Visually Impaired Pathfinder Playtesters

Hey devs/community. I'm writing because I'd like to have a copy of the playtest materials printed as "printer" or "screen reader" friendly so that people with visual impairments can have it read to them without stopping at every image.

In previous materials it was much easier for the visually impaired to have the pdf docs read to them with their screen readers but this copy of the rulebook is extremely difficult and hard for the readers to read.

Can you guys get in touch with me or release a printer and or reader friendly version?

Sincerely,

your visually impaired pathfinders.

Seconded! I don't even have any major visual impairments - just a little bit of nearsightedness - and there's a few spots I'm having to fight with the pdf to adjust in a manner that lets me actually be able to read it and then having to jump someplace else to understand. I can only imagine how difficult it is for players who have more serious impairments.

Paizo had noted this issue before the playtest but not in enough time before they went to print. They have said to expect changes and are looking into ways to handle this.

Hmmm. Accessibility of the PDF is low, as expected--the icons don't have any text associated with them, so in the event you're using text-to-speech you can't tell what's an action, what's a reaction, and so on.
We are preparing a separate accessible version of the PDF that should be available soon.

And they want everyone to comment on this accessible version

Yes. We'll need the community to treat the accessible version of the playtest PDFs as a playtest itself: We'll need your help understanding the issues it has so that we can improve on it with future products. We now have an opportunity to build this in from the start.
