Dual Alignment Cleric-esque Class

Homebrew and House Rules

I made another post similar to this, but wasn't clear enough with my intentions.

For a campaign I'm working on, I want to make a Cleric with a forced Chaotic Evil alignment that takes a back seat to her actual alignment of Neutral Good. The plan for how this is accomplished in the story is via demon possession/brand on her body.

The problem I'm currently having is that I haven't made a class before, and from what I've been able to find, this hasn't been done before. Again, at least not that I can find.

I want her to use cleric spells with the good alignment, but also give her a random access to evil aligned spells. If anyone can offer insight as to how this could work, it would be much appreciated.

Keep in mind, it is still a divine caster class, and not Vigilante or something else.

I assume that you're the GM and that this character is an NPC, correct?

In that case: You don't need to design a whole class for this situation.

When you're the GM, your NPCs don't have to hew to the PC character creation rules. Just pick a CR for the NPC, pick the abilities you want the character to have, and make sure that the character's final stats fall within the general guidelines as shown on Bestiary Table 1-1: Monster Statistics by CR.

Alternatively, build the character as a straight-up NG cleric. But then hen have her possessed by a specific demon, per the possession rules from Occult Adventures.

Under those rules, you can have her not realize that she's possessed, thus retaining her NG alignment when she's in control of her own body.

Good luck!

If you couldn't tell, I'm pretty new at this, lol. Thanks for the help!

1) Create an NPC cleric.
2) Establish a list of memorized spells for the 'good persona" and another for the 'evil persona.'
3) Line the spell lists up so that if the good cleric casts Protection from Evil and, later, the demon takes over, the cleric will not remember having cast Protection from Evil but will have to wonder where his Bane spell went.

*) You could do the same with feats if you want. (The good cleric has access to improved channel (for instance) while the evil demonic cleric has access to command undead instead.)
