Character Sheet: Backgrounds informations required!

Playtest

I'm in the process of making a digital sheet for my players in prep of the playtest. Given that we want to start playing as soon as possible I want the sheet to do most of the heavy lifting when it comes to character creation, such that the players can choose the ABC options from dropdown menu items and only have to worry about the feat option portions.

I can't fill out everything just yet obviously but I'm trying to do what I can so that when the book drops I only have to add options to my framework.

To that end (I couldn't find it but there are people much better at hoovering up information out there on these boards) I am looking for as complete list of the Backgrounds and their Ability Boost options as possible.

Thanks in advance!

Lots of good stuff!

Fantastic, I can have most of character gen done apart from feat choices and the few core stats we lack for some ancestry/classes.

I've made this purely for my group, so that they can easily make characters without being all that comfortable with the system (we want to jump in almost right away.) For folks who are interested.

Current issues: Don't have all the Class ability Boost, HP per level or DC attribute and don't have the full Ancestry attributes for Half Elf, Half Orc or Human.

It does however, if I've got it right, auto calculate most total Bonuses, HP, Speed, Size, Lore from Background, Bulk, Resonance and lets you go through the ABC character creation system (sans feats) to arrive at an ability score loadout (of course only working for the Races, Ancestries we have the full details of, but adding these will take 10-15 minutes once I've got the PDF!)

Feats will have to be manually input and I'm holding off making a Powers/Spells sheet until I've seen enough to decide what format I want those to take.

Will you be playing Doomsday Dawn? I ask because the first adventure doesn’t use any of the backgrounds listed by a Cyouni above. Instead the adventure asks you to make a first level character as normal, but using one of the adventure specific backgrounds instead of one from the core rule book. I believe one of these adventure specific backgrounds is Pathfinder Hopeful (see the Fumbus precon as an example).

I thought there would be more in Doomsday Dawn (which I'll add when I get it, probably with something like ----Core---- and ----Doomsday Dawn---- to indicate which ones belong to which.) I didn't think you HAD to use the Doomsday Dawn ones, as that would kinda defeat the purpose of having the others to test (and wouldn't give any results for whether Campaign Specific Backgrounds were overshadowing normal ones.)

You don’t have to, of course. But the Doomsday Dawn text (barely readable) from the PaizoCon banquet had a side panel for each of the 7 adventures requesting that certain rules be used for each adventure (as many of the adventures ask that you build new characters at the level being tested, while others ask that you advance one of your characters from a previous adventure). The only request for the first adventure, however, is that the players build characters using one of the adventure specific backgrounds, presumably to test how well the background specific hooks included in the level 1 adventure are received.

My understanding for Doomsday Dawn is that you will have 1 main character, who will be used for several of the adventures, and then 2-3 other characters who will probably only make 1 appearance (certainly the ones in the module designed to test the death rules will be one-shots)

I suspect that the first part characters will be the continuing ones, and have the backgrounds that tie you to the main plot, whilst the one-shots will have more flexibility
