Looking for advice on character selection / group composition

Advice

Hey folks! I posted this over in the Wrath of the Righteous sub forum, but it's not getting any traction. Kind of dried up over there.

So, first time advice seeker here. Just got invited to join an in progress WotR game, and having some issues finalizing a character. I am normally not indecisive with character selection, but I have been looking forward to playing this campaign for so long that I've had a lot of ideas and now that I was invited to join in on one, I'm having a tough time nailing it down. Looking for your opinions and thoughts on what to go with.

The Current group is as follows:

1. Pitborn Tiefling Paladin 3(Of Shelyn), Child of the Crusade, Sword and board.

2. Samsaran Wizard 3, Riftwarden Orphan.

3. Dwarf Cavalier (Castellan) 2/Fighter 1(Unbreakable), Waraxe/shield.

4. Hungerseed Tiefling Ranger (Infiltrator) 3, Switch hitter Longbow/Greatsword.

The two options I have been toying with are either an Oracle (Battle mystery), or Cleric (Possibly Mendevian Priest) of either Iomedea or Torag. Either a Dwarf or an Angelkin Aasimar. Likely two handed or reach weapon.

Looking for opinions on what would best fill out the current group. If you feel that would be something not in the list of what I am currently playing around with, great! Love to hear what that is. I'm having a hard time here going back and forth on everything, so any and all input is welcome and appreciated. If my ideas are trash, let me know that to! Stats are incredibly high and able to support any possible build.

Oracle, Cleric, Shaman, Witch or Druid would compliment that group nicely. It looks like you have solid melee and ranged expertise, and an arcane caster, so you really only need a divine caster of some kind, as well as someone who can act as a healer in a pinch. Either one of those 5 classes will accent the group well.

Even though Witch isn't divine, it would still be really good for the group to have a dedicated debuffer who can still cast heal spells in a pinch. Shaman also fills this role pretty well too.

Oracle of Battle is a great choice because they're like a self-sufficient tank that puts out decent damage and still casts spells like a pro.

But if you're looking to fill the role of the group's primary healer, you don't need to be limited by class anymore. Healer's Hands + Knowledge(Planes)/Heal skill = amazing healer (Healer's Hands would be a natural fit for a Mendevian Priest because of Knowledge (Planes) :D). So just pick a class that you really want to play and have fun ;)

Did I hear Dwarf Cleric of Torag? Make a Forgemaster. Do it. Do it. Do it.

Bard could also work.

Silver Crusade

Oracle (Battle mystery)
This is a very strong option for making a melee divine caster.

Cleric (Possibly Mendevian Priest)
Stay away from that archetype there are much better options out there.
Evangelist : is hands down the best archetype for support character. With a strong placing for a melee character as well.
Divine Strategist : is a very good option as well. Not as good at support as the Evangelist but has a very unique benefit to it.

I recommend going with Dwarf. Then for cleric. Torag offers the Protection Defense Sub-domain. One of the best cleric domains. As it frees up your cloak slot for a lesser cloak of displacement. Stacking your defensive ability's why using a two handed weapon. Now if your going Oracle of battle you take Skill at Arms (Ex): granting you access to all the Dwarf weapons as proficient because they are martial weapons for you. In particular Giant-sticker, dwarven Damage 2d6 Critical x3 Type P or S; Special brace, reach one of the highest damage pole arms.

Out side of that I have built a Dwarf Bard. They can be much more effective then you may think.
