Hi everyone!
I thought it'd be nice to create a thread here for people to talk about what fun they are having for Free RPG Day.
I'm leaving my house in a bit with Heroes for Highdelve and We Be 5upergoblins! prepped for the festivities. What scenarios are other people GMing / playing?
P.S. - Did I miss something, or is there no Free RPG Day chronicle sheet this year?

I went all out in my prep for Skitter Shot, because I was so hyped for the module. I sketched some Paper Minis and drew the Map of the Emerald Empyrean with a Skittermander closeup.
There was only one location in the Twin Cities for Free RPG Day this year, the Gaming Goat in Woodbury. It’s a tiny store, with space for only two tables for the games and one smaller table tof the Free RPG Day giveaways. When I arrived, I had two dads there already, each with a kid in tow, excited to play Skitter Shot, along with two other adults. Both kids were around 7 years of age. For both kids, it was their very first RPG. They were excited to be Skittermanders and they loved being helpful, hyper and calling everyone ‘Nufriend!’
From the start of the adventure until the end, the two kids (and the rest of the party, actually) were giggling all the way through.
Iammars’ prep of the monster stat blocks along with her player handouts of all the Skitter abilities kept everything going smoothly too. What a great adventure for a roleplaying GM! I got to do all sorts of voices and move everyone along a really fun map, and the whole party — adults and children alike — had fun too!
Because tables were tight at this location, none of the Skittershot tables ran the optional encounter. There were players waiting, and we wanted to keep things moving. My table clocked in at two hours on the dot. The other table that ran at the same time took three hours for the same adventure, but with sufficient prep Skittershot is a solid two-hour romp — great for conventions with drop-in players.
Bret ran a table of We Be 5uper Goblins after my game of Skittershot, and it looked like they had a great time too! Both adventures were whimsical romps and lots of fun!

A few pictures of the Emerald Empyrean (Warning - SPOILERS for a few Skitter Shot encounters) fresh off the map plotter, after some scanning and image processing by myself (very little), the amazing Michael Eshleman (a ton), and my lodge's cartographer; Augustus Poe (making everything perfect and doing the printing/delivery to our FLGS in time for Free RPG Day)!
