I've been digging for a while on the internet and I cannot find a list of all damage types. So does anybody know where I can find that?
Not a consolidated list that I know of, but here are the types that I can recall:
Fire [Energy]
Electricity [Energy]
Cold [Energy]
Acid [Energy]
Sonic [Energy]
Positive [Energy]
Negative [Energy]
Slashing [Physical]
Bludgeoning [Physical]
Piercing [Physical]
Force [Force]
Holy [Untyped]
Unholy [Untyped]
All the above types can be lethal or non-lethal damage, as well.
It depends on how you wan to define damage.
Do you want to count things that only hit hp?
Do you want to include effects that remove spell slots?
Or only cause negative levels?
There's not a comprehensive list because it wouldn't really be useful. There are too many ways to be damaged.
