Questions about deadly simplicity

So I was wondering if you take the deadly simplicity feat as a cleric and your god is nethys(who use staffs), does your die go up to 1d10 if you two hand the staff?

That would be correct, I believe.

Looks that way to me.

The is a very limited feat: Abadar, Asmodeus, Irori, Nethys, & Pharasma.
None of these gods is "good" aligned.

PF1 came up with like a zillion deities past the base 20. They're all likely to show up in PF2 fairly quickly.

why does this require to be trained in your deity’s favored weapon? All clerics are trained in their deity's favored weapon by default

A Wizard with the Cleric dedication archetype could eventually take this feat but be untrained in their deity’s weapon.

That just means that cleric dedication should give training in the deity's favored weapon. :)
