Recruiting box runners for "Cards Against Gnomanity", our first online ACG-only convention!

Pathfinder Adventure Card Society

Grand Lodge 2/5

I've posted a recruitment request for box runners for our first online ACG-specific convention, which we're titling "Cards Against Gnomanity", and it'll begin on July 9th. Call for Recruitment!

I'm sure the announcement is imminent (or I missed it), but is the con both play-by-forum and live?

I'm looking forward to my first play-by-forum games, assuming they're in the works.

We'll see how many Nok-Nok characters make an appearance...

I think it is entirely play-by-forum. I'll ping Tyler and get him to confirm. But I can say there will definitely be play-by-forum.

Because it's very hard to imagine the logistics of having both happen at the same time, I'm going to restrict us to only play by forum for this event. However, I plan to have ACG participate in the virtual tabletop conventions happening in the fall as well, using "live" play by post format.

Great, thanks for the information. Looking forward to it.

I just saw the signup post on BGG. Very cool. The link:

Quick question:

The expectation is for participants to post once per day. If I know that I'll be offline for 3-4 days in late July (summer is the holiday season...), does that mean that I shouldn't participate? (I may have internet access, but probably won't.) Or are occasional exceptions made?

As long as you let your BR and the rest of the table know that you'll be MIA for those 3-4 days, it's totally fine. The important thing is that you don't ghost your table, with everyone just wondering where you went.

Our motto in the Play-by-post world is "Real Life Comes First". :)
