Take your actions by initiative order. Water thing always acts last.

How far down the tunnel is the water creature? Is it in melee with the Cat or myself?

Also, initiative results are Leaf (27), Ziss (25), Cat (24), Aehrick (21), Al (16), Luff (15), and Arathalia (14). I wrote it down for my benefit and figured I'd share so nobody else has to.

Do you want us to wait and post in order, or is it ok to post what we plan to do on our initiative to save time?

Leaf Hisical,

26 Symbol Of Groetus avatar

'Yiih!'
Leaf bounces a foot or so into the air, firing light beams reflexively
two ranged touch, ignore damage resistance:
1d20 + 4 ⇒ (3) + 4 = 7

1d20 + 4 ⇒ (11) + 4 = 15

1d6 ⇒ 3

1d6 ⇒ 4
if we're voting here, I much prefer to post actions in any order and then have them adjudicated together (round by round)- hope that makes sense. Thanks for the initiative summary!

Zissaren,

Lizardguy 2 avatar

Zissaren activates his power aura, giving allies within 30ft +1 on damage rolls. Also, it might help if we have some kind of battle map.

As Leaf fires at the monster Zissaren draws his flail and takes a swing at the nearest part of the watery beast.

Attack 1d20+9=20
Damage 1d10+13=16

Jack's Cat,

Crystalcat avatar

Cat does what Cats do best: RUNS! Moves down the side of the sewer, keeping low and close to the ground.

It's okay to post when you can, but actions will resolve themselves in order of initiative. I'll wait for everyone to post, though.

Also, Ziss was moving behind me, I think? So if he's moving up to engage the thing in melee (and there's room) that means I cannot. Am I correct? If this is the case I'll use my racial "Bless" spell.

The tunnel is wide enough for three persons to stand beside each other and for two to fight shoulder to shoulder.

Arathalia Drow'sbane,

FINAL Carlisle PF 3 1 avatar

With a quick curse in her language, Arathalia acts, her eyes seem to boil as motes of black flow upwards filling her eyes and a dark haze seems to settle upon the creature.

swift action hexblade's curse using 2 hex points to have curse last until her turn in round 3. DC 15 WILL SAVE OR -2 ON EVERYTHING

Her slender hand extends an a bolt of pure silver light lances forward, a swirling mist tracing it's path.

Eldritch blast ranged touch 1d20 + 4 ⇒ (13) + 4 = 17 1d6 ⇒ 2

Cheliax nightflier,

Monster lunges towards Leaf, but lantern easily escapes massive jaws. Simultaneously, lesser heads try to snap Luff and Zissaren, ignoring everyone else, but they fail as well. On the other hand, everything that you threw at the water worm just passes through its body. Water splashes around the tunnel and the smell of cookies and sugar becomes even stronger.

Cheliax nightflier,

Asmodeus 2 avatar

Next round. Monster always acts last.

Leaf Hisical,

26 Symbol Of Groetus avatar

Spinning wildly to avoid the massed jaws, Leaf notes with dismay the seeming invulnerability of their foe
'Al, ever read anything about this kind of creature? Anyone know any legends? Preferably ones that include helpful hints about how to drive it off.'
attempting to find a moments respite in the lee of Zissaran's attack, Leaf casts shield defensive casting1d20 + 5 ⇒ (10) + 5 = 15

Arathalia Drow'sbane:
It seems obvious to you that the creature is tied to elemental plane of water. But there is some subtle difference that you notice, but can't quite grasp.

Perception check, everybody.

Alderthane,

Alderthane continues to hold his cane in a defensive stance whilst trying to identify the creature.

Zissaren,

Lizardguy 2 avatar

Seeing that his attack merely splashed some water about Zissaren pulls back against the wall of the tunnel and swings his flail, attempting to fend off the watery jaws.

Total defense until I can work out what else to do. AC 29 for the rest of the round.
Perception check 1d20+6 = 20

Luff,

09 Vine Wrangler Final avatar

Luff raises an eyebrow suspiciously, then smiles coldy, "oh, I see your game!" He calls out into the darkness.

The pixie raises his arms as he hovers backwards, then the water before the beast begins to bubble violently as a serpentine form of steam begins to form, wrapping itself around the strange creature. Its misty jaws lash out to bite at the flank of its watery victim.

Nothing like this creature exists in a natural world. Your eyes are drawn to the sewage channel and you realize that it's only ten inches deep. There is no room for creature of that size to swim in it.

Aehrick Oddskeeper,

Aehrick has his sword out and at the ready, his lips pressed into tight frown.

1d20 + 5 ⇒ (3) + 5 = 8= Perception, Total Defense as well, I suppose.

Cheliax nightflier,

Asmodeus 2 avatar

Once again, monster savagely attacks, clapping it's multiple jaws. Water splashes around the tunnel while you try to escape wet death in front of you. Once again, nobody got hurt. It seems that you are to tough pray for this predator. Yet, you were unable to hurt it as well.

Aehrick Oddskeeper,

11 Light Beacon Final avatar

Aehrick just shakes his head, glancing down at his ineffective blade and marveling that the assault has continued this long and he's none the worse for wear. His clothes, even, were intact save for the soaking.

"Time to make a bit of luck." He grunts, touching at his necklace and muttering a swift prayer about doubling his chances. And then there are two Aehricks! A duplicate blinking into being next to the original-- or is that the original and that the double? There's little time to guess as the pair goes running past the monster, side-by-side.

Using domain power "Copycat" to create a single image as per the Mirror Image spell as a move action. Then using a second move action to go 30' further into the tunnel (past the monster and provoking an Attack of Opportunity.

Alderthane,

"That cannae be right," Al mutters, frowning at where the creature meets the water, "where the Hells could that thing o' come from in this meager flow?"

The old man considers the evidence before him for a moment, then begins to walk calmly past the creature ignoring it entirely. "If I'm right abou' this, you folks may wanna follow me lead... I'm reckonin' this thing ain't all that it seems."

Rodrigo looks between his friend and the watery creature worriedly, but eventually follows Al's path, growling viciously towards the creature as he moves.

Al moves 30' along the tunnel, Rodrigo follows then takes standard defence.
Will save? 1d20 + 10 ⇒ (4) + 10 = 14

Leaf Hisical,

Leaf follows along in the wake of the two bold party members - firing a couple of bolts off in random directions to see if there is something around to be hit after all.

Old man walks right through the snapping jaws, ignoring the savage trashing of the water monster. As soon as he passed it, the water worms started to fade away and then - disappeared like a burst bubble of soap foam. Surprised, old man and his companions notice that their clothes are dry.

Cheliax nightflier,

The smell of sugar becomes slightly less noticeable, but the path behind you remains blocked. On a closer look, you determine that the wall of ice behind you is in fact hardened translucent sugar.

Cheliax nightflier,

Asmodeus 2 avatar

Alderthane 100 xp

Luff,

09 Vine Wrangler Final avatar

"Interesting..." Luff whispers to himself, hovering before the sugary wall blocking their way back. He draws a finger along it slowly, then holds the sample beneath his nose for a moment.

"It would seem that the way on, at least, is clear." he states, whirling around to face the open corridor before them, "Shall we move on?"

Arathalia Drow'sbane,

FINAL Carlisle PF 3 1 avatar

"An illusion...."

Cheliax nightflier,

Asmodeus 2 avatar

The tunnel in front of you seems subtly different, perhaps slightly smaller than before...

Jack's Cat,

The cat composes itself, shakes itself off and stalks arrogantly to the front of the party. "I believe we were heading this way."
