Swift action followed by immediate action in same turn?

Rules Questions

I have a magus that has the Pendant of the Blood Scarab which allows for an immediate action auto crit confirm as an immediate action.

I was wondering, is it possible to do a swift action on his turn, then should a critical threat be rolled utilize this immediate action within the same turn at the expense of any further immediate/swift actions till after the following turn?

I'm pretty sure immediate actions used on your turn count as swift actions, so no.

I'll have to double check that though.

EDIT:

Using an immediate action on your turn is the same as using a swift action and counts as your swift action for that turn. You cannot use another immediate action or a swift action until after your next turn if you have used an immediate action when it is not currently your turn (effectively, using an immediate action before your turn is equivalent to using your swift action for the coming turn). You also cannot use an immediate action if you are flat-footed.

Thought as much, was just wondering as it would seem to be okay to use an immediate action directly after your turn but not before that turn “ticks” over to the next in initiative.

Ah well^^;

Yup.

You can still use it on your turn provided you haven't already used a swift action ... although as a Magus you might be short on swift actions anyway.

Yeah, figured I might be pushing it, but thought it was worth a second opinion. Still a decent item for AoOs I reckon though.

Thanks for the response!
