Paladin becoming Holy Vindicator in official Society play?

Rules Questions

So, the Holy Vindicator prestige class requires the "Channel energy class feature" in order to take it.

However a Paladin has the "Channel POSITIVE Energy" class feature.

I'd like to know if this wording makes a Paladin PC unable to take the Holy Vindicator prestige class in official society play for Pathfinder?

Yup, it does =)

Do you have a cite (and is it PFS-specific)? Because SKR said the opposite with excellent justification back when SKR was authoritative (for PF in general, not PFS). (Hmm, been referencing that post a lot lately.)

Having read that post it seems like SKR is agreeing with me ...? I'm pretty sure there's an FAQ floating around somewhere that specifically mentions that a Paladn's Channel Positive Energy counts as "Channel Energy" for prerequisites, but I have to go to work, so I can't look right now =P

Oh lol, I see the problem, I misread the OP's post ... haha disregard everything I said.

Yes the Paladin can take Holy Vindicator (must have seemed weird that I put a smiley face in my first post).

Sorry for the confusion *facepalm*
