I can't find a website.

Hey everybody,

I was looking for a specific website that would help players choose a class. You'd simply enter the classes from the other party members and you'd get a suggestion for a class that would add something to the party.

Does anyone know where I can find this website?

Here's one: LINK

I don't know about a website like that, but there is the Spheres of Power Wiki's page on character roles, which can help people figure out what areas an existing party may be lacking in.

I see what you did there.

As for GM Rednal's suggestion, that might actually be more useful as at least one player is interested in using third party stuff that isn't covered by the what-class-to-play tool. I still want to find that website though.

I think it's whatshouldiroll.com, but the website's misbehaving for me. Not sure if it's a temporary anomaly or the site's been taken offline.

Uhm, jup. It's dead. Well, that explains a lot. Thanks Quentin.

If I could just chime in here...

There is certainly a video game mentality which suggests you should have a beefcake, a healer, an arcane controller and maybe a useless token skill monkey. But in the context of the story you're probably some dudes who met in a tavern or something. Your "role" should center around your character and not your class's combat niche.

Well, different people enjoy different things. Some people just want to show up with the character they want to play (*Glances at PFS*), while others really enjoy figuring out specific positions within a group and embracing the tactical side, irrespective of their feelings on roleplaying. XD With plenty of in-between, of course.
