How do you want me to handle conversion to the final rules? Though it would be a simple matter of converting Yurgan's classes and abilities straight across, the changes to spell specialization and concentration makes the viability of his current build questionable at best.

By the way, best wishes to Taliesin/Tate. I hope he and his family are okay. He lives in Taiwan, which was just catastrophically struck by typhoons.
Thank you.
Morakot was a heavy one. I live on the fifteenth floor. Our building was swaying about a foot and a half.
My wife and son are fine.
My father comitted suicide yesterday in South Africa, and I am the only member of my family who is definitely able to attend his funeral and administer his estate. He and I were very close. I will not be on the boards for a while.

I've been giving the changes between beta and core a lot of thought, and though for the most part they were small a few key components to Yurgan's build were rather completely modified. With your permission, Nightwish, I'd like to rebuild his as an arcane trickster.

That'll be fine, if you want to do that. Sorry it took so long for me to respond, by the way - I spent a few days in the hospital.

Sorry by the way, I was GenCon then worked all through labor day and now it's Fashion Week in New York, which is even worse work wise can't even finish my conversion. Been busy but I'm still part of this game !
By Thursday next week I can breath a little bit easier.

I'm fine. Blame the humidity! It's not as bad as, say, Florida, but with the Mississippi and Missouri rivers both flowing about a handspan from my apartment, it can still get pretty muggy around here. And you could have bowled me over with this revelation, but apparently you're not supposed to rely solely on soda for your water intake during hot and humid temperatures!

I'm sorry for my absence; I had stopped checking daily for updates to my question. I believe Yurgan's now up to date, and I'll get caught up on things as soon as possible.

No problem, just bring him back in whenever you're ready. The game has been slow-going lately, anyway, most of which is my fault. I've been working two jobs lately, filling in for a friend who is out for the next month recovering from cancer surgery, so I've had a lot more work on my plate than usual. Plus my own recent health problems (I recently found out I have diabetes, which is what ultimately led to my passing out from dehydration a couple weeks ago, thought the lack of pure water in my diet certainly contributed).

Would Dispel Magic nullify the invisibility on the Bugbear? I tried reading up on it and I think it should, except this isn't your normal invisibility is it?

Dispel Magic would have a chance to dispel invisibility (or greater invisibility).

As Hogarth said, it would have a chance of succeeding. You'll need to make a caster level check (1d20 plus your caster level) against the spell's DC.

Wow, I'm thinking I should probably get started on a medication regimen pretty quickly! My blood sugar level was 471 today! After my hospitalization incident a couple weeks ago, I started researching all the other symptoms I've been having, and I'm 99% sure I'm diabetic. Dehydration, excessive thirst, frequent urination, unusual weight loss (27 pounds in two months), unusual fatigue and blurry vision - pretty much all the markers for diabetes. But I'm waiting until after the insurance policy I just bought goes into effect on November 1st before I go back to the doctor and get the official diagnosis, because I don't want my coverage to be limited because of a "pre-existing condition." I'm trying to be very careful about my diet from now until then, but if you guys want to chime in occasionally with a DON'T DRINK SODA OR EAT SWEETS TODAY! message, feel free, as I'm sure I can use the boost to my willpower!

Hehe, seems like moving is the in thing these days. I'm moving this week, after finally finishing the clean-out and fix-up of the house I'm moving into. Should take a week or so.
