concealment to your attacks (I will do it if you do not), but leave cover entirely to me. I will always assume you are not applying it and will add it to the creature AC. That said, let me know if you have a feat or trait that allows you to modify or ignore normal cover rules please :)
The man answers by attacking back Lannior with his light crossbow.
Yellow Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
I will apply no darkness concealment at 10 feet around the entrance door because there is enough light entering from outside
But Lannior, used to elven ranged contests, dodges the bolt with ease.
Another man, dressed with a blue cap appears next to the yellow one over the crates, and aims his crossbow at Lionel.
Blue Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5
The bolt is easily deflected by the cleric armor.
On going around the corner, you observe another cloud of smoke at the other side of the crates corridor. Some crates are broken just in front, making this difficult terrain.
Before you can react, you notice one of the thugs in the border of the smoke moving, he seemed to be ready for you to appear there and before you can finish your movement a bolt flies over you.
Readied Red Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (11) + 2 = 13
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 6
Darkness misschance 20%: 1d100 ⇒ 53
Stealth: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (2) + 6 = 8
If you are hit, roll a perception check, if you do not beat the Stealth roll, apply also the Sneak attack
Sneak attakc: 1d6 ⇒ 4
Round 2:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Eveline tries again to punt the weak spot on the roof with her foot.
Strength check to break open: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (13) + 1 = 14
"Damnit! No use, gotta go back down!" Eveline curses and head back down.
How high the warehouse is? Eveline would like to climb down to 10 feet and then jump down using acrobatics.
Climb: 1d20 + 8 - 1 ⇒ (20) + 8 - 1 = 27
Acrobatics: 1d20 + 6 - 1 ⇒ (5) + 6 - 1 = 10
| GM Rutseg |
Red Will DC 16: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 = 3
A pattern of lights springs from Numair's hands and the thug with the red bandanna starts to spin with his head and finally falls to the ground unconscious and covered by smoke.
I feel that one is out of the game xD
After other failed attempt to break through the roof, Eveline decides to descend the 30 feet warehouse. She uses her great climbing skill to reach the ground in few seconds by hanging by the border and helping herself with one of the dirty windows.
Those rolls seem enough for me to descend in 1 round without damage
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Round 2:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Ranor
|
Ranor rushes around the corner as he sees Numair has laid one of the thugs out.
You got him? Ranor calls out to Numair.
Double move
Lannior Llarm
|
2 against 1 -- that's not sporting!
No precise shot or anything cool, I'll let you roll the concealment as you know best how much they have.
Also are they humans? If so favored enemy kicks in. They look human on the map, if not subtract it from my rolls. I'll always target a human if there is one :)
The man in the blue cap looks uglier to Lannior so he takes aim on him firing his bow again.
Long Bow + Point Blank + Favored Enemy: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (6) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 13
damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 2 = 4
After firing he runs for cover, as he is not fond of acquiring crossbow bolt holes.
Move behind boxes, ducking down.
| GM Rutseg |
I wanted to wait for Lionel but I will not be able to post later, and I do not want to hold the turn too much. Thus, I will proceed and allow him to act twice
Ranor follows Numair finding the unconscious thug on the floor.
Lannior shots at one of the humans over the crates but he is able to dodge the arrow in the last moment. The elf conceals himself in the smoke behind the crates disappearing from the warehouse occupants sight.
"Whom is sending you?!" shouts one of the men in the crate "You are going to suffer for this" adds the other in a clearly despised voice.
Both of them shot at the cleric standing in the entrance hall.
I will consider Lionel covers behind the crates for a +4 to AC
Yellow Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 4
Blue Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (20) + 2 = 22
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5
Crit?: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (10) + 2 = 12
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 5
One of the bolts hits the cleric in the face causing him some pain.
The green bandanna man shots at Numair understanding he is a wizard of sorts.
Green Light crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (7) + 2 = 9
Piercing damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
He retreats one step behind shouting "They got Rob!!!!"
All the men reload their crossbows afterwards.
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Lionel: 5 damage
Round 3:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Ranor
|
Ranor continues to push on towards the men as quickly as his armor will allow him to.
You are very well spoken for common thugs.
Double Move
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
|
A loud roar is heard from Lionel. "Not tha face... again...", as he runs forward around the corner. "Ya doin' fine in there?", he says as he turns the corner and sees the turn of events.
Double Move
Lannior Llarm
|
Lannior rushes onward into the warehouse.
Also double move
| GM Rutseg |
The angle is awkward as they are over 10' crates, but I will go with it
Blue Will DC 16: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (18) + 1 = 19
Yellow Will DC 16: 1d20 + 1 ⇒ (12) + 1 = 13
Another spray of colors springs from Numair's hands covering the thugs eyes. The one in yellow armor falls unconscious over the crates.
The rest of the party advances through the crates corridors as fast as they can while Eveline attempts to catch up from the outside.
The thug in front of Ranor draws a cutlass and attacks the human paladin.
Cutlass: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Damage: 1d6 ⇒ 3
When the armor deflects the blade, the man steps back into the crates with scared face.
Over the crates, the man ignoring the colorful pattern, draws a small ceramic stone, and throws it in the middle of the corridors "Gral! Take that bastards!". A deafening explosion burst within the party!
Throw thunderstone AC 5: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (4) + 2 = 6
Lannior For DC 15: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (15) + 4 = 19
Numair For DC 15: 1d20 + 3 ⇒ (11) + 3 = 14
Ranor For DC 15: 1d20 + 7 ⇒ (10) + 7 = 17
The shock is too much for Numair's ears, the sorcerer tries to overcome the explosion but he is a bit confused when he realises all the noise of the combat dissappears from his surroundings.
Ranor and Lannior can hear a intense whistle in their ears for some seconds.
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Yellow: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Lionel: 5 damage
Numair: deafened 1 hour
Round 4:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Lannior Llarm
|
Lannior moves forward so the man in the blue hat is in point blank range and lets fly another arrow above the crates.
Long Bow + Point Blank + Favored Enemy: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (2) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 9 damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 = 8
| GM Rutseg |
Liannor is still confused by the sudden sonic burst and his arrow hits the wall behind the thug over the crates.
Dim light misschance: 1d100 ⇒ 84
Ranor instead is very precise and his flail crushes the man with the cutlass just in front. With a last attempt to stand holding himself against the crates wall, he fells to the ground with a sharp sound.
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Yellow: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Green: 11 damage, unconscious
Lionel: 5 damage
Numair: deafened 1 hour
Round 4:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
|
"Woah!", shouts Lionel as the explosive bang sounds in the warehouse. He runs past the unconcious individuals, jumping over the bodies of the two men. He strides past the guy with the blue bandana, trying to cut his way out.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (17) + 6 = 23
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (12) + 6 = 18
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (3) + 6 = 9
damage: 1d8 + 6 ⇒ (1) + 6 = 7
"It's gonna be a big disappointin' experience, if it turns out not ta be her warehouse, won't it?", says Lionel to Ranor as they trap the man in between them.
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Eveline hustles as fast as she can. It'll take a while before she can join the fray. Once inside the warehouse, she pulls her longbow in case her companions have left her a target.
Double move. Does Eveline see the blue thug on top of the crates?
| GM Rutseg |
The party moves around the warehouse starting to gain control of the location.
Eveline enters in the building seeing a man over crates wearing a blue bandanna and a crossbow. The light is dim inside the warehouse.
Affected by the silence, Numair reacts quickly and closes by the unconscious man on the smoke. He looks for something to tie up the man.
One of the crates starts to move over Ranor head, the thing falls unexpectedly!
Ref DC 14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (1) + 4 = 5
Bludgeoning damage: 1d4 + 3 ⇒ (4) + 3 = 7
The sudden attack takes the paladin focused in the last thug and unprepared! It hits him in the head making him to fall to the ground!
Lannior sees a man with purple bandanna over the crates where the one that fell over Ranor was a second before.
The other one shots his crossbow over Lionel.
Crossbow+higher ground: 1d20 + 2 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 2 + 1 = 19
P damage: 1d8 ⇒ 7
Dim light misschance: 1d100 ⇒ 22
The bolt finds a crevice in the cleric's armor causing him a considerable wound in the right arm.
Finding himself surrounded, he reloads the crossbow and gets cover laying on the top of the crates.
1d20 ⇒ 10
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Yellow: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Green: 11 damage, unconscious
Blue: prone
Ranor: 15/22 hp, prone
Lionel: 7/19 hp
Numair: deafened 1 hour
Round 5:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Lannior Llarm
|
Lannior shocked by the surprise of the crates falling wheels around and sees the man in purple. He takes aim hoping to finally find the mark.
Long Bow + Point Blank + Favored Enemy: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (13) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 20
damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (5) + 1 + 2 = 8
He then darts away into the cover of the crates and smoke.
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne
|
Wouldn't shooting a crossbow provoke? Just curious?
Lionel grunts as he's being shot again, his foes once again retreating. As a crate falls on Ranor, he shouts, "I am tired of these damn crates in this damn warehouse!", as he takes a step forward and attempts to take down the foe who shot him.
I'll take a 5ft step, draw a morningstar and attack him from behind the crate.
Lionel draws a incredibly heavy looking cane from his belt, the head the shape of a gilded skull, as he takes a step towards the man with the blue bandana and swings over the crate.
Attack: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (5) + 6 = 11 Bonuses if he's prone, I guess.
Damage: 1d8 + 4 ⇒ (2) + 4 = 6
Ranor
|
Ranor stands, holding a hand to his head. A small trickle of blood drips from his brow as he sees stars. Placing a hand to his head he is able to stop the bleeding momentarily.
Move action to stand; swift action to lay on hands
Lay on Hands: 1d6 ⇒ 2
Shaking his head Ranor grips his flail once again and swings it at the man dropping crates.
If the guy is out of reach Ranor will start smashing crates from underneath the thug.
Flail: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (15) + 6 = 21
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (3) + 3 = 6
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Similarly when making a ranged attack one does not gain the benefit of higher ground. The bolt would hit still, though.
This warehouse is doing something odd to Lionel, he learned to speak properly, Eveline ponders for a fleeting moment, raising her longbow and aiming at the blue bandana man. Although she can only see the man only slightly, she's quite confident in her skills.
Longbow + PBS: 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (15) + 8 + 1 = 24 vs. blue w/ cover? w/ prone?
Damage (piercing): 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (2) + 1 + 1 = 4
| GM Rutseg |
While Numair ties up the man in front, Lannior shots a good placed arrow hitting the man in the left shoulder "Argh! Holly snowballs! You damaged me elf!"
Lionel@ yep! The men are over the crates at 10' over the ground though. Even closing up to them, they will have cover respect you avoiding the AoO if we apply the cover rules vertically the same way we do horizontally.
I failed with the higher ground bonus though, as Eveline points out I double checked and in fact only serves to melee attacks, sorry for that!
Lionel draws a heavy cane and attempts to hit the man, but he seems to be to high for him to reach it and the attack lands on the top layer of crates under the man's chest.
Similarly Ranor smashes with strength the crate under his attackers feet. The wood is hard but some splinters jump off.
Eveline refines her aim and a well placed arrow goes through the right foot of the pirate who curses in loud voice.
Dim light misschance: 1d100 ⇒ 79
The man turns to the door side and shots a bolt at Eveline while he ducks over the crate using it to his advantage to protect himself against Lionel readied attacks.
Crossbow: 1d20 + 2 ⇒ (18) + 2 = 20
P damage: 1d8 ⇒ 8
The shot takes the halfling by surpise and hits her in the chest causing a great wound.
At the other side of the corridor, the other man steps to the side and pushes another crate over Ranor!
Ref DC 14: 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (10) + 4 = 14
But the paladin is ready this time, and he dodges the wooden box letting it crash over the floor!
Seeing the lack of effect of his strategy this time and his wounds, the man seems to the point of surrendering.
I understand the scene might be a bit confusing because it is hard to reflect vertical conditions in the map. Imagine piles of crates, from 10 to 20 feet high. They are pushing the top layer over you, while standing their feet over the 10 feet layer :/
Red: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Yellow: unconscious, blind, stunned, etc.
Green: 11 damage, unconscious
Blue: 4 prone
Purple: 8 damage
Ranor: 15/22 hp
Lionel: 7/19 hp
Numair: deafened 1 hour
Eveline: 10/18 hp
Round 6:
Foes, Numair, Ranor, Eveline, Lionel, Lannior
Lannior Llarm

Looking at the point of surrendering and actually surrendering are two different things. And not hearing a formal declaration from the purple clothed man, Lannior darts back into the open takes aim and gives no quarter.
Move then shoot at purple.
Long Bow + Point Blank + Favored Enemy: 1d20 + 4 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (1) + 4 + 1 + 2 = 8
damage: 1d8 + 1 + 2 ⇒ (3) + 1 + 2 = 6
But once again the adrenaline of the fight, sees his arrow whizz far over the purple man's head.
sigh...this dice roller! lol
Ranor
|
Ranor continues to smsh crates with his flail in an attempt to bring the man crashing down to the ground.
Get down here!
Flail: 1d20 + 6 ⇒ (16) + 6 = 22
Damage: 1d8 + 3 ⇒ (5) + 3 = 8
Eveline Bleakrock
|
Shouldn't the blue bandana man get a miss chance roll for dim light as well?
Eveline yelps in pain as the arrow hits her right in the chest. Fortunately the arrow broke and didn't puncture her, or it wasn't left inside of her. Still, blood gushes out and momentarily Eveline is shocked, holding her hand to press the wound.
"You'll pay dearly for that!"
She raises her bow once more and lets the arrow fly.
Longbow attack (+ PBS): 1d20 + 8 + 1 ⇒ (16) + 8 + 1 = 25
Miss chance: 1d100 ⇒ 40 (1-20)
Damage (piercing) + PBS: 1d6 + 1 + 1 ⇒ (1) + 1 + 1 = 3
| GM Rutseg |
Lannior sends another arrow at the man pushing crates but only hits the lower level of the pile.
Ranor continues smashing the crate in front full of rage, splinters jump back and forth and the crate starts to crack.
Meanwhile Numair takes his time to tie up the other unconscious man before he fully recovers.
I have been playing it as if there is clear light entering through the door
Eveline points at the laying man, hitting at the other foot, the thug cursing "Ok, ok, I surrender, you won" he throws his crossbow to the floor while he tries to stand up before Lionel can smash him down.
Seeing how his other colleague is being pierced and trying to hold his wound as to no aggravate, the last man also holds his other hand up in signal of surrender "Who are you? What do you want?"
Combat is over!
Red: tied up, stunned
Yellow: tied up, stunned
Green: 11 damage, unconscious
Blue: 7 damage
Purple: 8 damage
Ranor: 15/22 hp
Lionel: 7/19 hp
Numair: deafened 1 hour
Eveline: 10/18 hp
Lionel "The Lion" Wynne

Lionel sheathes his cane on his belt and nods, taking a couple of steps towards the bleeding foe. "Lemme help ya, brotha.", his hand raising in the air as a swarm of translucent wasps flies towards the man's wounds, stitching them up. "Ain't gonna heal ya, but you should be a'right.", he says as he looks at the surrendering man. "Well, we's here lookin' for a pirate woman. Alija was her name, and her people be draggin' folk in this here warehouse. Know anythin' 'bout that?", he asks the man standing up from behind the crates.
| GM Rutseg |
"Ok, we work for her, but we have done nothing bad. We were just told to hold the theologian here and defend the warehouse from any intruders that might want to come in" the most injured one tells with the other looking at him stern "Just shut up Scar. Aleija will kill us"
