can bloodline powers stack

Rules Questions

im currently looking at making a crossblooded aberrant black blood bloodrager, and with that im seeing that i could, by level 8, have a 15 foot reach.
the question is, i dont know if these two abilities will stack, each of those bloodlines have a level 4 bloodline power that increases your reach by 5 ft.
i have another player telling me these will not stack as they are both from bloodlines, can anyone give me a rulebook answer as to whether or not this will stack?
or if it is because of the fact they come from the same class, in which case, could i take crossblooded bloodrager to 4, then sorcerer to 3 to get both abilities and end up with the same abilities, with one of them from sorcerer instead?

This is a bit of an edge case. Normally two powers from different bloodlines that give untyped bonuses would indeed stack, but the problem here is that both bloodlines are giving the same ability. It's not so much that it doesn't stack, it's that you already have that ability so taking it again doesn't do anything. So it really comes down to GM ruling; if he rules that both bloodlines give the same ability, then you already have the ability and taking it a second time does nothing. If your GM rules that they're different abilities that just happen to have the same name and work the same way, then they stack.

Technically speaking, at 8th level you already have Abnormal Reach (SU) so according to Crossblooded Rager's own wording you can't chose Abnormal Reach (SU) again even if it is from a different bloodline than the first. I'm sure this was done intentionally to prevent someone from doing exactly what you want to do.

Yeah, that's an unusual case. The aberrant bloodrager and black blood bloodrager's reach-extending abilities don't stack for the simple reason that they have the same name. Compare the aberrant sorcerer bloodline, which has a different reach-extending ability--that would stack with either of the above, though you'd have to do it via the Eldritch Heritage feat chain, variant multiclassing, or taking levels in both sorcerer and bloodrager. (I don't recommend the latter at all.)

thank you all for answering my question, me and my playgroup tend to end up with these odd out of the ordinary situations, its useful to have helpful forum people to help out
