Basically why is it cheaper AND have the expansion in it? Not that I will not be getting it but just curious. Sean |

Are the components inferior? Basically why is it cheaper AND have the expansion in it? A couple of things. The first version had painted wood pawns. Because of all the issues with proving that the painted pawns weren't full of lead and such, we decided to go with cardboard characters representing the various people trying to kill the good doctor instead. We also found a really good printing price that allowed us to drop the price to the $29.99, a pricepoint that we were always aiming for but couldn't because of the printing price. Now, are the cardboard characters with all new art inferior to generic painted pawns? I guess that is something that each person will have to answer for themselves. Personally, I think that it is a step up in quality. -Lisa |
