I'm interested in how this turned out for others;
GM notes on #1-13:
Running high tier with 3x level 5 and 2x level 4 PCs, they were completely outmatched against the "Unknown Ship" even with multiple starship boons (eg, extra 30 HP). Players were asking if the Pegasys has escape pods as it approached their disabled ship with its tentacle appendages ready to tear them apart. They were very grateful to Doctor Monsylkis for her assistance.
The final combat was nearly a TPK, a new player with Keskodai was 30' channeling every round to keep bringing their two melee fighters up from 0HP. The thunderhead dragonglaive and LFD pulse gauntlet were devastating. Keskodai switched to using Mind Thrust II (Farvenzi failed Will) taking out the dragonkin before she could use her breath weapon again, which finally turned the battle to the PCs favor.
There were a lot of white knuckles but everyone loves it when its close.
They ended up recruiting Doctor Monsylkis to the society and kept the Izalguun's secret.
