Gray Maiden rules

Rules Questions

Sovereign Court

Got a couple of questions when started building Gray Maiden, especially using vigilante archetype.

Does Agile Maiden feat let me move at full speed with armor training 1?

Does Masked Maiden get full fighter's armor training? If yes, can you chose advanced armor training options at level 7, 11 and 15?

Scars of the Past description states that you can upgrade battered Gray Maiden plate to masterwork by spending 150g and one day of work. Does this mean 150gp and 1pp in PFS?

By the way, question about renown talents. Do I have to spend prestige points to make use of renown in some specific location? Can I just state that renown works in Abessalom or in some part of it?

Also, can you select both Zealot and Masked Maiden archetypes? Nothing, except the statement that you must chose avenger specialization prevents you, because the specialization itself is not altered by MM, but still want to know for sure.

1. Yes, you are treated as heavy or medium depending on what's most beneficial, full speed is most beneficial.

2. You get full armor training, you cannot take advanced armor training options instead (though you can take the feat).

3 and 4. I am unsure of PFS rules.

5. They both affect vigilante specialization, you cannot.

You can indeed move at full speed while wearing Gray Maiden plate if you have Agile Maiden and armor training 1.

The masked maiden can take advanced armor training options in the same fashion as any other archetype that receives armor training; this was an intentional part of the design. They wouldn't be able to select the feat without some way to meet the fighter level prerequisite (such as the combat skill vigilante talent), though.

PFS hasn't stipulated the expenditure of PP for the armor upgrade, so as far as I know, it's not necessary. Same for renown and defining an area. That's not my own area of expertise, though.

The archetypes can't be stacked because they both modify the same class feature. Even looking at things from a pre-FAQ viewpoint, they wouldn't stack because you must choose avenger, and you can't choose avenger if you don't get a choice.

Hopefully this helps. ^_^

This definitely helped, thanks! One last question: what actually is a will save to transform/not to transform in vigilante identity with Masked Maiden archetype? Do any boons vs emotion/pain/fear effects help with it?

Just a Will save; nothing more, nothing less. ^_^

Will do. Thank you again for clarification! It is reeeeally good that rule authors participate in forum discussions.
